Centraal gelegen appartement met mooi uitzicht

Midden in het centrum met prachtig uitzicht op het raadhuis en de stad. Alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Ruime woonkamer, goed voorziene keuken en zeer schoon. Zeer goede bedden met fijne lakens.

De locatie is wat moeilijk bereikbaar vanaf de parkeergarage (je moet een stukje wandelen door de toeristenmassa). Het was ons niet meteen duidelijk dat er een knopje in de tag zat die ingedrukt moest worden om de deur te openen. Je moet twee trappen op om het appartement te bereiken, dat kan voor mensen die moeilijk ter been zijn een uitdaging zijn.

Mittendrin in der Altstadt mit sagenhaftem Blick auf das Alte Rathaus

Der Blick auf das Alte Rathaus und die Brücke ist spektakulär, das Haus ist historisch, daher auch die etwas schiefen Böden, was aber dem Charme der kleinen Wohnung keinen Abbruch tut. Für Kurzaufenthalte auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Great place for a short stay in the heart of Bamberg.

The property’s in a fantastic location in the centre of Bamberg - just a short walk to all the places to visit in the Altstadt. Getting the keys was simple. The room, although fairly small, was fine for me and my daughter for the 3 nights we stayed. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

The WiFi wasn’t great, and if like me you’re reasonably tall and prone to banging your head on things, you need to take some care as it is an old building with low ceilings.

Central location on quiet street

The location is very convenient, right in the old town but on a nice quiet street. Plenty of restaurants and shops within 5- 10 minute walk

The ceilings in the room and especially the shower, are very low if you are tall. The pillows were terrible

Absolute perfect location and would recommend highly to everyone

The property was a perfect size for the four of us and in the most exceptional location you could wish to be in.

I think as we were a group of four we could’ve done with an extra key, it was a little inconvenient when we didn’t want to stick together all the time

A pleasant stay in a beautiful spot

the location was exceptional. The apartment was small but pleasant and very well arranged. it was clean and fresh.

There is no one in the building to ask information. The Frankisches room where we stayed did not have a Wi-Fi signal at all. I had to sit at the stairs of the building for the Wi-Fi.

A FEW CONCERNS

Location

Wifi was very poor and patchy having to go into toilet or hallway to use. SERIOUS ISSUE OF BICYCLES BLOCKING ENTRANCE HALLWAY WHICH COULD BE DISASTROUS IN CASE OF FIRE OR EMERGENCY.

Overall, we were thrilled with the location and cleanliness!

The location and view were absolutely amazing! The apartment was very clean and well kept. The kitchen had a nice stock of coffee pods, sugar, salt, and pepper, etc. The owner really does a nice job of making the guest feel comfortable. We enjoyed sitting by the windows and watching people walking on the bridge or just listening to the rush of water from the river. It was very peaceful there and surprisingly quiet for such a central location.

The only minor complaint I have is that the bed my husband and I slept on was actually a pull-out couch. (There were also two twin beds in the other room, but my children slept there.) It wasn't uncomfortable so much as very, very firm. If you are a back sleeper, then it's probably not a problem. But as a side sleeper, it made me a little sore and I woke several times throughout the night. I found it hard to get comfortable.

Superb

The location is incredible - the view is from the apartment directly over the river to the Rathaus. It is a short walk to the city centre and there are various restaurants and cafes nearby. A secure car park is also a short walk to the apartment. The apartment is small but very clean and comfortable.

Wonderful location in downtown Bamberg.

Fabulous location overlooking the Rathaus bridge. Easy to get in with a lockbox right outside. Was actually larger than expected and loved the roominess. Coffee and dishes in the kitchen and WiFi. We loved it and I’d book again!

There were only 2 twin beds on the sleeping area. We were away for a romantic weekend so that was a bit surprising at first but worked out okay. The couch in the living room did fold down to a larger bed.

Exceptional

This is a picture-perfect location in the center of the old town, right on the Regnitz River and adjacent to the Altes Rathaus, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The building is old but the apartments are nicely updated and comfortable. Even the slightly sloping floor adds a charm to this delightful location. Fresh paint, clean rooms, nice, if small, bathrooms and modest cooking facilities in the two rooms we rented. You couldn’t ask for a nicer home base from which to enjoy the sights and scenes of the wonderful town of Bamberg! If I’m lucky enough to visit Bamberg again, this will be my first choice for a place to stay!

As seems to be the norm in Europe, shower stalls are pretty tiny. This was no exception. But, it was bigger than one I had in a Munich hotel for which I paid quite a bit more! That is the only thing that was a small negative.
