This is our second year here and it was beautiful, both times. Communication was always quick and kind. The house is homey and well equipped. The beds and furniture are super comfy. The wifi works great. Our dog loves the fenced in yard for running and playing. This is truly a peaceful haven and we can't wait to return.

Erika’s cottage was perfect for our stay. The fenced in yard is great for dogs and ours loved to swim in the pond. The house had the basics and the town of Bethel is so close which was great. We would definitely stay here again!

As usual we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to get together with family and enjoyed getting take-out at the Good Food store, pastries at Gemini , and having dinner at the Bethel Inn. The weather was great--cool nights and pleasant days. Thanks Erika

This is my 3rd time staying at Blueberry Cove, it is a beautiful property, well kept and very cozy. The fenced in yard is roomy and fenced up to the waters edge making it perfect if you’re travelling with a dog. It’s close to town but very quiet on the pond. The host is very easy to communicate with and prompt to answer questions. They provide kayaks and a canoe that are easily launched from the boat dock. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and utensils and the beds and pillows are newer and comfortable. I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying there again.

I have family in Bethel so we needed a close spot to hang out. 3 adults and 1 child stayed comfortably, any more could feel a little crowded because the house is small - but very cute. The picnic table outside became our central eating spot. Songo Pond has clear water (not too much algae) and wasn’t busy with motor boats. There’s no beach but the rocks are not bad off the dock in the shallow area.

The home and property is exactly as pictured - not fancy, but very clean and the lake front is so pretty! It was also really great to have a fenced yard so we could relax on the dock without watching the dog every second! It was also very nice to have the kayaks and canoe as we didn't use them enough that we could have justified renting them, but had a few fun outings with them. The town is just a five minute drive and has a good basic grocery store along with a lovely coffee shop. We would be glad to return to this home!

Songo Pond was a perfect location for so many activities in the Bethel area. Blueberry Cove was also the ideal spot for just hanging out on a quiet day; very peaceful and idyllic lakeside retreat. The canoe and 3 kayaks plus 2 docks and a float made sure we got in lots of lake time. Had to share cove with loons and a heron.
The cottage was well equipped and all appliances were operational. A comfortable living room + a Smart TV were welcome on a long rainy afternoon.

We stay here because the owners are very understanding of pets as family. Our family has many paws and they are always accommodating and understanding. They have the water sports supplies you need, and are always quick to answer questions on the fly. The instructions and guidelines are well defined, and not suffocating. This place is ideal for us. We go on vacation to get away from tourists, we live in a seaside community. Away from it all is just where we end up staying here.

It was our second time in renting this water front cottage. Very comfortable and close to area attractions. We enjoyed our stay despite the wet weather. Area was flooded from excessive rain but the property owners were very responsive and helpful. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. Would recommend this rental to others.

This was a great little house for our recent vacation. It was conveniently located for us and we really enjoyed the beautiful pond. (It was wonderful to have full access to the canoe and kayaks!) Our dog also loved running around the large fenced in yard. It was very clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay again.

The accommodations were as the description states. Very nice older cottage on the water. Plenty of room for four adults. The traffic noise from the road is continuous from dawn to dusk, but did not prevent a restful stay. We enjoyed our week stay very much.

Blueberry Cove Cottage is exactly what one thinks of in a Maine lake vacation. It is cozy and comfortable. The deck is the perfect spot for morning coffee. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is fully equipped. The satellite and wifi allow connectivity, if you need it. There is peace and quiet...even in August! Stella, our dog, loved the swimming and having a fenced in yard is a treasure: Stella ran like the wind all around the yard. Erika's communication, knowledge of the area, and kindness were fantastic. We will definitely be back!

My husband, our fur-babies, and I spent the most relaxing week on the lake. I'm honestly not sure who enjoyed it most: us or the dogs! The cottage was clean and courteously appointed with necessities: linens, beach towels, kitchen ware, fans, area maps, etc. The kayaks and cornhole were an added bonus. We spent more time outdoors than in the cottage, enjoying the gorgeous sunsets on the dock and swimming/kayaking on the lake. We even squeezed a day trip to Mount Washington in, a 30-min ride away. Erika was easy to communicate with, making herself available, yet giving us the privacy we crave while vacationing. Thanks so much for a lovely visit. We hope to come again!

Second time staying here. Hosts are always great about staying in touch and making sure the property is up to expectation. They are very understanding and accommodating. The dogs love it!! Plenty of swimming for them and our son. As for fishing, I haven’t quite found the sweet spot yet, but there is no lost fun in trying.

Peaceful, Beautiful, Blueberry Cove
This is my second time at Blueberry Cove and it is lovely! Clean and comfortable, with everything you need there, or easy to get in town just a 10 minute drive away. The fenced-in yard is spectacular and the docks on the pond make for easy boating and water play. I was traveling with my adult siblings, older mother, and large active dog and the space suited us all perfectly! Would definitely stay again.

Stunning views less than 3 miles from Bethel
I went to Bethel to attend the Maine Mountains Jeep Jamboree, we were on the waitlist to get a spot in the Jamboree and by the time we were notified that we had a spot all of the Hotels in the area were booked solid and for roughly the same price as some of the few Inns and B&B’s that still had vacancies and significantly less than the Inn and Resort that the Jamboree was using as “Home Base” were charging for that weekend, we got to spend our evenings at a charming 3 bedroom pond-side cottage where we made full use of the fire pit while watching the stunning views of Sago Pond as the sun set. Don’t let the term “pond” fool you this is a large body of water with a surface area of 224 acres (1) and the only reason it is considered a pond instead of a lake is that it is a relatively shallow body of water with a maximum depth of 25 feet. (1 - Information source is a Survey conducted by the Maine Dept. of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife August 1950, Revised 1953 and 1998)
With as quickly as this Maine Mountains Jeep Jamboree sells out, if I get the chance to attend it again in the future I would not hesitate to reach out to Erika to see if her “Blueberry Cove Cottage” is available for the time frame.

Perfect vacation
The house was perfect for my husband, myself and our 2 dogs. The fenced in back yard is amazing, my dogs loved to run around or just lay out in the sun in the grass. The house is about 5 minutes away from Bethel and it offered everything we needed. It was a perfect family vacation. Erika was great with communication. I would recommend staying here to anyone!

Nature
Let me start with it is a beautiful property. The fenced in back yard is amazing. Nature is all around you while there with a slight interruption of road noise during the day. The lake is peaceful and beautiful. The Loons are awesome to sit and watch. Trails around are easy to find and are breath taking. Even though the water table was low, there were some gorgeous brooks with amazing rock patterns along the trails. The community is so friendly in Bethel. Very dog friendly and welcoming. Your are 5 minutes away from Bethel and it offers everything you need. I would advise picking up any bait and tackle you may need ahead of time. The bait shop in the area is closed down and all we could find was worms at a filling station. But we still caught some nice pan fish. Overall, it was a great relaxing vacation and would recommend Stating here. Thank you

Cozy Cottage in Maine
Cottage was the perfect size for my husband and I and dog. It was cozy and clean and had direct access to the pond. Loved that it had a yard for my dog to roam around. We took advantage of the canoe and kayaks on site. Cottage was near downtown so that we could grocery shop and not too far from North Conway where we took advantage of Outlet Shopping on an overcast/rainy day. The only issue which wasn't that important to us due to the cooler weather of late August was swimming. There is a swimming pier on the property but the water was very shallow. Overall we had a great time!

Lakeside in Maine - what’s not to love?
Our family had a wonderful time at the cottage last week. The lake is nice for swimming and boating. We really appreciated having access to kayaks, the canoe, etc. It is close to the road, but almost no one goes by in the evening so it’s very quiet at night. The cottage itself was cute and cozy. Downstairs bathroom is teeny tiny, but totally fine. It has everything you need. It was clean and well-maintained as well - we had no problem letting our 10-month-old crawl all over the place. It was also great to be so close to town, so it was easy to check out all Bethel has to offer.

Great Cottage
Such a nice little place. Very relaxing. Had all the things we were looking for when renting a place for our vacation - fire pit, kayaks and canoe, swimming right off the property. Erika was great with communication whenever I had a question and she had a great suggestion for a place to get firewood really cheap. As other reviews have pointed out, my only real less-than-perfect item is that the master bedroom bed is not the most comfortable in the world, but Erika in another review response says it will be replace by next season. So we could be back next summer too if COVID still keeps us limited to domestic travel.
One thing that Erika does not show in her pictures of the place that she should highlight is that the cottage also has a swim platform out in the pond. I didn't know it was ours to use at first until I emailed Erika to ask. She should definitely point that out better in the listing because it was a great amenity.

Great Property
This is the second summer in a row we stayed. Great all around property with everything you need for the week. Kitchen was well equipped. Canoe and kayaks were fun. My only complaint would be the master bed is uncomfortable.
Plenty to do on the area. ATV rental at Northeast Snowmobile was a great morning activity. Pontoon rental at Moose Landing Marina on Long Lake (about an hour away) was a super fun day of tubing, fishing and swimming. I recommend Mallard Mart in town for convenience needs and pizza. Sud’s Pub had the best food around hands down.Also this year we tried Mountain View Massage and they were amazing! We had a great massage lakeside!

Cozy Home Will Make You Smile
We had a wonderful time vacationing at this property. We kayaked, went swimming, watched the loons and ducks, and enjoyed sitting & chatting by the water. The house was well organized and it was easy to access needed accessories (life jackets, boats, paddles, kitchen supplies, etc.)We truly enjoyed the decor & cleanliness of the home. The location makes it easy to drive to Bethel and other towns in the area to bird watch, trail walk, shop, pick up food, etc. The owner was excellent in communicating and understanding issues that may occur with an older group (Lockbox? What's that? OOPS we messed it up, not the owner) Thank you for a most enjoyable, relaxing vacation!
