About this cabin rental

Thanks for taking a look at My Vacation Property Rental (MVP Rental). A bit about myself before the home. I've owned and been renting properties in the Pocono's Towamensing Trails community since 2011. Over that time and across my various properties, I've handled thousands of reservations and have developed the knowledge to deliver a great experience that is super easy and smooth. So enough about me, let's talk about this wonderful entertainment space.

This home was the first property I purchased. The home was used personally for many years while also renting until relocation to the area ended the need for a second home. I The home is located near the edge of the community but is tucked back into thick pines and is well hidden from view. The third-floor covered deck is without doubt the best spot to take in a snow or rain storm. It's so quiet at night you can hear the snow landing on the pine trees. It's a fantastic location.

The home is tastefully decorated, comfortable for families, and cozy for romantic getaways. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, the home has air conditioning, gas fireplace, high speed Wi-Fi, outdoor seating area and grill. All homes are smoke-free, and pet friendly provided appropriate pet fee has been paid.

All homes are located within the popular resort community of Towamensing Trails with many seasonal amenities, which use is included in your rental fee.

I have been staying in Towamensing trails since I was a little girl and I always enjoy going back to visit. We had a great weekend away, the house was very clean and cozy. Everything described on the site was accurate. The owner was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions I had. This house is perfect for a weekend/week getaway. I would highly recommend :)

This place was just what we needed. Plenty of room, quiet and clean. The beds were comfy and they were made up better than I do at home. Showers were hot with plenty of pressure and the covered deck was great plus, since it rained three days during our stay. And Will is an amazing host. He made the whole process painless

Comfortable retreat for time away with family for a little rest and recharge. It was really nice not having to make all the beds and drag a big bag of linens and towels with us for our stay. The owner was responsive and great with communication. We would consider staying here in the future. Overall a very good experience!

We really wanted a place were we could step away to relax and recharge. Our stay gave us exactly that! The house was as described in the pictures, clean and communication was clear with owner. We played the board games and had a nice time around the firepit. A 20 minute ride into Jim Thorpe for dinner and shopping was perfect. We would definitely rent his property again!

I must say i was very happy during my stay. The home is so beautiful cozy and intimate. There were fun board games and a fire pit was a plus. We made smores so we were happy. The owner was very easy to contact. Overall i give this property a 5 star.

We had a great weekend. House was just as described. Communication was excellent. House was clean and comfortable. Couch could be replaced and kitchen could use more items like bowls, more cups and plastic storage containers. Would stay here again !

The house is lovely and comfortable and in a secluded part of the development. We saw deer every day and didn't hear any neighbors! The host was great at communicating with us ahead of time. We didn't have any issues while there! The only drawback we found was the homeowners association is not keen on renters. There was a definite vibe of renters not being wanted. We were able to use all the amenities, just with a lot of hassle and no sense of welcome. But the property and the host were great!

Great community to stay in- like living in a deer park. Loved all the wildlife, the beach and pool. Appreciated all of the paper goods & loved the balcony/porch! Yard has window screens that need to be put away and the basement wall has insulation that should be taken care of. Would have liked a bath mat in the bathrooms but overall the amenities were great in the home. Would recommend this home! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We very much enjoyed our long weekend escape. “Tree House” best describes clean, comfortable, cozy home nestled in a quiet community among trees and nature. Wonderful fireplace and plenty of cooking and eating space in equipped kitchen. Lovely decks for reading, relaxing and taking in bird sounds. We enjoyed close proximity to beach and lake. Hope to return during warmer weather. Happy memories with our 2 children and dogs. Son especially enjoyed bunk beds! Pictures on listing accurate description. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay here. Stayed for a couple nights and had a minor issue, but spoke with the owner (he’s great), and he was there in a few minutes to fix it. Had everything we needed to cook a couple meals and stay comfortably. Highly recommend the place.

Everything about this rental was easy...from the initial rental, to check in and checking out. Owner was easy to communicate with and on top of our questions and needs. Only hiccup (and *I* could have missed it in the description) was the outside stairs to access the living area. One of us is 70+ and another was in a "boot" post-op from foot surgery but we made it work. Lovely home, well equipped, and beautiful location.

We had a really nice time and the property was very nice. Overall pretty clean. Just a suggestion to dust the ceilings as there are many cobwebs in different rooms but other than that a very nice property.

Overall our stay was wonderful. The community was quiet and each morning we enjoyed watching deer walk around the home. We traveled with teens so they enjoyed the amenities but after a day wanted more to do. Bringing a game system was a plus and allowed my husband and myself some down time. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was the age of the furniture and decor. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable to sleep on and the couch in the living room was soft and difficult to get out of. You could tell that the springs were shot. The upstairs bathroom was nice but I would recommend using just as an extra toilet and shower downstairs. I am an average size woman and had difficulty using the shower due to the size. Also make sure that you pack everything you need to cook. There were several supplies that I needed that were not in the kitchen such as measuring spoons and a measuring cup. Outside of that it was an enjoyable stay. I would probably go again with just my husband and not the teens.
