There's nothing like an authentic Hill Country home for an authentic Hill Country getaway. Guadalupe Daze is the place to stay for your next Hill Country getaway! This 2,100 square foot home comfortably hosts up to 8 guests with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Inside is designed for Hill Country living. The living room provides comfortable seating for your party with a couch and two love seats. Want some TV time? Head around the corner for the entertainment area that offers seating and an HDTV. For mealtime, the home includes a fully-equipped kitchen with modern appliances, essential kitchenware, and plenty of space. For dining, you'll find a dining table that comfortably seats 8 as well as a breakfast nook that seats 4. There's also a washer and dryer available for guest use.
Upstairs is where you'll find the first bedroom complete with a queen-size bed. The first full bathroom features a shower/tub combo. Downstairs is where you'll find the second and third bedrooms both complete with queen-size beds. Downstairs is where you'll also find the second full bathroom that features a shower/tub combo. The fourth bedroom is located upstairs and includes 2 twin beds.

Take advantage of the convenient waterfront access right outside the backyard. There is a large rock ledge at the river's edge that makes for easy river entry, as well as a great place to lounge and enjoy the cool waters. The nearest river outfitter to equip you with rafts and tubes is a short 2- 3 minute walk down the street. Whitewater Amphitheater, River Road Ice House, Gruene Hall, Schlitterbahn, and much more are within a quick drive of the property.

This was our 4th summer to rent this property, and we always have a great time. You cannot beat the location, and river access. Also, the rock shelf, just into the river is great for lounging and playing, if you have littles. We were two families, with four adults, and three teens, and the house has great space, for all. We always appreciate the Adirondack chairs, and grill provided. You have everything you need, for a stay at Guadalupe Daze, and the AC works great! We will be back!

The location of the property and access to the river was spectacular. The home and interior furnishings could definitely use some updating but we were more interested in the location than the sleeping conditions.

Can't beat having the Guadalupe River in your backyard! Loved staying here over Spring Break. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space in this house. Awesome deck overlooking the river. So glad there was water in the river even during this drought. We were able to float in our tubes and do some fishing. Sure enjoyed it & hope to be back this summer!

This house checked all our wants -on the river and accessible - tubing outfitter near house- large house giving everybody their own bedroom -huge deck and table to play games ,etc nice house layout -enough room for 4 cars even tho it says only 3 - fun was had by all!!!

We have come to this wonderful house each summer - except 2020 - since 2011. walking in the front door feels like coming home. The bathrooms were remodeled since we were here last year. That was a pleasant surprise. The river access is so nice. Kids from littles to bugs can play in the river with its shallow rock shelf by the shore and deeper channel in the middle. There is so much living space here - separate tv room and large deck allow us to spread out. Btw I dining tables and barstools let us set up a game or puzzle and still be able to eat together. As soon as we figure out the dates around our teens I'll be making reservations for next summer.

Brought grandkids to see hill country, hike and play in the water. We tubed down the river, went to canyon lake and blanco state park and Guadalupe river state park.

The house is very comfortable. My friends and I spent a relaxing few days by the river. Lots of room for the five of us college buddies who get together for a few days at least once a year. Beds are comfortable, TVs to watch baseball games, sat out on the deck under beautiful trees, great access to the river. The house is a little worn from usage, but nothing broken and everything clean. All necessities are there. Nice location on the river and less than 10 minutes to get to Sattler for groceries, pizza and hamburgers. Rhonda at Vacay Hill Country was very attentive; helped us get an early check in and gave us a phone call to ask if we needed anything.

The house was nice and cozy. We were upset that the grass was really tall while all the neighbors grass was mowed. That made it difficult to enjoy being right on the river. The chairs outside had a lot of cracked legs but overall it was a nice getaway.

House was perfect for us (5 adults, 2 kids). Clean and everything worked. We did have one problem that popped up mid-visit but property manager got it fixed right away. One of the best VBRO stays that we have had.

Nice place on the river
This is on the perfect spot for a stay on the river. Although the house is older, it is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen provided enough space to cook for eight. All appliances worked. A big table provided space for boardgames and puzzles. The real treasure of this place is it's setting on the river. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing, beautiful views
We loved the property and the river views! The house was perfect for the 7 of us to enjoy our thanksgiving, and the kids loved all the outside space and foosball table. The weather was chilly but that didn’t stop us from kayaking down the river! We plan to book again for the summer so we can float the river!

Great at Guadalupe
A very relaxing and quiet stay. Near enough to San Antonio and New Braunfels (wedding in NB) but secluded enough for quiet. A few kayakers. Would be fun to come and do that sometime. we only had two vehicles but 3 would definitely max out the parking area. So glad we picked this property.

It's a great property with a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and everything you need to have a great stay. The deck is huge and well-lit for nighttime games or dinner out. Easy access to the river with chairs to carry down as well. Nice place!

Great Location
We enjoyed our stay at the property. Having someone rush onto the property on early Tuesday to take trash cans to curb which we entirely planned on taking out Tuesday evening was a bit unnerving.
The house itself needed some work, with cracks in the tile and damage to some walls.
Also, the back deck and stairs didn’t look like they had been swept in awhile. There was also a pair of shorts and trash under the beds.

This was our tenth stay at this wonderful house. Direct river access. Room to spread out. A responsive management team with SkyRun. Improvements every year. All these make our annual stay a delight.

Great Stay!
The property location was great which is what was the most important! Great spot on the water, with a shallow area perfect for kids swimming and some nice deep areas to swim in. Plenty of dishes, utensils, pots/pans, blender and really everything you need! Washer and dryer was nice to! The only down side is the sliding door leading out to the porch water/gets stuck and was a pain to open. Other than that it was perfect. We enjoyed cooking dinner each night, used the BBQ pit and sat down at the nice big table, perfect for 8 adults.

We loved this house! Everything was super easy. One of the cleanest places I've ever rented. I wish there would have been more toliet paper/paper towels but everything else was amazing. Great water location.

Clean, Straightforward, and Easy
Our stay was a breeze for us. Check-in/check-out was simple, the property management company was quick and helpful, and the house was clean. Only very minor things were noticed but not even worth docking a star (cracked tile in the upstairs bathroom, labels on measuring cup were rubbed off, backyard gate door was somewhat difficult to unlock).

40th Birthday Celebration
We had a blast for my 40th birthday celebration. We enjoyed eating out on the deck and having drinks by the water. We weren’t far from the town of Gruene and enjoyed an afternoon of shopping and eating.

Location Wonderful But Property Deteriorating
Owner is surely not aware of of the deterioration of the property. Management is doing poor job for owner. Broken furniture, cobwebs inside and out. Rusted out vents and bathroom cabinetry everywhere. Electrical outlets not working. Dirty garage fan in bedroom which already had a ceiling fan. Could not see out the windows because of the dirt and cobwebs. Cleaning lady (on property when we arrived at our designated check in time) did perfunctory cleaning. Food crumbs on furniture and floor. Stains on carpet throughout. Backed up septic system which caused toilet overflow in 2 bathrooms a few hours after our arrival. Fortunately, this was taken care of shortly after we reported problem. Thank you SkyRun. Glass shards on patio left over from table top which was broken before we arrived. We had an infant in our party so this was a concern for us. Top was replaced within a day of our arrival. The river access is wonderful. The location is beautiful. Property could not be appreciated because of the condition of the house itself. Our family has stayed at various VRBO properties, including one in Mexico. This is the worst property we been in which is truly a shame given the property's potential.

We loved this property.
It was way more impressive than we thought it would be. Very spacious house and the backyard view was amazing. The 2 back patios we great and everything we could need was provided.
The beds were very comfortable and clean, there was plenty of fans throughout the house and they all worked great. Lots of seating provided which was great for our party of 8.
Going down to the water was a bit rough for our baby but nothing crazy. The bonfire pit that was by the water was great and the water access was perfect for the little ones.
All in all everything was FANTASTIC.
We do recommend that you bring plenty of mosquito repelentes, the property has the tiki torches out back which work great for the night but those little buggers are relentless lol.
We will definitely be back next year.

Nice property
Had a enjoyable, relaxing stay with my sisters here. Because we are neatniks we were worried about previous reviews saying it was dirty and the bed upstairs was uncomfortable. But we did not find this to be the case at all. Property was clean, all beds were comfortable, and the toilet seat that people mentioned in other reviews had been replaced. Beautiful location. Plenty of room to spread out. We had just four of us, but could have had several families easily. I docked one star because wifi doesn't work and umbrella was broken, and though owner responded immediately to my initial report, there was no follow up. Luckily we didn't need to use a laptop or tablet, but we did have to use our data. Overall a great place and would stay here again!

Great house directly on river with shallow beach
This house sits on the Guadalupe river. There is a wonderful beach on the water's edge, made up of long rocks. This area was perfect for the toddler in our family. She could walk and play without fear of deep water. The middle of the river was deeper and the older children enjoyed playing. The water was cold, but felt great in August!
The house had all essentials and lots of extras- including air pump for tubes, noodles, fishing poles, etc. There was an extra fridge in the garage, which was very convenient for holding extra food.
The four bedrooms were spacious. The house has two small living rooms, but this allows for separation within the home. The home has a deck and an outdoor eating area. This area is private and unique. Based on the deck, shallow beach, and sloping yard, this house is absolutely the best in the area!
