Great view, loved the fireplace and all the wood provided. It’s wonderful to have laundry facilities and a full kitchen on vacation.

The house was in a great location! The view was to die for! We had a great stay!

Loved the location! Very quiet and peaceful. We fully enjoyed the fireplace each night! So glad the owners let it be enjoyed. The house was clean, and the view was beautiful! The kitchen had mostly everything we needed to cook.

The view is amazing! The house was bigger than I expected. The kitchen is good-sized. Water pressure and temperature was really good!

Clean, walking distance to 2 beaches, all we needed in kitchen and bathroom and pet friendly. A fantastic stay!

Lovely quiet little place with an ocean view. Cozy and clean

The outside has seen better days, however, the inside was fabulous, nicely beachy decor. Good size kitchen. And the fireplace was amazing for chilling in the evening. Great for a couple getaway or three people could work for two couples but would be less comfortable. Loved having the garage to park in when stormy. No problem with check in. Very clean. Bring folding chairs to sit outside, your own spices and coffee with filters and creamer and you will have a great stay! Pick the bed that is best for you one is firm and one is medium softness. I slept super well! Walk around town, relax and rejuvenate! We had a wonderful stay!

The location of this house was amazing. It was a close walk to a couple of lovely beaches and some wonderful restaurants in a quiet, friendly town.

The house was very cute and comfortable and had a great view of Humbug Mountain and the ocean. Very short walk down to the beach, and great little hub for going north or south on the coast. Our only complaint would be that there were only 3 towels for 6 people. Otherwise we would highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful! We’d like to stay there again.

We were hoping to stay an extra day because this served our purpose of detoxing from the stress and other negative distractions. What a comfortable place to stay and unwind.
All of the dishware and utensils were clean and all we needed was food to cook; easy to do at Ray’s Food Place.
All in all a great experience - the only negative, wish we could’ve extended it one more day.

Enjoyed our time in this home with spectacular view of the Port Orford coastline.

This house seems even nicer than pictured. We loved the view out the window, overlooking the ocean, and that dogs are welcomed into the home. Be prepared with your own cooking supplies as there is not much there other than pots and pans, but that is to be expected.
You can walk to the beach right from the house and the neighborhood is quiet.

The location and view are amazing for this little coastal community. The fire was nice to have and plenty of firewood was provided. The kitchen was sufficient, but could use a restock of basic utensils. The beds are pretty firm. Bathroom had lots of towels but only one soap, shampoo and conditioner for 6 people. We’d stay again, but would bring some extra items like wine glasses and toiletries.

We loved the ocean view and closeness to the beach was excellent. The house was very clean but the furniture was worn out and uncomfortable. The pot and pans need to replaced with new ones as they were very scratched and black coating coming off. Dishes were chipped. The Vacasa team was very responsive when issues arose like the code was wrong needed a new to get in the place.. They need to fix the smoke alarm as its hanging down from the ceiling not sure it works. The second bedroom bed is hard a s rock so a new mattress is in order. We did stay a few days longer most because of the view and beach.

Could not have asked for a better location. The home has gorgeous views of the coast and it is just a quick 2 minute walk to the beach. The house itself was comfortable for the most part. Kitchen appliances were a little finicky - the stove was kind of difficult to operate, the oven tended to set the smoke alarm off, and the coffee maker did not work. But the amazing location - and friendly neighbors - made up for it. Wish we'd had more time to spend here. Would definitely return - Port Orford was peaceful and lovely.

While it was a roof over my head and it had indoor plumbing and bath, it has the worst furniture ever. The couch is this lumpy spring in your bottom with a bar at the top that makes your back kinda 'c' shape forward. There was a smaller version. That had a mattress trow cover over it that also snowed on the floor after sitting on it. There was one other chair in the living area that was somewhat comfortable but it was old and the fabric on the arm was ripping. The dining table had at least 2 of the 4 chairs falling apart. I leaned back in the first one and felt and heard the glue starting to separate so I switched chairs and as I was packing up I pulled out the other chair to see the bottom slide forward on its base. The bed was very comfortable. The vew was beautiful. Would have been nice to have access to a garage remote for access vs having to walk up the road to the entrance on the side. Oh and there were chips in most of the coffee cups and plates. Might be time to upgrade some of the inside stuff. But it was clean and well decorated!

This was a beautiful house right on the beach! Absolutely stunning views & an easy walk down to the water. Close to everything, almost walking distance. The weather was stunning and the decor in the house was so cute. Lovely waking up to the beach every morning.

The house is fairly close to the walk to the ocean. Close to good restaurants.

We absolutely loved the location of Admiral's Landing given its proximity to long stretches of beautiful beaches and the quaint town all within walking distance! We never once drove our car and enjoyed a most relaxing stay.
The home was exceptionally clean and the views afforded from the front windows were stunning.
So nice to be able to bring our dog! Our only minor objection was no yard, but we quickly adapted.
The parking area makes for an excellent sunning spot so outdoor seating and amenities would really add some value to visitors.
Overall a delightful trip!

Walking distance to the beach. Restaurant right around the corner and as quiet as it gets. Nice place to kick back and the view out the living room window is priceless !!

The house was very clean. Absolutely stunning view from dining room. The living room furniture are absolute torture devices. They are terrible.
No heat when we arrived, we tried a fire in the fire place, it took all evening to feel heat and the house filled up with smoke, really bad, had to open doors and windows. Wood is our source of heat at home so we are very familiar with how to operate the fire place. Turned out the furnace control had dead batteries, once we bought batteries we had good heat. BRING PILLOWS!!! The ones provided in both bedrooms are horrible and dirty. Kitchen is very sparsely stocked, we managed but cooking was a challenge.
The next door neighbor threatened to shoot my dogs, they were in the front area of or house, apparently past renters let their dogs on his property. FYI: There is not a yard area or space on the property for your fur babies. No place for them to poop or be, not appropriate for larger dogs.
We had a wonderful time and we were at the house for a week. Oh and the BbQ in the pictures does not work. There were 4 adults 50+

Great location, nice home. Loved the views. Furnishings were comfortable. Please take seriously comments about cleaning the entry and managing the landscaping. The property makes a terrible first impression for what is otherwise a nice place to stay.

Wonderful view, the place was nice and clean, and had a nice fireplace for the extremely windy, stormy weekend.

First the good. You can't beat the view...it is awesome. We enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table in the morning and watching the ocean. And we loved being able to walk to just about anything in town. Highly recommend the Crazy Norwegian! But now for the not so good. Place was clean, with apparently new appliances, but in need of some other upgrades and maintenance. The walkway to the front door was overgrown and potentially dangerous in the dark so we chose to walk up the road..which is a ways from the driveway especially when you have a bunch of luggage. There is a garage, which would have made getting in the house super easy, but we were not given access. The outside of the house looks somewhat rundown...in need of paint or cleaning or both. Some things inside were broken when we got there...including the smoke detector hanging from the ceiling and a broken faucet handle. My husband actually went to the hardware store and got a part to fix the faucet. But probably the biggest disappointment was the almost complete lack of usable cookware. Most of the small and VERY limited pots/pans looked like they were salvaged from the wreck of the Titanic. The coatings/teflon were peeling, scratched and chipping off and they just looked unsafe to eat food out of. They weren't very functional either. It's not like we needed to cook a huge feast, and we weren't expecting fancy cookware, but one of the reasons you rent a house is so you can cook some of your own food...as least for us it is. Some larger pots and skillets and a couple baking pans would be helpful. The most useful thing they had (luckily) was an electric skillet. We were also expecting a grill because one was pictured in their listing. There was NOT a grill that we could find which threw a wrench in our plan to cook fresh seafood. Trying to cook a live crab in an electric skillet was an interesting new experience. Living room furniture is functional, but not comfy. Since we couldn't figure out how to get the tv to work (no instructions) we didn't spend much time there anyway. Finally, they could really use some lawn chairs or small table or something outside to sit on. With such a beautiful view and weather, it was a shame to not be able to sit outside. This would go from an "ok" place to a "great" place if they put a little more thought into making guests feel comfortable and welcome.

The bathroom smells constantly, like someone just laid linoleum over soiled, moldy, stanky underlayment.
The shower is tiny and the stanky toilet is stuck in a little closet like area, taking away from a otherwise nice house.

The location to the boat ramp is ideal. WHAT A VIEW!!

This home is in a great spot, you can walk everywhere and enjoy a great view out the front windows. The outside of the house and property looks abandon, wouldn’t take too much to pull some weeds and clean it up. The beds and pillows are not comfortable at all and the kitchen could use a few things like wine glasses. I will rate it just ok.

Inside of house was great but the yard was over grown and need some work.

It was clean, spacious and in a great location.

The view was amazing, the yard needs maintenance terribly and you couldn’t sit on the furniture. We had to sit on kitchen chairs instead of the furniture because it was so worn out and uncomfortable. But the views were just beyond words.

Lovely View and Easy Access to Beach
The house was comfortable and close to everything. Wonderful view and quiet area where we could just relax. I also appreciated the immediate response from the property manager when I emailed her. Loved the kitchen.

The good & the not-so-good
The house was clean & nicely decorated. Heat was comfortable.
To begin with, we found the wrong lockbox. There are 2 & we almost called the fire dept. Our son finally spotted the right lockbox which we hadn’t noticed so we were able to get in.
The futon is uncomfortable & not fit to sleep on.
Please don’t use awful nylon sheets!
Pans in kitchen were disgraceful. We bought a new one.
A larger kitchen table would have been welcome.
Water a few degrees hotter would be safer in this age of Covid. Barely hot enough for a shower, but adequate.
Everything worked fine. There was only one comfortable chair. Couldn’t use faux leather one.
The view is priceless!
