Wonderful condo-we've stayed here many times. Everything was perfect.
4.6
Very nice , pet friendly accommodations. Beach front wit great views and beach access!
4.6
We enjoyed the views both inside and out with the ocean as our backyard.
4.6
Great location. Kitchen well appointed (some stove top cleaner would be nice) Nicely decorated. Appreciated the couch covers as we do that at home with our dog to protect our furniture. Front deck is the best. So appreciate to be able to bring our dog with us.
4.6
Well-equipped pet friendly condo with wonderful ocean views.

Property was amazing, convenient, on the beach, fun.

The view is fantastic but I was not impressed with the maintenance.
As soon as we arrived one of the toilets overflowed. I texted the number and they said they would take care of it. I used a plunger I found to try to get it going and spent a while on that. Found out from the maintenance person that this was a known issue and a plumber was supposed to come but had not. The next day was Sunday so nothing happened. The plumber came Monday and said he fixed it. Later that day it over flowed again. So, one of the toilets was not working and never was fixed. What is disheartening is that they knew about it prior to our arrival and hadn't fixed it and the people coming after us will have the same problem.
The other problem was the beeping refrigerator. This required two visits by the maintenance folks and also was not fixed. Every night at least once I was awakened to the sound of the beeping and had to press a button on the fridge to make it stop. The first maintenance guy said it was because the fridge needed a filter. The second guy said that wasn't the problem. Needless to say this was also an ongoing and never resolved issue during our 4 days there.
I got a call half way through our stay from Misty who said they will "compensate" us for the problems but have not heard back and the chatGPT text thing won't give me her number!
4.6
Place was clean. The only suggestion would be to replace the mattresses and upgrade the toilets.

We very much enjoyed our stay on this property. The views are just fantastic. I don't know if it was due to the time of year, but it is also very quiet. It is roomy and bright and clean. The kitchen was well stocked as far as tools, pans, etc. It was a nice surprise as we cooked most of our meals during our stay. The sun room is lovely to have morning coffee. The balcony is also nice to enjoy the evenings. We were very happy that we found this property to stay for the week and will return for many years to come. We definitely recommend.
4.6
Property matched description and pictures. It could have used some additional deep cleaning of furniture and rugs. Some bugs appeared in evening as in cabinets.

We fully enjoyed our stay at this property. We have been staying at Kiawah 3 bedroom rentals for over 30 years and this is one of the most well kept, comfortable properties we have stayed at. The views of the beach are amazing and created a relaxing atmosphere the entire time we were there. The kitchen is set up in such a nice organized way and obviously set up by people who cook. My family appreciated the organization and fact that everything we needed was there! Also it is so nice to have a dog friendly rental!
4.6
Almost perfect! Really needs an upgrade on the TV! Very challenging to navigate and the remotes were literally taped together. The furniture could also use a refresh- especially the bar stools!

My wife and I with our two dogs spent 60 days this last winter here. This was after 30 days in January 2022. Coming from the Midwest it is the perfect escape from the heavy winter.
The property is as described in the details as you will find plenty of room for up to 6 easily. The furnishings are a bit worn considering the price point but comfortable enough.
The views are what we come back for and what we are returning for in 2024. There is simply no way to describe in any sufficient manner how relaxing the ocean front can be.
If there is one issue we have it is the service time when issues do present themselves. The property managers are short staffed and that always leads to disappointment.
Again, the price that is negotiated should reflect the service you should expect.
And yes, the 33 steps up and down into the unit are indeed
there however the view is worth it.
4.6
The view and access to the beach is truly unbeatable. So thankful the property is accepting of dogs because they loved it just as much as us!
The property is definitely in need of touch ups and maintenance but we more than enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

We have stayed in this condo for many years because the view is spectacular sunrise to sunset. Worth climbing those stairs to get in. It is a comfortable place with the exception of the beds in the double room which are sunken in the middle. It’s great to have the sunroom and deck as additional sitting areas so the group can spread out. Easy walk from the beach and great that it’s close to The Nest which is new.

This our 3rd stay in a Mariners Watch villa. This is our least favorite unit and the most we’ve paid for our weekly stay. I think the photos were taken a few years ago and its time for a little TLC. The paint/walls are peeling cracking, the vents rusty and some of the vents falling. The screen on the fireplace falling and in need of a vacuum. The master tub drain needs to be cleared. I would not let my kids sit on the carpet. The TV’s are older (not smart) and there was no Keurig coffee machine. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen adequate and the view amazing. We’ll be back to Mainers Watch, but unfortunately not this unit.

A very comfortable and tastefully furnished beach villa decorated in the coastal style . Breathtaking views of Kiawah Island's beautiful ocean . It's simply an amazing place to stay !

This large condo has a beautiful view of the ocean. We especially loved the bright, comfortable sunroom. Highly recommend!
4.6
It is a resort area and was disappointed only 2 parking passes were allowed. Keep in mind that this is a sandy, humid environment. There was some moisture damage around the vents. Regardless, we loved it and would stay again.

Had a great time location is great and view of ocean from deck is awesome. 4 star because unit is in need of some repairs but the cleaning people said that was getting ready to happen. Overall very happy with rental. Would recommend.

Wow, can't get any better!
We just returned from a lovely stay at Mariner's Watch. This rental had everything! The best part was the incredible view! easy access to a clean and private beach. Well-stocked kitchen and plenty of room for my family. If you are thinking of renting this property....do not hesitate! worth every penny!

Great property in need of updates which I am told will occur in April 2022. Wonderful stay with your pups; but not so easy for the elderly or young children as there are a lot of steep stairs to access the unit. Loved dealing with property manager - very attentive and responsive!

Good things-We found this unit to be very comfortable and the view is absolutely wonderful! Everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed (except Saran wrap or foil- no biggie). There is easy access to the beach. There is a small general store about 1 mile away and a Harris Teeter (that delivers via Shipt about 3 miles away). The Alligator bike place will deliver bikes to your door and pick them up when you want- all arranged online. There are tons of bike trails and riding on the beach is permitted.
Loved the dog bowls and the painting of dogs on the wall above the bowls.
Not-so-good things-The unit is on the 2nd floor but because the first floor is high, it feels like the 3rd floor so if you don’t like stairs, it will be a problem.
There was definitely some wear and tear, like peeling paint. The bathrooms could use updating and the master bath had a strange smell. The key took a lot of jiggling to work.
If you have an EV, good luck. There is no where to plug one in and no public charging stations on Kiawah Island. We had to drive 25 minutes, park our car to charge it overnight, take an Uber back to the rental and take another Uber to our car the next day. There are only 2 fast chargers in all of Charleston.
We could not find any restaurants that deliver food.
We loved this place anyway and would stay again (and maybe bring a different car).

We stayed for 3 weeks and really enjoyed the condo. Very dog friendly and clean. The views can't be beat! We have booked again for next year. The kitchen is well stocked and the furniture is adequate--could be a little more comfortable, but other than that, we loved our time here.

The views were amazing. Kitchen was perfect with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans and an empty pantry for storage. There was an extra microwave on the counter, which took up space and defunct one above the stove, which meant we had no light or vent for the stovetop.
Layout was good with plenty of room for spreading out. Really enjoyed the sunroom for our yoga sessions. Back porch was nice to hang out on when not at the beach. Loved that they put out dog bowls (one with water!) for our pups. Walkways to the beach were very convenient. Condo was clean but a bit worn as there was peeling paint in several areas. Really wanted to open a window facing the ocean, but the handles were removed. The master bath could really use a sky light as it's a long walk to light switch and the toilet. Wish we could have figured out how to turn off the front porch light as it disturbed the front bedroom sleeper. Never found the switch and the window shade was not adequate to block the light. Beds weren't bad, but not a fan of memory foam.
All in all a nice space with plenty of natural light in the rooms facing the ocean.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

The unit is right on the beach and close to The Sanctuary. The managers checked in with us as needed. Great experience! Sure was helped by seventy degrees in December!
