Big dead bug and lots of dirt underneath the couch cushions and mold on the inside shower curtain.

Our stay at the Winter Park Retreat was great for two families. Location is fantastic as it's right on the bus route and walkable to restaurants. The unit is spacious and updated. Long dining table for family dinners. Extra parking is nearby. Host responds quickly. I would recommend this property to others and we would stay here again.

Celebrating my son’s college graduation was super easy at Sarah and Derek’s condo. It had everything we needed and plenty of space for everyone! Thanks for a great getaway!!

We had a great stay at this property. It easily accommodated our combination of 3 families with kids. It's a great location in the middle of Winter Park - short drive to the base of the mountain and short walking distance to restaurants, shops and bars. The condo is very nicely appointed and has a great layout for multiple families.

This townhome worked out great for our family. Big kitchen & eating area to hang out and prepare meals together. We found ourselves hanging out at the kitchen table after dinner playing games, etc. Kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and then some! Big family room with lots of seating. Perfect location mid town Winter Park with free Lyft shuttle bus stop a block away. The shuttle bus is great moving people north and south through Winter Park and Fraser to and from the ski resort coming every 20-30 minutes. Sarah was great with her response on all our questions. I highly recommend this place for any large family who enjoys all the comforts of home while on vacation.

The townhouse was extremely comfortable and well appointed. A large kitchen and big dining table for all the guests. The location is excellent. It is within easy walking distance to the bus stop to Winter Park Resort (we were there during the ski season). Sarah is a terrific host who wants to make sure that all goes well for her guests. She contacted us and made sure that we knew she was available if we had any questions or concerns.

The house was nice and had a beautiful view. Got plenty of exercise with all the stairs, was better after getting acclimated. Had a few issues that got resolved with Sarah's help. We enjoyed our stay very much . Only issue I might have had is would've loved to have had a closet in master bedroom to hang clothes. Everything was conveniently located to the house. Looking forward to our next visit to colorado. Thanks Sarah and Derek for your hospitality.

Started with a few hi-cups, but Sarah took care of it!!
Nice place, great stay. There were a few hi-cups with cleaning to begin with. But was taken care of as quick as possible and to our satisfaction. Sarah was gracious and communicated above and beyond! We were grateful.

In search of a moose
Comfortable, generously stocked, beautifully appointed condo in great location. Layout is perfect with living/kitchen/dining on the middle floor, bedrooms are up and downstairs. We had a minor issue that Sarah and Derek took care of quickly; they followed up to make sure the situation was handled. They were friendly and a pleasure to work with. Saw lots of moose prints on our hikes, but alas… seeing one would have made this trip perfect-plus. Thanks for a lovely stay, Sarah and Derek.

As advertised
We enjoyed our stay and found the townhouse was equipped with all the necessary amenities. We were not a fan of the base board heating system. There were numerous thermostats throughout the different floors but often the actual temp was 5 degrees or so different. Another family stayed at a Red Quill next door with the same results. It wasn’t a dealbreaker.
I would like to mirror Stephens comments of 03/21 about VRBO. I had not used VRBO for a year and now find they have charged a $xx damage deposit. Another way for them to extract more $ from your wallet. I didn’t want to pay it so allowed vrbo to hold $xxxx (mid four figure) as a damage deposit. It has been two weeks and they still have my $4k. They don’t make it easy to contact them. LG Carlson

Great townhome in a perfect location!
Our group of four couples stayed in the townhome for a week of skiing. With the four bedrooms and four bathrooms everyone had their own rooms and privacy. We spent time around the large table for meals and visiting. It is a short walk to the bus stops as well as restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Winter Park CO
Six of us stayed very comfortably in this unit for skiing at Winter Park. The unit is large and well furnished. It is easy to get to and we walked to a couple restaurants nearby. We took the bus back and forth to the mountain each day. They are running reduced service this year because of the lack of drivers, so there were some waits and crowded buses. The app helped timing the buses. I would definitely recommend staying at this unit. It was very comfortable and a great value.

Excellent Rental
We found the location to be perfect to get to all the activities available in Winter Park.
Owner was very responsive to any inquiries and their communication skills are top notch.
We had 9 adults and two children and the accommodations worked well for us.
Condo was clean and everything seemed to work fine. The adults who stayed in the basement bedroom and daybed did say it is loud down there from everyone going up and down the many stairs in the condo.
Overall we would highly recommend this rental and would stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

The owners were very helpful.. We did have a few issues with our stay. The kitchen floor was extremely dirty, garage was full of garbage when we arrived, and the tv broke while we were there.
They were able to help with all concerns.

The property was perfect for our family of 7. Enough room to spread out and enough room to congregate. The condo is in the center of Winter Park and within easy walking distance of many restaurants, activities and trails. The free bus service is easily accessible but we didn’t use it because walking was just as easy. The hosts Derek and Sarah were easy to work with and very attentive to our needs. We had a slight issue at check-in which was taken care of immediately and did not effect our stay nor does it effect our recommendation of this property for anyone looking for a great rental. We would definitely rent this property in the future!

All around great condo
This was a superb property. Great layout which gave each family group their own private space. Hey, I needed the exercise from all those stairs! The kitchen was wellstocked with extras of cutlery, cooking utensils, and dishes. All appliances were full size. Plenty of hot water, even with 4 teenagers. The location was superb, walking distance to the whole town. Great access to the Fraser River Trail hike and bike trail.

I didn't want to think about a review until our account was settled; i.e. received the deposit. But Vrbo says this is my last day to say anything!Being my first time using Vrbo, I was disappointed by a couple administrative things. After seeing the price (!), fees, taxes, etc., I was surprised that then I had to choose either thousands beyond the original deposit, or $79 for insurance. At that point it was just a drop in the bucket, but was aggravating. Then when the website wasn't responding and I couldn't tell if the reservation worked, I waited an hour on the phone to find out! They claimed it was an unusually bad day.The unit itself was very nice; lots of room for our seven. Kitchen has two entry/exits, so no bottlenecks with everybody coming & going. Enjoyed the gas fireplace in the living area. Large table kitchen sat us all nicely. Laundry was convenient on the top floor where most of the bedrooms are.The whole unit was comfortably warm; the owner explained how the upstairs can get extra warm and how to adjust thermostats, etc.The garage was available for one car. Space right outside the garage for another. Convenient!Wi-fi didn't work the first two days; everybody was antsy, wanting their screens. Comcast came our second morning there, so we had it our last day. Owner was very responsive, and concerned about getting it fixed, but that was the biggest disappointment. It was a little awkward to have the owner ask (a week before) to come get skis out of a closet at 8:00 in the morning. Near the front door, but in the room a teen was sleeping. How do you say no to helping someone ski; but at the time we agreed, didn't know it was right where someone would be sleeping.Overall, it's a very nice place, and could have comfortably held a few more than our seven. I would come again, if they would have me, maybe trying to avoid Spring Break pricing.

Ski trip for 11
We had two families traveling together, 11 people total. The sleeping accommodations we’re perfect! All of the beds and furniture were very comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is to get a second or larger hot water heater. Sarah, the owner, was very kind and speedy to get back with me. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, room for improvement
This was our experience..
1. The house was nice but the furniture in the living needs to be cleaned. We found crumbs, a penny, and a wrench in the cushions when look for the remote control. The oven did not always light, which explained the matches in the drawer next to the stove. The fridge pops open when you close the fridge. The carpet was a bit crunchy in the top floor bedrooms. Also we let the owners know there was a lot of ice on the front steps and asked where the salt was located. We were concerned someone would slip and fall. Owner said the HOA takes care of it and left it at that. We had to go out and get our own salt to ensure there were no accidents. Overall minor inconveniences.
2. The top floor bathtub faucet did not work, in fact the handle was broken off. We let the owners know the first evening we arrived and was told they would have someone out as soon as possible. So in the meantime, all of the kids had to use the other bathrooms in the house for their nightly showers. The bathtub was not fixed until the night before we left.
3. I would suggest taking a video of home inventory to provide evidence it is there upon your departure. The Alexa that stayed high up on the counter (where none of the kids could reach it) our whole stay suddenly went missing soon after we ended our visit. The owner offered to not put a claim in and just charge us for half the cost. When we pushed back and insisted they file a proper claim; they miraculously found the Alexa in the bedroom nightstand of all places.

Great location that met all our needs!
Great location convenient to downtown Winter Park with easy access to restaurants, groceries, and activities. The communication with the owner and check-in/out were a breeze. We had to extend our stay by one day because of a canceled flight and they worked with us to make that happen which we very much appreciated! The condo was very clean, nicely decorated, exactly as advertised and met all of our needs. The five flights of stairs definitely kept us in shape. With the drastic change in elevation for us, we got quite winded going up and down the stairs so much - but exercise is a good thing! (If stairs are a problem for you though, you might want to reconsider.) We cooked in several times and all the extras in the kitchen were very handy. Thank you Sarah for sharing your home with us - we loved it!

Incredible property and in a perfect spot!
Incredible property and in an excellent part of WP as well. Just a few minutes from the ski resort and multiple tubing spots. Plenty of sleeping space(we easily slept 10). Was incredible in every aspect outside of there being a lot of dog hair(was wearing black and my clothes were absolutely covered after I sat down the first time in the living room)
