Nice apartment closer to the Bolzano station

We were looking for a one-night stay close to Bolzano station on our last day of the Dolomites trip. We were very satisfied with the stay. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and clean. It was only a 10-minute walk from the station. The owner was very responsive and gave us very clear instructions for the check-in.

The apartment is on the third floor (for non-Americans, that’s the second floor, but you get the point :)), and it was a bit of trouble for us to carry the luggage (we had two large suitcases) upstairs without an elevator.

A spot on accommodation for your visit to beautiful Bolzano

Matteo and Claudia were accommodating and helpful for the visit to Bolzano. They communicated well and provided clear instructions to the check-in and the parking arrangements. The amenities were spot on and the space was well appointed.

Good location! Will return!

Very good location right in the middle of town. 6 min walk from train station. Owners were friendly and easily contactable via WhatsApp. Self check in was easy and hassle free. Luggage storage before check in was a plus too!

Central but relaxing breakaway

The Sonnenuhr Apartment was absolutely what we wanted. A lot of space and big windows with a decent kitchen and a dining area. The nice balcony with a view over the mountains was an absolute bonus and can only be a pleasure during the warmer months. It felt like all the areas were newly renovated and very clean, with some luxurious touches to the bathroom. There was wood for the fireplace which is also a luxury in Europe in general. The location is the best it can be, being walking distance from most important places. We felt very safe and the instructions was clear and simple to follow, yet communication went smooth and uncomplicated. Especially for couples, a must to visit. We’ll be back!

Exceptional

Huge, clean studio apartment in downtown Bolzano! Fantastic location! Great communication with the hosts who were very accommodating. We arrived by car and took advantage of the reserved parking space in the hotel parking lot behind the apartment. Reading the checkin directions before arriving was important, as the front door of the apartment is in a “pedestrian only” zone. As a result, we drove to the front entrance of the parking garage (Google maps helped a lot with the one-way streets) and one of us went to get the apartment/garage keys (~200m walk through the parking garage and the back of the hotel) while the other stayed with the car. Once we were parked, we moved bags in relatively easily. I’ll stay there again in a second when I go back to Bolzano.

First time ever my expectations were exceeded!

+ Ideal location, smack right in the centre + very short walk from the train station + No-hassle access (no keys, just keypads, no need to meet or bother hosts or drop off keys) + Very large apartment, even bigger in reality than in pictures + Comfortable beds + Modern bathroom with proper shower and actual water pressure + Well-equipped kitchen + Affable, helpful and proactive hosts

The only thing I can think of that may be an issue to some travellers: - there is NO LIFT / ELEVATOR in the building, you need to go up the stairs and carry your luggage yourself
