About this apartment rental

This property, known as "Spirit Of Endeavour" is a studio apartment overlooking the glorious Sandy Bay in Gibraltar, it has a private balcony, sleeps two people and has it own kitchen and bathroom. The property benefits from air conditioning, full UK TV channels and wi-fi.

The studio is tastefully decorated and constantly maintained, the beds are two singles but they push and lock together if required. Dining is inside or out on the balcony which is sunlit from dawn till early evening when the sun slips behind the rock to give some much needed shade in the summer months.

Situated on the east side of the rock it has unparalleled sea views and is set aginst the dramatic backdrop of the mighty rock of Gibraltar. Access to the town area is a ten minute bus ride from a bus stop practically outside the door.

Spirit Of Endeavour is the ideal location for couples looking for that well deserved break, with peace and tranquility, ( all you can hear are the waves on the breakwater) with easy access to the hustle and bustle of town, with its multitude of restaurants and bars for you to choose from.

Its also the ideal location from which to discover Spain's Andalucia region with its stunning scenery and vibrant cities.

A lovely studio apartment in a great location. Sandy Bay is a fabulous beach on the Eastern side of the Rock. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds and a great shower plus a balcony to watch the sun come up and go down. Even saw dolphins just outside the breakwater from the balcony. This was a return to Gib, where we met 40 years ago, and we had the best time. Would recommend the apartment. Thanks Bob

Great location, bus stop is not much of a walk, was allowed to drop our bags off before check in time which was a bonus fantasic wine when we did check in. Will definitely come again

Great location 2nd time staying here. My favourite location to stay in Gibraltar. Nice views overlooking Sandy Bay. As always Bob makes the stay as easy and as comfortable as possible, always reachable, if needed. Thanks Bob ✨️

The place wasn't the easiest to find but as long as you follow the steps in the welcome pack you are provided it's no problem. Host was very welcoming, even provided a bottle of white wine for when we got in. The views from the balcony are stunning in the morning. Was a good place to stay having access to a motorcycle but it's worth noting you will have to bring change home if you want to get the bus in the morning. There where a few things that could have been better like providing something to clean dishes and mugs with and having instructions to where to empty the bin. There was a few broken things in the apartment like the bedside draws and the bathroom sink plug

Sandy Bay is our favourite place to stay in Gibraltar and Bob's place, with it's balcony overlooking the beach did not disappoint. We slept with the door open, listening to the sound of the waves, woke to amazing sunrises and breakfast on the balcony. It was so relaxing! The apartment had everything we needed, was very clean and nicely furnished. We cooked most of our meals there. The bus stop is nearby, we used it every day, it's regular and very cheap! It's not far to walk into town either. We had some lovely days out and returned in the evening to the balcony with a glass of wine ( thanks Bob! ) to watch the sun go down.

From start to finish the holiday was excellent. Was in touch with Bob, and on arrival found a nice cold bottle of wine in the fridge, went down a treat to end the first day there. The apartment was what it said in the advert, and the view from the balcony was excellent. The sea was calm and refreshing. The area felt very safe. Nice walk into town or a bus into town take your pick. Even got married in Gibraltar whilst we were there, it was planned before we left, so it made the holiday even more special. Looking forward to going back next year. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating from me.

A little gem with a short walk down steps to the beach. We enjoyed our stay, watching the ships at night, the sound of the waves were fantastic. Bob the host is a decent chap and easy deal with. Well worth the trip and if your looking to stay in Gibraltar.

Really nice location. Quiet and right on the beach. Spent most mornings and evenings dolphin watching. Easy transport round the rock. Apartment was great. Everything of a high standard. Perfect for a short break or a holiday. Bob is a fabulous host and was clear with all communication. He found us to give us the keys and made sure everything was there that we needed. I did tell him that if I could give 10* I would. Thank you 🙂

From the moment Bob showed us round the apartment we loved the location. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre and so peaceful at night with the sound of the ocean. Would highly recommend and we will be rebooking for another stay.

We stayed at Bobs for a month he was very helpful even to the fact he helped us carry our cases to the apartment. The apartment (a Studio) was lovely and we could not fault it. Bob was very helpful in every aspect.. If you enjoy a Beach Holiday you cannot fault this.

Fab property for a couple or 2 singles in a beautiful and quiet (out of season!) location. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities. The main area was a perfect size to use as a base. Nice patio area with unrestricted view across the sea. Convenient bus service into town and all around. The only downside was poor communication with the owner on how to locate and check in/get the keys. Luckily I have friends who live in one of the apartments so was able to use their key fob to get into the complex and the apartment had been left open. I would definitely come back. Often!!!

We had a great time. Bob was very helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay an enjoyable one. The bus service is excellent and will take you anyway for a couple of pounds. A good tip is to take a 10 minute walk to Catalan bay where you will find a great pub/, restaurant called Seawave, had great seafood there.

This is our 4th stay here. It always clean and comfortable. With a amazing views. Local bus stop outside into centre. Bus fares very cheap. There's a Morrisons or an Eroski supermarket which we preferred. Plenty of places to eat as well. You can even go into Spain. All in all a lovely place to stay.

This is a studio which had everything we needed, two comfy single beds ,good wifi ,air conditioning and shower over bath. The views though from the balcony would be hard to beat. The well kept beach is right down below and you can see the ships going through the straits of Gibraltar and of course the rock is at the side and rear . The town itself is on the other side of the rock and there is a regular bus service with a bus stop at the south end of the complex. There is a few resturants at Catalan bay a ten minute walk away. We will return next year hopefully staying for longer.
