Very enjoyable stay in a nice little town!

The owners were very helpful and welcoming. We were even invited to the town‘s seasonal celebration!

It was a bit of a walk to the property from the train station. The owner kindly gave us a ride there when we left, though!

Great stay in a great location.

Great location, near the centre of this large village. Good access to the river and lovely walks. The breakfast served in our room was excellent, more than sufficient for our needs. Our host went out of his way to help us.

There was nothing we would want to complain about, more than satisfied with our stay. We did have some rain but we were able to use the umbrellas provided. Sadly the web-known boulangerie was closed for holidays.

Exceptional

This place is just so lovely. I was sorry that my schedule only allowed me to stay one night. It was beautifully appointed and very peaceful. I didn't meet Madame who I'd communicated with in making the arrangements, but Monsieur was very welcoming and served an excellent breakfast!

Nothing I didn't like really.

Superb

Super nice place with kitchen and utensils. Cosy apartment and well located. We made a hike in the mountain and one day we took the train to Puigcerda. Great place and great hosts!

The mattress could be renewed in a while.

Welcoming, warm and cozy stay after a cold rainy day of walking !

The property looked quite lovely and we would liked to have stayed longer but we arrived in the evening and left early the next morning. The hosts were lovely, the room was great and I could see that it would be a wonderful base from which to explore the surroundings. Breakfast was a bonus, copious and delicious and the hosts were very accommodating in serving breakfast at the relatively early hour that we requested although we had said that we didn't want to trouble them. They also kindly gave us a lift to the train station which was much appreciated, it is walking distance but as it had snowed would have been quite cold and slippery and you have to walk on the side of the road. The room was nicely decorated, the bed comfortable, shower facilities clean and there was a small kitchenette which we didn't use. There was a fridge as well but it didn't seem to be on, perhaps if we were staying longer we might have needed it but since our stay was so short it was not an issue at all. Would highly recommend La Maison Carolane !! Just one thing to note if you do book is that the address is '7 bis' we accidentally rang the wrong doorbell because we didn't know that '7 bis' means the 2nd #7 house :)

Nothing, it was easy to get to from the train station, perhaps if you are arriving later( after sunset) you should bring a headlamp and not wear dark clothing as the road to get there seems to be the main road and so you want to make sure that drivers can see you. Although when we arrived after walking the 1.5km or so the hosts said that had they know they would certainly have picked us up which was very kind. So that may be an option.

We were picked up from the train Station by car which was very nice. The rooms is decorated very thoughtful and all our wishes were met.

The accommodation was excellent in all regards: the hosts were extremely welcoming, provided us with an excellent breakfast and even drove us to the train station early in the morning - simply wonderful! the room itself was really beautiful, the bed was comfortable and we felt at Home right away. thanks again!

Cosy & complete, perfect!

I had a great time at la maison Carolane. Every detail was taking care of. The room was cosy and comfortable and really every detail was thought of and taken care of. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Pyrenn ean perfection.

Charming room, comfortable and characterful. Immaculate throughout. The owners were very helpful in collecting us from the station (there are no taxis unless you prebook) and taking us back.The breakfast brought to our room was 5 *.

There are very few places to eat in the village.

Lovely quiet b&b.

Lovely room - beautiful furnishings & very comfortable bed. Quiet location in pretty, old village. River nearby for relaxing walks. Close to International train station at Enveitig -La Tor de Querol. Kind owner gave us a lift there & also arranged taxi in evening to local town.
