Love this place!!! 2nd year visiting. Comfortable house with everything you need. The location is the real treat. Great view, proximity to water and neighborhood for dog walking. Wish there was nightstand with light on both sides of bed and washer and dryer just "okay." Small concessions for this gem. Will return!!@!!

This cottage is amazing - everything about our stay was wonderful. Beautiful view; beautiful neighborhood. The cottage was perfect. It was just the two of us, but there is plenty of room for a few more guests. We had a lovely time. Highly, highly recommended!!!

We had a wonderful time, the weather was amazing! The location was perfect! This is a perfect place if you are into birding! We cooked in every night, the kitchen is well equipped! We had leisurely dinners and enjoyed the views and the company.

We really enjoy staying at this house during April vacation. Paine’s Creek beach is the best. Beautiful views of the marsh and sunrise from the new deck. There were 4 of us and we were very comfortable. It’s our 4th or 5th time staying here.

We were staying in Brewster to be with family during the Thanksgiving holiday. Very cute little bungalow, the colors are light and bright. I was able to host a cocktail party for the family which was lovely (all the items that were in kitchen accommodated our needs).
There are a few things that need some attention, in the half bath in master BR there needs to be a towel bar - no place to hang a hand towel or face cloth. It rained during our stay and the car was surrounded by water and very muddy. Because we were on a 3 week trip I needed to wash our cloths, which going down the basement is no big deal except the light was burned out and the area around washer and dryer needed to be cleaned.

Beautiful view from the living room and back deck.
The neighborhood was so pretty and Paines Creek just amazing.
We hit a rainy week but still enjoyed walking down to Paines Creek and up to Lower Rd and exploring locally.
Would definitely comeback.

Amazing vacation home steps to Paine’s Creek Beach. The home was spotless and much bigger than it looks from the outside. More than enough room for my family of 4. Spent time enjoying the quiet solitude of back deck listening to the birds. Great location, I only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

you truly could not find a house with a better location than this cute cottage. daneen made the whole process easy and seamless, from booking to check in / check out. we called her about a few things and she was attentive and accommodating to all our needs. the house was a littlee small as we were 6 adults staying, but we knew it probably would be going into it, and the location truly makes it worth it. so much so that we would love to rent this house every year that we return! thanks for an unforgettable stay, daneen!!

We really enjoyed our stay in your sweet Cape cottage! Great location and the view from the deck was lovely at all times of day. The deck was also great for bird watching especially in the morning. Paine’s Creek beach is never disappointing and it is the best place for sunsets!
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this lovely spot. Thanks Deneen!

Beautiful views of the marsh and ocean. A three minute walk to Paine’s creek, our favorite beach. We took a few days during April school vacation to come down and get our fix.

Wonderful location and property!
We were so grateful to find this listing after a cancellation! The house is nestled in a sweet neighborhood just a short walk from Paine's Creek beach, a fantastic coffee/cafe place, Kate's seafood and ice cream, and more. It was so wonderful to be able to put the kids in their strollers or carriers and do so much without the car. There are also substantial hiking trails a short drive away behind the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. The house was perfectly suited for our needs as two couples with two infants. It was nicely decorated, with a gorgeous view out over the marsh from the living room/deck. The host, Daneen, is communicative, responsive, and helpful! We would love to stay here again.

Great week at charming coastal cottage
What a great week at this well appointed cottage. Light, bright and with beautiful coastal decor it was a lovely seaside retreat. Open and spacious layout with large dining table with room for everyone to eat and work on a Cape Cod puzzle. Beautiful view of the bay and marsh from the back deck and living room—a perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee and watch the sunrise, boats in the distance, and listen to the birds. Private and peaceful location yet just a short walk to Paines Creek beach for the most incredible sunsets, and Mants Landing where we loved to look out to the bay and enjoy the waters at low and high tide. Easy check in and communication with the owner. An all around great week.

Family vacation
We stayed here our young family. The house was perfect: in a quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the beach, and great location to local attractions. The kids loved exploring the creek during low tide looking for sea creatures. The bay side beach at high tide is perfect for young ones who do not like waves.

Perfect family getaway
The house is clean, fresh, and beachy. Only a couple minutes walk to the best beach on the Cape for kids. The deck overlooks a marsh which is excellent for birdwatchers and the outdoor shower is just what you need after a day at the beach.

Perfect Cape Cod vacation
We had a wonderful week in Brewster. The location is great and the property and neighborhood are beautiful. The beach has a tidal river which is great for kids to play in. We loved walking out on the tidal flats during sunsets. On our last day, we did a whale watch charter and had an amazing time.

New favorite vacation spot
We had an incredible first trip to the Cape and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The house was adorable and had absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. The quick walk to Paine’s Creek Beach was perfect for early morning walks and hassle-free outings with the kids (2 and 5). Our favorite beach spot ended up being Flax Pond in Nickerson State Park. Great swimming beach and we rented a canoe to take the kids out on the lake. Overall it was an incredible vacation. Only regret is that we didn’t stay for two weeks, but there’s always next year!

Steps from the beach
Quaint beachy cottage perfect for 6 guests. The property is steps from the beach and located in the middle of the Cape making it easy to see multiple towns. Daneen and Jim responded very quickly and we're easy to work with.

Fantastic Vacation!
We had an amazing time in Cape Cod and this house was perfect for our needs. It sits in a nice, quiet neighborhood in a quaint town. The beach was so close it was easy for our 5 year old and 2.5 year old grandchildren to walk on their own. The view from the deck was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Great house, very comfortable stay
This was our first time staying in Brewster after a lifetime of summers at the cape. What a great town! The house was the perfect size for my husband and i and our 3 small kids. The kids loved finding crabs in the tidepools at the beach. The beach was a close walk although i was surprised that the view from the house is actually a five minute drive away and not easily accessible to walk to due to the marshy area in between. I thought for sure there would be a raised boardwalk but there wasn't. We really loved paines creek beach. The other 2 nearby beaches were great as well and parking is free after 4. It rained 3 days out of the 4 we were there but we still had a great time. I like that we were able to rent by the night rather than Saturday to Saturday - makes it easier with a busy work schedule and minimum vacation hours. We will definitely rent again. Thanks so much!!

Beautiful location
We were only in Cape Cod for two nights and wanted to stay in an authentic Cape Cod house (california native here). The location was absolutely beautiful- marshy area behind the house that entertained us with all the birds and a very short walk down the street to the beach.
Daneen was available via text when we had questions and was very responsive even though she was on her own vacation at the time. It rained the one full day we were there, and she offered a late check out to us so we could try and see some sights before leaving.
The house is very comfortable, more than enough seating for the four of us in the living area and at the dining table.
If we ever find ourselves in Cape Cod again, I would love to stay here again.

Fabulous location, lovely house
A quick and enjoyable walk to Paine's Creek Beach, a deck with an unbeatable view of the marshlands with birds and wildlife galore, everything we needed for in-home cooking in a clean and lovely home made our time at the Cape perfect. Highly recommended. We hope to return.

Relaxing beach vacation spot
My family and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The house is a great lay out and easily accommodated six adults. Everything we needed was at hand. The peaceful view from the rear of the house was wonderful. It is an easy walk to the beach. I have nothing but good things to say!

Amazing Vacation Home for My Family
This was our first vacation as a family and it was so amazing for my family. We were able to bring my 1 year old daughter and our dog and they both had so much fun. We were within walking distance to 2 beaches and they were perfect for our daughter since she could enjoy the shallow tide pools and we loved being so close to the beach. We could easily walk back for lunch or for nap time and we didn't have to get in a car. We also loved walking to Kates for ice cream or to Dunkin Donuts in the morning for a coffee. The location was great and the sunsets at the beach were breathtaking. As for the house we loved the open concept and our daughter loved walking around the house. The house was clean and had everything you needed. The rooms were spacious and it was great that they had extra beach chairs and floats that we could borrow. The back deck was great in the morning or after a day at the beach. It was so peaceful and felt so private back there. We really enjoyed our vacation and plan to go back it was so relaxing and amazing and we loved every minute of it. If you have a young family or just enjoy a lot of walking and being close to the beach this is the house for you!

Rave Reviews for this adorable cottage
What a fantastic time we had on our first visit to Cape Cod! The cottage was tastefully decorated in an understated coastal theme, and comfortably sleeps 6 people. The house was clean and well equipped, and we could see Cape Cod Bay from our back deck. Owners Jim and Daneen were very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some good ideas of places to visit and things to do. To be honest we didn't even switch on the TV while we were there as there was too much to see and do. We experienced walking on the sandbanks during the Blue Moon tide, went to the local Mediterranean restaurant Ardeo for a fabulous meal one night, and had a delicious lunch at Cafe Alfresco, a short walk up the road. The lobster rolls at a local marina were the best we've ever eaten! We visited the Cape Cod Lavender Farm, took the ferry to Nantucket on a day trip, and visited Provincetown, Wellfleet and Chatham. We will certainly be back again next year - we can't wait!

Cape Cod beauty from Alaska
This is a beautiful property. I traveled from Alaska to meet some old friends and do a little fishing in Cape Cod which is a home away from home from my past. This property was beautifully appointed and sparkling clean with view of the water, wildlife and pure Cape Cod. A short walk to the ocean with an inland waterway to explore. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. They helped out with info on the best restaurants and Jim had plenty of good pointers on the fishing. This is a highly recommended destination.

Great access to beach and yet peaceful!
Loved the combo of being able to walk to the beach with beautiful sunsets and then sit on the deck when back at the house watching birds. Tastefully decorated yet very comfortable to get cozy and read a book. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean. No moldy smells like I have experienced in some other Cape cottages.

perfect Cape Cod vacation cottage
A perfect spot for our annual get-together of four friends since elementary school. Lots of comfortable space to hang out, talk, and eat in the living room (great view), deck (ditto), and kitchen/dining area. Loved that you could just walk down the road and be at the beach in a couple of minutes -- no need to deal with cars, traffic, and parking. The mile-wide low tide and sunsets were awesome. I had the master bedroom, which has a very comfortable bed and wonderful morning sun to wake up to. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and everything worked. Daneen and James are great hosts. Looking forward to return someday!
