About this house rental

This house has everything. The Ranch style house is located in the heart of the Adirondack mountains on Lake Vanare and is 5 minutes from Lake George and 20 minutes from Saratoga.

The house comes with, AC, Free Wi-Fi, complete kitchen with Dishwasher, Streaming TV, DVD, W/D, beachfront with a fire pit, canoe, a large deck with a BBQ Grill and sitting area overlooking the water. We provide all of the bed linens and towels.

Whether you are a couple seeking a romantic getaway, a small/large family or a group of friends you are all welcome. We are happy to host weddings, family reunions, and corporate retreats. (Additional Fee and prior approval for large groups/events)
Enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks, go fishing, hiking, swimming, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, bird watching, parasailing, experience the flat or harness track or sit by your own private campfire. The choice is all yours!!!!!

This place was a lot of fun, plenty of space. The host Shaun, was extremely helpful, answered messages very quickly. We really enjoyed the deck, the views, the beach area and the privacy. Loved having access to the canoe, kayaks, and the paddle boat. Cons: the “2nd” bathroom had no privacy at all. Also, I did not appreciate all of the junk outside under the deck, especially the toilet bowl. Again, the house was beautiful, and in a great location. The price was affordable and we got to bring our dog. Thank you for all the great memories.

My fiancé and I went to this property with a couple friends for a quiet weekend away for his birthday. The second we walked into this home we were impressed. The house was incredibly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the layout itself was unique and refreshing. The private beach in the backyard was quiet and we took the kayaks out on the lake and even went swimming. Such an amazing location, and the host was so hospitable and attentive to any of our needs. He gave us recommendations on hiking locations and great food nearby, and responded quickly to any questions. 10/10 would recommend this property, and we hope to be welcomed back in the future. Great place for a fun and relaxing weekend!

The pictures of the propery do not do it justice. My wife was amazed when she opened the door! The house has plenty of room, very clean, and has amazing views of the lake. The host was very responsive to questions, and ensured we had more than everything we needed to have an awesome weekend! House has its own lake access and very nice private beach! Very close to Lake George attractions, but the view from the deck of Adirondack Candyland might have you saying " might be a good day to hang on my private beach"

Really great and large home for hosting a gathering. Master bedroom is huge and the living area is also incredibly spacious. Shawn was a fantastic host and even mailed us a bathing suit we had left accidentally. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Shawn's place!

We love the place very much, the house is exactly as you see in the pictures, super spacious and cozy. The children have a lot of fun on the beach and with the games they have in the house. It was a great time I had with my husband, my children and my parents, the house has a view and a super pleasant climate. Thank you so much Shawn!

This property lived up to its description and photos. We had a wonderful time kayaking, paddle-boating, and wading on the lake, and the baby enjoyed sand toys on our small beach. The house was immaculate, with beautiful views from the porch and the master bedroom. Everything went smoothly and we would rent here again with no hesitation. Thanks!

It was a great experience renting this property. The house was super spacious for six of us and our dog. It had all the amenities. Shawn checked in to make sure that we had everything we needed. We picked this location to be near Lake George, but Lake Vanare is right in the backyard, so we didn't really need to go anywhere to enjoy our quiet relaxing vacation. We really enjoyed the spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the house's deck during our stay. The pool table was an added bonus for our teenagers. Thank you Shawn!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this house. It was very clean and as advertised. The location is excellent with a private sandy beach and use of a kayak, canoe some floats. The water was refreshing but warm enough to allow for comfortable floating for long periods of time. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed dart games in the evening. The view of the lake from the dining room, master bed room, and especially the spacious deck was a highlight for us. The host was responsive and quick when we had a question. Would completely recommend this property!

Renting the property very easy and affordable for our group. House was clean with all the amenities needed to stay there. Conveniently located to all of our weekend events. Highly recommend. Host had great communication. Property was as described. Lake front with all the amenities needed for a week at the lake. Plenty of water “toys” for the family to enjoy. Close to Lake George for other activities but still feel like you are disconnected from big city life.

This property is amazing. The photos do not do it justice. The place was so clean and it is huge. Having the private beach was so great and having all sorts of water equipment (floats, canoe, paddle board, kayak, paddleboat) just added to the enjoyment. The kitchen is fully stocked and the refrigerator has filtered water and ice. Shawn, the host, was so helpful, and always available if you have a question. I could go on an on about how impressive this place is.

We chose this house based in the location that allowed a dog and being right on the water! It was fantastic! The house was large enough for 6 adults and my daughters dog. The view from the deck was beautiful! It rained a couple days so the pool table and dart board were great distractions! There is plenty to do around the area as well! This couldn’t have worked better!

The whole family had a great time and the amenities were awesome. The place is kept very well and very clean. The great room was a lot of fun having pool, darts and a card table and landed itself to a fun gathering point. The house is big enough where no one feels on top of each other. We all really enjoyed the beach area with the kayak, cones, etc, and relaxed with a fire pit at night. Would definitely r

The house is beautiful and lots of space , it is very clean, the owner was always avaible and ready to address any questions or issues, beautiful lake view, my husband did some kayaking was nice to be close to nature and be away in a nice peaceful beautiful place, my kids love the house and the nice hot tub and there are many amenities also indoor or outdoor

Everything was just great! So relaxing and peaceful which is just what we needed! Our host, Shawn went above and beyond - offered us an earlier check in, there were roses/champagne and a card to offer warm wishes , checked in to make sure things were going well, very responsive to text messages! we appreciated such kindness- definately not your average host/rental. thank you for a lovely weekend!
