Intet.

The hosts were amazing, picked us up from train station and dropped us back. The views are stunning. Great shower, air conditioning. Everything you need including coffee pods water breakfast. Even organised private driver to take us up the hill to the Christ Redeemer.
Nothing really

The hospitality of the hosts
When no car or motorcycle (we travelled by train) is available, the road to the village and beach is rather dangerous

The best B&B experience we have ever had!

We were greeted on arrival by the whole smiling family who made us feel instantly welcome. The setting of this home is stunning. All 3 spotlessly clean ooms have a beautiful sea view and a terrace from which you can enjoy it. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the potted cacti were all in bloom during our stay. There is ample parking. Breakfast baked goods (still warm from the oven this morning!) were delivered to our door each morning to complement the coffee, juices, water, milk, yogurts and other goodies in the fridge and on the breakfast hutch which also has a Nespresso machine and a microwave..even the china is pretty.
If you eat out - make La Tenuta del Barone at "must" place to dine. Their tasting menu is incredible - one for 2 people is more than enough food! We also loved A Fuoco Lento very close to the B&B.
We are grateful to have stayed at nonnAngela and cannot recommend it enough. Grazie grazie grazie!!!

The b&b is tucked a little out of the way but the host met us at the petrol station and guided us to the property. The room was lovely, tastefully decorated and the very friendly hosts had thought of everything. Outside the room was a terrace with a table and chairs and a fabulous view over the mountains and sea.

Great breakfast.

Beautiful location with lovely terrace and spectacular view of the ocean. Very friendly, helpful and responsive host. Clean, comfortable room. Good value for money.
I had hoped from such an attentive host to have a breakfast that featured more local and fresh things (such as fruit), as opposed to a lot of store bought articles.

It was paradise it was a beautiful place after Rome , Naples.I feel like an idiot for not booking a minimum 3 nights .Some people may think they need a car in the area .For me it would have been good to relax and do short walks. The breakfast and small kitchen area was wonderful .
That I did not stay longer bad planing 😢

Everything had been thought of and the hosts went above and beyond what was expected. The service provided and the facilities were excellent.

Exceptional hospitality, wonderful family run setup- even the son chipping in from time to time as translator! Hosts went the extra mile for us, picking and dropping to the station, dropping us to Il Borgo.
Beautiful property, very clean and well maintained, panoramic view from patio
Excellent value for price paid, generous breakfast spread included
Nothing with the property. Maratea is quite spread out with the medieval town (borgo) up in the hills, Christ the Redeemer even further up and the beach/porto by the shore, with the station sort of mid-way between. The public bus schedule is limited so having a car (which we didnt) would afford much better flexibility to explore this beautiful area.

Everything was great and as depicted on photos. The view from the shared terrace is breathtaking, the bed was comfy, the room was sparking clean, mosquito net for the French doors.
The hosts are the sweetest couple and communication was smooth. I loved that that they made a website with travel and eating suggestions for the area.
The location is not in the center of Maratea where there are many restaurants, there were only a few within walking distance. With a car you had many options within a short drive.
Parking was free and on site. Internet wifi worked great.
Breakfast was provided, the traditional Italian sweet breakfast, no savory options. Yogurt and milk in the fridge of the room and sweet pastries were delivered outside the room in the morning. Good coffee machine inside the room, also tea sachets.

- The wonderful owners who were delightful and who ferried us to and from the station and also dropped us in the old historic centre for dinner AND picked us up, as if it was no hassle at all.
- The stunning views from the terrace of the sea and mountains
- The low-key beach at the bottom of the hill (a little challenging on the way back!) Gorgeous water.
- How well equipped the rooms are - coffee machine, microwave, biscuits, yoghurt, milk (including lacto free!), butter, jam, tea…
If the owners weren’t so wonderful and generous, it would be essential to have your own car to get around.

Beautiful place with amazing sea views. The terrace is spectacular and perfect for a relaxing breakfast. The hosts are absolutely lovely, providing us with everything we needed for breakfast, and on hand for queries whenever we needed them. they made us feel very welcome. The place is kept so clean which is important to note. Free parking on site too. We had a wonderful time.
nothing!!

The hosts were so friendly and kind. They went out of their way to help.
Amazing view. It was nice, quiet and relaxing
A bit far to walk to the town centres

The experience at this place has been the best I have had in last times, and the friend that was travelling with me can say the same thing. We were just amazed by:
- the incredible kindness of the hosts, that insisted to get us by car at the restaurant and to the station (we travelling by walking through Basilicata, so we did not have the car) and that did all they could to let us feel good
- the wonderful panorama that one can see from the room
- the commitment to keep everything super clean and Covid safe, great job
- the very nice room
- the very nice breakfast.
Unfortunately we had to go back to our hometown Venice, but we would have loved to spend much more time there. I want to recommend this place with all my heart

The breakfast was perfect. The hosts were very friendly. The place was beautiful for our rest.
Nothing.

Charming view of the coastline and the hills, private parking on premises, very friendly staff and owners, good breakfast. The room itself has everything that's needed and is very comfortable.
It would have been nice if the room was a little more spacious, with 2 luggages space ran out quickly but it was not a problem at all.

Everything was perfect, very friendly owners, delicious breakfast, private parking, very comfortable room with terrace and splendid views.

Very central location to discover all the nice things of the Maratea area. Spacious, new and very clean room with all facilities you could want. Lovely (sweet) breakfast that you can eat at your own terrace, with sea views. Very friendly family and son who excellent translates in English. We will definitely go back!
