Needless to say, our stay was the experience of a lifetime: witnessing the 2024 Eclipse Totality with the back drop of the fields and snow capped mountains from the vantage point of the adirondack chairs set in back of a rustic log cabin! The cabin itself was absolutely wonderful offering every amenity we could have hoped for. We thoroughly enjoyed the moments spent with our family building up to the big moment, and reflecting on it as we took in the grand finale that the sun had to offer with a sunset from the hottub. Thank you, Kris and Ben, for providing us with a core memory that none of us will ever forget.

The overall cabin was very nice. Nicely decorated, comfortable bedding, great hot tub and worked well for our family getaway. Unfortunately, the cabin has a mouse problem and it really needs to be addressed. We spent too much vacation time cleaning pots, pans, silverware and plates due to a LOT of mouse droppings in the cabinets. The mouse droppings were also found downstairs near the large built in television. We noticed this all of this on the second day of our stay and contacted the management. We were given $400 back which I felt was a little short in reimbursement. We were questioned and asked if we could send/show pictures which we did. No further adjustments made and just felt that more should have been said apology wise and offered financially. It's unfortunate because it is a nice place, but would not go back.

We loved our stay in this cabin in North Ferrisburgh. The house is really lovely -- better than it looked in pictures! And views of the sunsets from the back porch are gorgeous. We had a group of eight that included grandparents, parents, and kids ranging in age from 3-14, and we all fit very comfortably, with plenty of room (and plenty of bathrooms) for everyone. My mother doesn't always get around easily, but this house didn't present any challenges for her. Everyone in our group slept well and agreed that the beds & pillows were really comfortable. The house is very open, which was not an problem for us (we actually enjoyed it), but it could be an issue for other groups, if most people aren't on similar sleep schedules. There was plenty to do nearby -- swimming, shopping, dining, and farms to visit. We were never bored! We'd definitely return to this house. It was a wonderful home in an absolutely beautiful, peaceful area, with lots to do and activities for everyone!

We had a great time here!! The cabin was super cozy with tons of amenities inside and out. The hot tub was such a nice feature. The views were beautiful and the peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. Not far from Burlington and even made the trip up to Montreal and Montpellier easily from the cabin. Would recommend! Thanks

We spent a week in Jordan’s Cabin and had a wonderful time. The cabin is very cozy. Beds are super comfy. Everything was very clean. If you are planning on staying with a lot of people, I will say that you can hear every sound throughout the house. The hot tub was perfect for relaxation. The game room/ theater set up was a lot of fun as well. We’d definitely recommend this place!

We loved our time at this cozy cabin. The location is exactly perfect for all activities, but you may not want to leave the house! We had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable, and definitely enjoyed the gathering spaces so that we could be together.
Our hosts decorated the house for the holidays (so charming!) and even left us welcome cookies -- made it feel like Christmas immediately. The house is very well-equipped and easy to live in. Comfy seating and lots of throw blankets to cuddle.
We were there during especially cold weather, and the house is sealed tight. The setting is quiet and you'll sleep very well.
We loved our time there, would go back in a heartbeat!

We stayed here for stay with a mix of older adults, young adults, and teens. The house is very clean and cozy. Seeing fireflies in the woods each evening was an added treat. Location is great with Burlington approximately 30 mins to the north and Vergennes (8-10 min) and Middlebury (30 mins) to the south. Owners are great and responsive.

Beautiful views, cozy, well-furnished cabin
This "cabin" is filled with beautiful "real" furniture and equipped with everything you need. It was a wonderful base for our family vacation. Kris was very responsive to any question we had. We loved our stay in beautiful Vermont!

Great location
Our kids loved the cabin, especially the outdoor fireplace game room and the hot tub, and we did lots of activities within a 20 mile radius of the house. Plenty of state parks, hiking, farms, etc. If you like to cook a lot of meals when you’re on vacation, the kitchen is not ideal. It could use a whisk, a griddle, a casserole pan, a large metal mixing bowl, sharp carving and bread knives, a brownie pan, an ice cream scoop, and a silicone spatula. There was very limited cabinet space for pantry items, so all of those went on the counter. If you don’t cook much on vacation, this is the place to go! But if you do, make a note to pack some of the above items, along with extra paper towels and toilet paper. Beautiful, relaxing setting! Cookies on arrival were a hit!

Dream Cabin!
We had a fantastic stay! The cabin itself is as cute and cozy as a cabin in snowy, Vermont gets! Also deceivingly large! Our group of 8+ had plenty of breathing room in both the house AND the hot tub. Secluded, but with an easy drive to Burlington and only an hour to Stowe, we were able to have the full Vermont experience. The hosts are incredibly responsive and offered cookies upon arrival. Truly a 10/10 experience.

Great view of mountains on the horizon. Huge comfortable hot tub. Great place to stay between major ski areas if your trying to hit different spots and don’t mind the drives. Very clean and cozy. The basement is super fun and great entertainments area. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We will be back!!!

Early Holiday Escape
The cabin is beautiful and as described online. We pulled in to the private property to find a charming cabin with Christmas decorations on the wrap around porch. Once inside, the cabin was warm and inviting with lots of festive decor, white Christmas lights and a live tree trimmed in lights - really beautiful. Lots of space for our family of 4 adults plus 2 dogs. The property offered great space to roam with the dogs, the hot tub was a big hit, and the location is very convenient to many area attractions. A wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Thank you Kris!

End of summer vacation
Thank you for opening your home to our family. We had a wonderful few days with our family. The property was beautiful, providing us with a relaxing setting to end our summer vacation.
The only suggestion we would make would be to update some of the information in the binder. We found some of the information conflicted with that listed on the website.

Beautiful cabin, for our family & dogs to enjoy! Close to Burlington.
Nice piece of property set away from main road. Very clean, comfortable beds. We checked in on a hot day, but Kris & Ben had the AC on and the cabin was nice & cool! We loved the homemade cookies & enjoyed the hot tub especially after the biking for 15 miles on the Burlington bike path. We hope to return one day!

Lovely cabin with great views
Host’s very accommodating. Ben even took time to give the kids a ride in big tractor while he mowed back field. The views and sunsets out back were spectacular. Would definitely consider staying again.

Classic Log Cabin Experience
We really enjoyed the cabin. The back yard was great, still close to attractions. Comfy furniture and beds. A great place to relax. Check in and check out was super easy. Because of COVID we ate all our meals in the cabin so we ran out of garbage and recycling space. Can't really fault the cabin or the owner for that though.

We visited in June with my kids and parents. The cabin is comfortable, cozy, and well-equipped. The surrounding trees and grass field provide a peaceful, isolated haven with interesting wildlife and beautiful views.Only downsides: The cabin is well-constructed, but biting insects still got in. The loft-over-loft design is unique and fun, but allows flying insects and sound to freely travel throughout the interior.

Amazing VT Cabin with Fire, Grill, Jacuzzi & More!
My friends and I enjoyed staying at the cabin. There were lots of board games and at night we had campfires and made s’mores. It’s 25 mins from Middlebury and 30 mins from Burlington so you can go into town. There’s a Shaw’s grocery store 5 mins away in Vergennes. You’re a quick drive away from Lake Champlain and lots of nature/hiking trails. Would love to come stay at the cabin again.
