Walk to everything in Paia Town. Paia Family Cottage is well equipped, with comfortable indoor, and sweet outdoor living spaces for everyone. There is AC in all bedrooms and living room. And a yard where kids can play, with views out over the green sugar cane fields. Walk to the beach from the house. Walk to cafes, restaurants, Mana Natural Foods market and galleries. Get to world-class windsurfing, kiting, and surfing in a jiffy. Plenty of room for gear storage. Enjoy!

We had lots of room to spread out. It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 teens). Great backyard and deck. Nice chairs and towels for the beach. Walkable to town and to cute breakfast places. Highly recommend!!!

Great location. Discovered that we really like Paia. It has no big name resorts. 1/2 mile walk to townđ. Great central location to visit most locations on the island. Clean, easy to find, check in a breeze.

We loved being at this house- very relaxing with all the comforts of home in an amazing location for exploring Maui. Paia is definitely a surf town and beaches were pretty windy in April, but itâs a short drive to south shore beaches. House is clean and was great to have beach gear and lots of space- indoor and out.

The property was everything as advertised. Location was convenient to all and we really enjoyed the open kitchen and front room for gathering at night. We really wish we could have stayed longer. Darcy was very responsive to any questions. Thanks!

Centrally located on Maui, it's easy to get to all the sights from here, and it's easy enough to walk into town avoiding the parking and traffic of main streets of Paia.
The site was quiet, gardens well manicured and the yard was enjoyable when the wind was down.
The house had all the amenities we needed, and the two bathrooms allowed each couple their own facilities.
Kitchen was equipped with small supplies of helpful items like evoo, spices, paper towels and an ice pack for daytrip lunches in the cooler.
Washer/dryer, beach towels, and supply of two beach chairs were appreciated.
Check-in was a breeze, and the site manager was quick to respond to us.
Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the house as a home base during our Maui trip. Lovely restaurants, shops, yoga studios. When the wind was too much at Baldwin, we drove an easy 30 min to Kihei, we were glad to head back to tranquil Paia after the condo lined streets of Kihei.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Paia Family Cottage as the house was spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. It is also within walking distance to the centre of Paia town, where there are many lovely little shops, restaurants and cafes. The beach is also within walking distance. I would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely property, just far enough from the main drag of Pa'ia to be quiet, but still a super short walk in. Back deck was a great place to enjoy the sunrise with breakfast. Interior was spacious and comfortable.

My family and I were in Paia for a wedding and this house suited us perfectly! The property was clean, as advertised, and was in a GREAT location. All of the wedding activities were in town so we were able to walk to everything. The hosts were communicative and check in was a breeze. Would definitely stay again!

The house itself is great.
If you are planning to use it as a base for adventures, and don't mind driving, it's good.
But if you're hoping to hang out in the yard and take strolls around Paia, it might be a bit of a disappointment. It's situated in a very windy spot, a bit of a walk up from Paia. And the town itself, while cute, didn't feel super safe to me. Quite a few mentally ill/drugged folks living on the streets.
We left early for a friendlier/safer part of the island.
Maybe we it was extra windy when we were there...?

The third room with the futon was great for splitting up my kiddos so they had their own bed. Walk to town, boogie boards in garage. Highly recommend!

This cute, clean, & and convenient cottage with a nice ocean view backyard just a short walk from Paia shops, restaurants and beaches worked very well for our party of 4 (2 couples). Short drive to upcountry. I'd stay here again for sure.

My husband and I took his parents to Maui for their first time and this house was perfect for our vacation! The house is just as the listing shows-- cozy, beautiful view in the backyard, well stocked, very walkable to Paia's main drag and most importantly the beach! Everything was conveniently nearby The hosts were always available if we needed anything and reached out via text to check in on us. My family loved it and would definitely stay here again to avoid the crowded hotels

We had such an amazing trip with our two boys. Most of the amazing was due to the place we stayed at. The management team/hosts were very gracious and communicated very well prior to and during our stay. They let us know about what kid items were in the house and provided us with rental suggestions for everything else. Could not have been happier about our stay!

We planned our 2nd trip to Maui for our anniversary trip, 28 years. On our 1st trip, we fell in love with Paia, when we stopped on the road to Hana. This house was wonderfully perfect! It was close to everything we wanted. We were able to walk to town and it was a short drive to Baldwin Beach Park. The house had everything we needed and more. If you are looking for the perfect spot to truly relax, look no further!

Our family with 2 children had a wonderful time at the Paia Family Cottage. Itâs a great spot away from the huge hotel complexes in other parts of the island. There are nice beaches nearby (Baldwin Park where we regularly spotted turtles and Hokipa beach where you can watch the surfers). Shops, cafes (best coffee in town at Better Things) and restaurants are within walking distance. The road to Hana starts here and for ambitious cyclers (for best value get your bike at Go Cycling Maui) there is a great trip to Haleakala Mountain.
Beach supplies can be found in the carport. And thereâs a barbecue in the backyard if you donât want to go out for dinner.

Loved the location and ease of access. Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Would recommend this property to anyone. Beds were comfortable and the two bathrooms made it nice, we had two teenage girls with us! Mahalo

Amazing Family Stay in Paia
We had an amazing week staying at Greg and Danielaâs Paia property! Our baby absolutely loved watching the cows grazing in the backyard and all the toys, books and beach toys throughout the house. The location was perfect for walking to the delicious coffee shop and town for shopping or food. We look forward to coming back again soon!

Peaceful Paia
Ok, besides the occasional speeding car or motorcycle the peace this property offers is wonderful. The proximity to the grocery store, shops, restaurants, beach is excellent. The breezy warm air of Paia is perfect. Paia is fun and the people are pleasant. The property is very comfortable, clean and private.

Paâia Perfection
My husband and I have 4 kids, ages 4-13yrs. Weâve traveled all over the Virgin Islands, Aruba, Bermuda, Jamaica, Mexico, Fl, CA and the big island. This was the most incredible vacation yet and many thanks to the comfort and convenience of our rental property!
It was a short 15 minutes from the airport to the house. We didnât read through the info sent over by Daniellea and ended up at the main house. Note, this property is one driveway downhill from where navigation will take you. We called Daniellea and she was nice enough to guide us to our property by phone late at night.
We were pleasantly surprised with a 3rd bedroom with a fold out futon. My son was relieved he didnât have to camp on the sofa. The girls shared the queen bed and our youngest slept in the king with us. The air conditioning was functioning and effective. The only minor complaint we would have is there were only a few paper towels and the master bedding smelled as if it was left in the washer too long. When we stripped the bed, there were some stains that were a little unsightly on the pillows and mattress. This was a little uncomfortable to see and I wondered how clean our bed really was. We also only had 1 trash bag and ended up using a gigantic yard trash bag we found in the garage.
Otherwise, positives: walkable, amazing beaches (check out secret beach for âkiddie poolâ protected from waves by lava rock), better things coffee was unimpressive however, super friendly and amazing baked goods! Nuka sushi was amazing and a short 10 minutes away. We watched whales and surfers just east of Paâia off the highway. We found a ton of turtles at another nearby beach (we saw so many obnoxious tourists attempting to touch them- please maintain distance if you stumble upon them- sacred and endangered animals).
We loved how environmentally conscious Paâia and the property are. The locals are beautiful people and I canât imagine what they tolerate with travelers. We felt so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in this house, a perfect place for a family. Kids cups, utensils, plates and sand toys/ boogie boards/noodles/ toys/ books.
We made the mistake of spending a fortune at Mana thinking it was the nearest grocery stop. The food from here was delicious, healthy and enjoyable.
We did our very best to clean after ourselves, washed towels, emptied trash and washed dishes. We left some food items hoping the cleaning crew would take it home or donate.

Beautiful local spot
I grew up on Maui and have been coming to visit every year since I left. My family and I loved this spot because it is close to everything and keeps you away from the business in Kihei. The home was beyond perfect for my family. I especially loved that there was a bonus room with childrenâs books for my son!

Awesome family getaway!
This location was literally perfect to relax and enjoy Maui. My toddler enjoyed roaming the backyard smelling the flowers. The AC in the rooms worked great. Would definitely book again!

Perfect Time In Paia
Just want to say what a wonderful time we had. Daniela & Greg were attentive and answered all of questions (which were few). The home was very clean and the location to town and beach was great. We rode bikes to the beach and enjoyed eating at Paia Bowl for breakfast (must try). We hope to come again next year. Thank you so much !

Perfect Paia stay!
Everything about this property is wonderful and even better than described and in the pictures!
The beds and pillows were the most comfortable weâve ever had on a vacation. The A/C works well. Lots of room to spread out and love the outdoor space!
We used the beach chairs and boogie boards daily. Quick walk to town for shopping, dinner, and groceries. Great yoga studio right up the street.
Baldwin and Baby Beach just a few minute drive away.
We are so thrilled to discovered this area of Maui and canât imagine staying elsewhere again!

The house was spacious and well equipped, great location, just a short walk into town. Thereâs a pleasant view of the countryside from the back deck. We really enjoyed morning coffee and mealtimes back there. All in all, it was a great experience.
