Treat yourself to a relaxing break in this beautiful Grade 2 listed stone cottage located in the centre of Britain's smallest city of St Davids. Situated just meters from the main square and its glorious 12th Century Cathedral, you will be nestled amongst numerous lovely restaurants, shops, pubs, and galleries. St Davids is packed with culture, history, and adventure. Take a walk around the Cathedral and its grounds, where St David, the Patron Saint of Wales founded a 6th-century monastery. Enjoy an afternoon drumming your fingers along to the songs played by the local musicians who are usually found playing in the corner of the pubs. Oriel Y Parc Gallery is a mere few minutes walk from the square, where you will find the National Park Visitor Centre and exhibitions from the National Museum of Wales.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is only a 10-minute walk from the cottage, providing endless opportunities to explore the coast and all that the Pembrokeshire National Park has to offer. Spend the day discovering the sandy beaches surrounding St Davids, including Whitesands Beach (2mls) which has been awarded Blue Flag Beach status, and voted one of the best surfing beaches in the country, or venture into the pretty fishing village of Solva (4mls), where you can take a tour of the oldest working Woollen Mill in Pembrokeshire. The infamous Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy (5.3mls) is perfect for thrill seekers, where you can enjoy Coasteering and Cliff-Jumping, and experience the adrenaline rush that the Red Bull Cliff Divers had when they held the Word Series here in 2012. Take a boat trip out to visit the islands surrounding St Davids that are home to Puffins, Dolphins, and Gannets.
You are spoilt for choice with things to do in St Davids, from nature watching, fishing, golf, and much more. There is an open-plan shaker-style kitchen with a dining table and chairs. Wonder through the stable-style back door out to the rear courtyard, where you can enjoy your morning coffee on the garden furniture, made using our Tassimo Coffee Machine. There is also a storage area should you need to store things such as a bike or surfboard. Upstairs in the master bedroom, there is a gorgeous king-size bed to relax in after a busy day exploring, and you also have a twin bedded room. Just off from the gallery landing is a beautiful family bathroom with a freestanding roll-top bath, large shower, and WC.
