That it is in the centre of Noto.
Not a four star hotel but more like a two star.

Breakfast not great

very basic rooms and bare bones hotel

The location was very central as the hotel is right next to the cathedral, the main spot in the city. Monica is also very helpful and is happy to provide a guided tour of the aristocratic apartments which are part of the hotel.
Other than the breakfast area, there is no other common space such as a bar.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful city
4.0 / 5.0
You cannot dream of a better location. The hotel is literally aside the wonderful cathedral of Noto, a few steps from all the attractions of the city. The hotel used to be the palace of the most prominent family in Noto when the city was built from scratch after a disastrous earthquake erased the old city. The hotel staff are amazingly nice and courteous, as well as passionate about the place and its history. They will also lead you for a visit to the beautiful apartment of the first floor, that was the residence of the Landolina family and hosted the Borbone kings, and to a beautiful exhibition space on the ground floor.
The room furniture is basic and the shower is small.

The location next to the Duomo was excellent, and the member of staff who greeted us and showed us around the beautiful state rooms with stunning frescoes on the first floor was informative, friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely roofscape view, and it was quiet at night.
The room had utilitarian furnishings. Besides the breakfast room, there were no other communal areas in evidence - not even a chair in the reception area. The rather brutalist modern paintings of Christ's Passion in the corridor outside our room were unsettling. I felt it was overpriced, given that it was the off season, with only another couple of guests in this large building. It felt strangely silent and empty, with the deserted state rooms on the floor below - with some of that closed off for restoration. Besides the receptionist and the breakfast coffee maker, I didn't see any other staff. I really didn't like the ambience, but it may well be different in the summer.

If you want to stay in a real old Palace, this is the place! It’s perfectly situated right in the centre of Noto next to the cathedral. Free parking right outside too. Breakfast was simple but nice. And Noni was an excellent host! 😘
Can recommend Cavour for drinks and live music and Anche gli Angeli for dinner too ☺️
The cathedral bells are pretty loud from 7am (although it was Sunday and the hotel can’t do much about that! 😆)

The building itself, in addition to be super central is gorgeous. The room was spacious and we loved the soap they have for the guests.
Nothing in particular. The hotel is great! I just wish the place had some more investment on the first floor. The rooms from the 18th century are just incredible and paitings are breathtaking, but you can see remainings from what used to be a museum. This rooms could easily be a nice breakfast place or better, a fancy restaurant or caffeteria open to the public and guests.

The staff were exceptional and so accommodating.
Our room was spacious and the extra pillows that we asked for were immediately provided and very comfortable.
Pity there wasn't a comfortable relaxing area.

Outstanding place, right in the centre of Noto, literally next to the cathedral yet very quiet at night. The residence used to be the palace of the Landolina family and the "noble" level is open to the guests of the hotel. Our room had a semi-intact original XVIII century fresco on the ceiling that added to the atmosphere. The concierge was outstanding, a cultivated woman who in addition to her conscierge job guided us through the history of the palace. Excellent breakfast, the croissant were otherworldly, served in the internal courtyard. Without doubt the best stay of our holiday.

Amazing location in the heart of Noto - Friday night was buzzing with locals promenading in front of the cathedral / town hall / our hotel. Beautiful town which seemed full of locals more than tourists. The woman on the front desk waited past her clock off time to give us a tour of the Palace
Serious challenge getting to the hotel in a car (especially a big one). Once there parking was fine and we didn't need it, but the journey in was challenging

Beautiful old building right in the center of town.
The breakfast was one of the best I've had in Italy and it's included
Very friendly staff.
The rooms are quite small, I guess a quirk of an old building.
You should not come to stay here if you're looking for a lavish room to spend you time inside.

excellent hosts: nice, friendly and very good communication for an unforgettable warm stay.

Everybody was nice, they provide good service. For breakfast we've got lactofree and vegetarian option as we asked and also good quality non-vegetarian food. Perfect location in center of old town with parking in front of hotel. You can reach beautiful beaches just 15-20 min far away by car.
Our room was noisy, since it was located next to church and the bells were ringing every morning. But receptionist was very nice and helpful and she provided another room that was much more quiet.

Monica was amazing! She was the one that made the stay so much better. the location of the hotel is great.
There’s no noise insulation and you can hear the people walk down the hall and talking. The breakfast was underwhelming and the pillows were not comfortable.

The hotel is next door to the cathedral in the city and so it could not be more central. Our 2 separate rooms were on the second floor but there was a lift. I really enjoyed the self-service buffet style breakfast in the open courtyard of the hotel the 2 mornings we were there. There was plenty of choice and the quality was good. The Wifi was fine. The staff were friendly and the brief "tour" around the 1st floor old state apartments at the front of the building overlooking the main square of the city was actually very interesting.
It didn't bother us but some people might not like the regular sound of the cathedral bells. They did however stop at 8.00pm and did not restart until 7.00am when we were there.

The hotel is unique, the location is excellent, room was very clean
Our room was behind the cathedral and the bell ringing close to us, very noisy from the square, it has a moisture in the room, no food on the breakfast, just few salami and croissants, because the group before us have eaten everything and the staff didn’t bring more.

The location was perfect.
We asked about parking twice and never received a reply. Parking was a nightmare.
