We had a fantastic week on Nantucket at Tom and Jane's home. Close to town and the beach, but sits on a quiet and private road with a beautiful view! The house was outfitted with everything you could possibly need during your stay, and was in pristine condition when we arrived. Tom was so helpful leading up to our stay and made himself available in case we needed anything while there. Can't say enough good things--hope we have the chance to stay at their home again next summer!

Two couples + two 20 year olds + one 2 year old. The place is bigger than it looks in the photos. The back deck was ideal for sunset dinners. The kitchen is well stocked and it was easy to cook dinner for the entire family. We love the location, near many beaches and easy walk into town, about 20 minutes. This house feels big and accommodated us comfortably

Well we did not have a good day of weather No sun during the week. But we loved our stay on the Island We loved our house. We loved the location. We loved the layout of the house it was perfect for our family. The decorator did a wonderful job. We could not asked for a more appropriate house. Only wish we could live in it 12 months a year

I reserved dates at 30 Pilgrim 10 months prior to our stay because we had no flexibility with our dates. Over those months, Tom, our host, never failed to be responsive, informative, and thoughtful. The house was perfectly laid-out for our party of 7, including two couples who each had a private master bedroom. I loved the location: walking distance from town and on a marsh filled with bird life. Highly recommended!

The home is beautiful and more spacious than photos. House is about 15-20min walk into town. Great quiet street. Great common spaces and two large master suites in addition to spacious additional bedrooms.

We had a delightful experience at this home. Floor plan provides nice open concept to congregate with family. The bedrooms were perfectly separate to give extended family more privacy. Host was very attentive to all that we needed.

Great property!
Close to town, lovely outdoor area, and perfect for families! Bonus that they had crib and high chair, and sand toys, towels etc for the beach. Very kind and helpful hosts !

The house to rent on Nantucket!
I can’t begin to tell you how much we loved this house! My husband and I do a number of VRBO‘s - this was amongst the nicest and the location was perfect. It also was the most well stocked with supplies of any house we’ve ever rented; seems like a small thing, but little things like this make the trip so much more enjoyable as you invariably forget certain things and everything we could have needed was here. The house was spacious -yet each room was very private. We absolutely will be back & hope to rent this hone again next summer!!

Great House!
Beautiful house in great location. The size and layout was perfect for our family of three adult couples: Everyone had their own large bedroom/suite area (with plenty of closet space) and the kitchen/dining room/living room/deck was large, airy, beautiful, and very comfortable. The deck overlooking conservation land was great.

Lovely home, neighborhood and location
We had a very nice time staying at the house, which was very comfortable and relaxing. The first floor open layout flows really well and there are plenty of separate areas to sit and hang out without feeling secluded. The breakfast nook is lovely and there is great natural light that flows in throughout. The elevated back deck is very pleasant with a nice view overlooking the back marsh, which felt like a bird sanctuary. The location is perfect for having a quieter neighborhood but still very close to some of the island’s best - Steps Beach, Something Natural and town - which are all easily walkable. The host and caretaker were great and very responsive. My family had a great week overall and we would like to stay at the home again.

Great stay for wonderful memories
We used to be islanders and my parents wanted to enjoy another Thanksgiving on island after 15 years away.
This large, but cozy home had everything we needed. Two master bedrooms with en suite baths upstairs, zoned heating, stocked kitchen, gas fireplace activated with a switch, and beautiful views. It’s the second home on a dirt road, walking distance from town. Decorated expertly, this home feels like Nantucket luxury, and has everything you need for a stay for kids, grandparents, and all in between.
Pair this place with a car rental from Turo and you’re golden because you can park in the driveway and get anywhere on the island within 20 minutes. Otherwise, easy walk to Steps or to town.
To imagine we found this place when our other VRBO fell through at the last minute (sadly, Madaket-ish home going out to sea)…

Great location and nice view over conservation land
We had a great stay with our family of five. House was well stocked and very conveniently located up Cliff Rd with easy access to bike path. Very nice deck overlooking conservation area.

Multi generation retreat
Multi generation retreat. House is great with two very private master bedrooms one for grandparents one for parents and then The grandkids had a space of their own with bedrooms hang out area and bath downstairs.

Beautiful house
This house is beautiful. Lots of space! It is a short 10-15 min walk to the beach. However, it is not a short walk to town. We had to walk it several times and it always took 25-30 min. It would be nice to have bikes for the visitors to use. Nantucket is beautiful but very busy. We could not get any taxi to answer and the Uber app always said none available. And to rent a car was $500 per day. There is a place to rent bikes that will bring them to the house. We finally figured that out and they are MUCH cheaper than downtown. The WiFi works but is spotty. Overall this was a great stay!

Layout and location of the house was perfect
My family had a great time. The location was perfect for walking to town or the beach both just under a mile away. The layout of the house was very spacious and the back porch was a great place to watch the sunset. Thanks again for letting us stay at your property!

Perfect Nantucket Getaway
We LOVED staying at this beautiful home! It was exactly as advertised, and was perfect for our family group of 6 adults. The owners, Thomas and Jane, have a wonderful property that is a nice walk from both town and the beach. The home is extremely comfortable, clean, well-equipped and serene. Our eldest daughter is attending Harvard Business School, so we chose to bring Thanksgiving to Nantucket. The kitchen and dining areas were well-suited to preparing a full holiday spread, and because we were concerned about grocery availability we organized a concierge shopper to buy and deliver groceries before we arrived. Thomas was highly responsive and accommodating to all of our questions and requests, despite being 5 time zones away. We were fortunate to have great weather and that allowed us to sit on the deck and enjoy the tranquility of the setting. I highly recommend this home to anyone who is visiting Nantucket. We were all sad that we could not spend more time on island, and that just means we will need to return for another visit. If you are planning a trip to Nantucket, I highly recommend that you stay at this home.

Nice property, great location
We had a group of 5 and really liked the house, location. Very clean, looks like the photos. It’s about a half mile walk to steps beach and about a 25 min walk to town. A bike rental is perfect for this location. There is no backyard but a nice deck that overlooks trees and a country club and it’s very quiet. They had plenty of the necessities , towels, laundry detergent and most kitchen essentials. The care taker and owner responded in a timely manner if we had questions. Overall a very good experience and would rent here again.

Great house and location for our family trip!
The house is in a perfect location and just as described in the listing. It was well stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen items to beach towels and chairs. Our young children loved riding bikes to Steps Beach and Something Natural, both 5 mins from the house. It was a perfect home base for our family trip and close to everything a young family would want to do!

Perfect location, beautiful & clean home
Perfect location and lovely home. Was very clean and comfortable. The host and caretaker were very responsive and helpful. Only suggestion would be to supply basic items for guests (dishwasher fluid, laundry detergent, trash bags, extra toilet paper in bathrooms, shampoo, conditioner & body wash).

Spacious house in great location, but slightly misleading photos and description
Very spacious house in an ideal location (minutes to town and beaches). Two of the bedrooms are located in the basement of the house which has a moldy odor. There is also no backyard (the deck overlooks a swampy field area with a lot of brush). We rented during a particularly hot week and the A/C did not work properly in one of the main zones of the house and the house caretaker was unable to provide any solution which was awful for our kids/baby. The entrance to the house from the street also requires you to step down 3 wobbly/uneven stone steps which was unsafe for us since we have small children. This house is ideal if you want a spacious house in a good location where you won't spend a lot of time.
