Cozy remodeled cottage directly on Bass Lake. Ten minutes to Traverse City.
Acabamos de terminar una renovación interior completa en el interior, en 2018. El entorno en Bass Lake es hermoso y relajante. La casa tiene 3 dormitorios, 2 baños y se siente como nuevo por dentro. Bass Lake es un lago deportivo de 365 acres. Los amaneceres de la mañana son perfectos mientras toma su café del porche junto al lago. We had great weather and were able to take full advantage of the kayaks and rowboat. The cottage was clean and well equipped, including wood for a fire. There was a spectacular sunrise to start the day. We will definitely be back.

This is our second year visiting this lovely cabin on Bass lake. It is comfortable, always perfectly clean, well stocked kitchen and free use of kayaks that we used every day. It is only 20 minutes into Traverse City. A quiet location in a lovely area of Michigan. We recommend it highly!

We loved staying at this rental! Very clean, well stocked with all kitchen supplies, towels, and even extra things like coloring supplies for the kids. All the outdoor items provided like kayaks, lounge chairs, firewood, etc were great! The street is quiet and we enjoyed the neighbors we met.
The only downside was some of the curtains don’t block much light so bring your own if you need complete darkness for sleeping. Looking forward to staying here again !

We have stayed in several VRBO properties and this was by far one the best properties we have visited. House was clean and well stocked. Location was far enough outside of town for peaceful relaxation yet close enough to everything. Would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time, the cottage was perfect for our family. The lake is beautiful and the kids loved playing in the water. The dock was easy to tie our boat to. The screened in porch was definitely our favorite place. We can't wait to be back next year!

My husband and cousin stayed here for several days, and used the cottage as a base for visiting local wineries. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. Lots of amenities, and not just one roll of toilet paper! It probably was the most well equipped of any VRBO unit that I’ve ever stayed in. The highlight of the cottage was the screened in back deck that overlook looked a tranquil lake. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening drinks out on this deck. We also enjoyed watching the local geese and ducks. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to place to stay up in the Traverse City area. We hope to return again, someday.

Great property. Nice house. 2 suggestions...put a hand rail. on the stairs going down to the lake. Also put higher wattage lamps in the bedrooms. It's difficult to read in bed. Otherwise it was wonderful staying there.

The property is in a great location, and easy to communicate with the owners. It is very clean and well appointed inside, which makes for a comfortable stay. The access to water is easy and the listening yo the loons is enjoyable. Overall, it is great for the family and recommend.

We just loved the lake house. It was so clean & looked exactly like the on line photos. Being right on the lake was so peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch every morning while we enjoyed our coffee. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing weekend.

Just book it- you won’t regret it! Immaculately clean, all the little touches that made it so accommodating, comfortable beds, completely renovated/ updated and beautiful view- screened in porch, excellent location and so many hooks for hanging towels/ clothes etc. which I loved, clean coffee pot! Such a beautiful place. My sister and I stayed with our mom here for Mother’s Day & we wouldn’t change a thing! Would love to come back ! Thank you so much to the wonderful hosts !

This cottage is just darling. We were VRBO newbies and didnt quite know what to expect with renting a place. But, we couldn't have asked for more! It was the little things for us, like having boxes of kleenex in all rooms, hair dryers in both bathrooms and frozen mugs in the freezer for our beer! The pantry has supplies & the kitchen is well stocked with all your needs. The cottage was super clean & decorated so cute. The view is beautiful & the setting was so peaceful. We even got a gorgeous sunrise on Sunday morning. Dean & Renee were easy to communicate with & answered all our questions before & during our stay. This is definitely a place we would love to visit again!! 5 out of 5 stars.

My husband and I have stayed in a lot of places, this by far is the cleanest we have ever stayed in! Dean and Renee were on top of all communication. The setting is peaceful and beautiful. Watching the sun come up over the lake with a cup of coffee is great for the soul. We will definitely return.

This cabin had everything we had hoped for. It Is very comfortable, enjoyed the fireplace and having it right on the lake with kayaks (if only the weather were better). The lake is so beautiful and the screen porch and the covered outdoor swing were so nice. There is even a well marked trail in the Forest Preserve across the street. We loved our week there and plan to be back next summer.

Neighbors wanted a get away for a few days and found this cute cottage on Bass Lake. Dean and Renee were wonderful and the cottage was spotless. We were surprised to find that it was furnished with everything that we needed. Already miss sitting on the screened porch staring at the water or watching the sun rise. Highly recommend this wonderful cottage on a beautiful lake.

We loved this home! We rent homes several times each year and this home was by far the most stocked we’ve ever stayed at! Everything from necessities to beach towels to coloring and art supplies for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet, we loved the available kayaks/paddleboat, and sitting in the screened in porch was lovely.

Beautiful setting for lakefront cottage that has quality updates. Super clean and well supplied. Communications with Dean were great. Appreciated a dock for my boat. Really enjoyed the screened in porch and swing in the backyard. Perfect for the two of us with rooms to spare. Great job on all the updates and amenities.

Cottage-like house with updated appliances and AC. Great to have the two kayaks with easy launch from the property.
Attentive communication with the owners. A brief storm knocked out the water heater which the owners got back on ASAP with their APP as soon as I messaged them that it was out.
Great having until 11am to check out.

The home on Bass Lake was as described. The owners were easy to communicate and very considerate. We had four adults staying with plenty of room. The home was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and enjoyment of the lake. The neighbors were friendly.
We have been vacationing in upper Michigan for many summers and this location and home by far as been the BEST... we would highly recommend this home.

This place really rocked it!! The views were amazing, the neighbors were really friendly we even got a pontoon ride around the lake. The two person swing was a really good addition, we used it a lot during our stay. The house was very clean and set up nicely for our stay. We are ready to do it again. We loved this adorable cottage right on a gorgeous lake! Sunrises were incredible. The lake was like glass - so peaceful and beautiful. It was so quiet I could hear fish jumping. This was the perfect place for our family to stay during our daughter’s graduation from Interlochen Arts Academy.

Very impressed with this beautiful little cottage! Very clean and comfortable. Caught several fish off of the dock. Even a 14” bass. The beds were very comfortable and we really appreciated how quiet the lake was. We used the peddle boat to go to the sand bar near the island. We loved how close it was to Traverse City to meet up with friends for dinner and live music. We’ll be back!

Island View is a lovely place to spend time on this quiet lake. The morning sunrise delighted us as we had our coffee, and did some fishing off the dock. The screened porch was wonderful for evening dinners and playing games. The walking trail nearby was so convenient for strolls, and just enough challenge for us older folk.
