how this apartment passes Health and Safety is beyond me. Dirty dishes in cupboard including one with dried blood on it. Coffee machine still had used coffee grounds still in it. Instant coffee in cannister was solid and sugar container was empty. When I messaged owner regarding milk and bread was told you get nothing as you booked through Booking.com, (hardly encouraging to book through this site) Only 2 chairs for eating unless you eat on the balcony, which was filthy. I also question the key code being secure, same as previous comment. There are so many safety issues with this property.

Location - central and within walking distance to most attractions within the Echuca township. Apartment - old world charm and building is full of history. Darts and morning coffee on the deck was nice. Sheets and towels were clean. Had what we needed - we stayed with 3 kids, the apartment had what we needed. Sure, it could do with a renew/spruce, a good solid wipe over between guests (old house dust etc) but all in all, it was okay. There is a lot of potential for this balcony apartment. 'Tags' all over the place - we actually found these helpful - thank you

Also location - if your after a quiet historic getaway, I DO NOT recommend you stay here on a long weekend, in school holidays or busy period. The American Hotel across the road was alive, LOUD and spilling onto the street and neighbouring drive through bottle shop until the wee hours of the morning. Although the accomodation owners have tried to address the noise issue, it really didn't help much. The bathroom - the door sticks badly. The bath - a few grip stickers could be helpful. Slipped over mid-shower and bruised up pretty bad. Kitchen - loved it actually, however the oven and front right stove top didn't work. $$ - maybe a little over what we though it was worth p/n.

The potential charm of the property

Unfortunately the balcony Is unusable given the amount of traffic noise and the property is tired.

Location is good in regards to the Port area, restaurants, walks and shopping. The apartment has character and is roomy with a good sized balcony. Good inclusion with netflix etc if you are into this.

Sitting on balcony is extremely noisy with the constant flow of trucks, semis and general traffic (when the new bridge opens hopefully this will lessen). Too many 'fairy' lights and their electric cords. Tea and coffee sachets, bathroom necessities would be a nice inclusion. Bath can get rather slippery when showering. Foam over main bedroom window a bit disconcerting (I realise the reason for this). Good if rooms had ceiling fans.

Lovely historical building, very comfy and clean, great communication with the host, close to shops and cafes, beautiful balcony and cute kitchen. Easy check in and check out.

Lots of noise during the day from trucks that should be improved when the new bridge opens. The front bedroom was well insulated so night time was fine but keep in mind that it is not a residential area and so noise levels will be higher.

-spider webs in every room, -huge moths flying in 2 bedrooms, -place needs painting, -securit question: do they change entry door code or it's the same all the time, -very noisy street with trucks passing through and lots of idiots doing burnouts, -comfortable beds.

It was decorated beautifully and very comfortable.

The traffic was very loud for a Monday night, we understand that is out of any ones control

Extremely noisy as on the main through route of Echuca with constant trucks and cars. Attempts have been made to quieten it. Couldn’t use the balcony as just too noisy out there. No little treat like biscuits, (as most motels do), upon arrival
