This was our 4th stay at Bayside. There's nothing more peaceful than waking up and having your morning coffee overlooking the bridge. Such a great way to relax and forget about the world. Very usable home with everything you'd need. Our first day we had an issue with the TV (later discovered it was from the global technology outage), reached out to Vacasa and they were ready to replace it the next day.
Huge dining table great for puzzles and games. New dishwasher and fantastic washer and dryer. Short walk to the beach for hours of fun. We've stayed in probably a dozen different homes in Bayshore and this one keeps drawing us back! I'm sure it will continue to do so!

We absolutely loved the corner property with the view of the bridge. It was a beautiful place and very quiet. Plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a problem with us is that it smelled musty. But if you air it out, the smell seemed to have gone away. But other than that, it was a great place and we would probably stay there again. Thank you!

This house was so comfortable and the location is just right. We tossed crab pots into the bay at low tide left them overnight and had five Dungeness in the morning. Our kids loved hunting for hermit crabs and treasures along the water line. Easy walk to the beach, can’t be beat.

What an amazing, beautiful view from this house!!! We could have spent the entire time sitting outside next to the firepit watching the wildlife and boats. There was plenty of room for our grandkids (2 and 6 yrs) to run around. The listing says 2 bedrooms, but there are 2 bedrooms downstairs w/full bathrooms and a bedroom upstairs w/a 1/2 bath. Communication was great. Quick response. Check out was easy. They let us know we could check in early since the house was ready and also gave us the option (for an addition cost) to check out later. The house was very clean with an open floor plan. My one suggestion would be it would be nice to have a binder with all the rules, expectations (i.e. strip the beds, load and run the dishwasher, etc) as well as all the other tech information, activity and dining suggestions, idiosyncrasies of the house, etc. That way all the info is in one place. At the end of our stay we learned there were passes to the club house, but we did not know about them prior and did not see them while we were there. In fairness, though, I do not know that we would have used them as we enjoyed our time on the beach!!

This was our second trip back... but so different from 1st experience. We walked in and place stunk. Smelled of old towel, body odors...and smokers. Very gritty and dirty. We spent our first full evening cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors, washing towels and washing many glasses, silverware and dishes. Went to cook and also pund dirty pots and pans. Went to later build a fire in the firepit, which we really enjoyed 1st trip, to find it had mounds on each side of cigarett butts. We had texted and complained the managers, and then got bumped up to someone else in the chain to text and complain to more and explain story and send all of our photos to of the dirty place. To top it off note on fridge said to have garbage cans, that were stinky overflowing, put out by curb that night as next day pickup. Cans sat out for several days and we finally figured out day must have changed. We notified managemnt, and also resident manager who never responded. I had to mask garbages down and burn what cardboard and paper I could to get by. We got lots of "so sorry" comments... and that was it! Maid should be fired or warned, and prior smoking tenants should be banned. We ended up washing blanket and couch throws, and airing out the comforter outside after washing it which helped a little bit, but not 100%. I will not go back until they verify no smokers ahead of us, and that new towels and bedding have been replaced. We are still amazed of no further follow up or contacts about our experience since we departed last month?

Ok. Only weird thing is the ring doorbell. Kinda invasive. Kinda creepy, a bit. But, the house is gorgeous! I love that you guys kept the 70’s vibe and added upgrades to the rest. Has absolutely everything that you would need + some. We’ll be back next fall to go crabbing again.

Perfect place
It was a wonderful place even during a rainy weekend. My daughters and I loved every minute. It was clean, well-stocked, great view, and so comfortable. I will recommend it to everyone. I only wish it would allow my small dog, because my husband and I would come back. However, we travel with our doodle. This was my annual girls weekend with my daughters. We had so much fun! Thank you.

Beautiful view, great house
The house is exactly as advertised. Rustic, comfortable, well-maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed. Awesome location - we loved to sit outside and watch the seals. It was quiet and peaceful. The bay was great for kayaking. We even dropped a crab pot right off of the back shore and caught some dinner. It is a 2 min walk to the beach. We look forward to visiting again and would recommend it to others.

Beautiful home, gorgeous view of the bay. We had everything we needed to have a fantastic, fun weekend. Beds were comfy. They had plenty of towels and even snuggly soft blankets to curl up with. The kitchen has plenty of utensils. It's very homey.

This house needs some TLC. We knew the original owners when they built it in 1981, and used to spend time there each summer until late 80s. Many of the interior and exterior materials are from the original build. The house needs attention.
The furniture is on the cheaper side, and the lack of TV's in the bedrooms is surprising in today's standards (there is one on a raised rolling stand that is not a great setup).
The exterior property is quite overgrown and just shows a lack of care.
Now, I will add the house is a great design for a beach house, and a great location. Plus I noticed the place is booked all summer, so my complaints probably will have little value. But this is just my suggestions to make the place what most renters would expect in the area and price point.

Great Location
My family stayed here along with my brother's family and it was the perfect set up. I loved how the adults had their own bedroom and bathroom downstairs and the kids had their own fun kids area upstairs. My favorite part was enjoying my coffee on the back porch with the amazing view! We loved looking for crabs, finding shells and walking to the beach. Great house in an awesome location.

Best View in Bayshore
This was our 3rd stay in this awesome home. Even after looking around for a "oceanfront" home, we keept circling back to this one. The bay and bridge views are incredible!!! The homeowners have been slowly making some improvements and there's still some work to do, but we love this place. Great place for kids too. I'm sure our 4th stay won't be far off! Only negative I can say is the electronic lock (although convenient) was a little spotty. A couple of times we had to put the code in multiple times and could hear the mechanism working, but the door wouldn't unlock. After multiple tries, it finally would let us in. Not a huge deal, but stress I don't need on vacation.

Nice home
The house has lots of rules (to be expected) the problem we had is the listing has one set of rules and then the fliers in the house say different than the email of rules you get. So confusing as to which set is accurate. The house is amazing, lots of space! Beds are okay. The path down to the water is slightly sketchy (rocky drop off). All in all we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing view
Great house with amazing view. Very clean and nice, fast internet. Large open plan with bedrooms with bathrooms at each end. We didn't stay in the bunk room upstairs over the garage, kinda low ceilings and not great air circulation, but we had the door closed. Would be ok as a kid haven though. We would certainly come back, place felt large for 3 people. Tons of seating outside overlooking the bay. Had seals playing around and good bird watching. BBQ was rusted out and didn't start, that should be fixed, we had to use the oven instead.

Perfect stay
This home was perfect for our vacation with two families. A room and bathroom for each of the parents on seperate sides of the house and a room and toilet upstairs for the kids. The view cannot be beat. I loved that there were baskets of extra cozy blankets sitting around and extras in the closet as well. Many vacation rentals lack that. It was nice having the e lock so there was no key to try to keep track of. We will definitely be returning here each year.

Supreme location!
This house is absolutely amazing! From the breath taking sunrise to the close proximity of the beach access, this place is superb! We enjoyed watching all the boats and just enjoying the company of our family in an open living space. We will most certainly be back in the near future.

Nice spacious home in good location
Myself and 7 friends rented this home for our annual golf trip which we've been doing for over 20 years. Space is always a concern for a group of 8 guys, but this home worked out great. With 6 beds all we needed to do was bring a couple air matresses and it worked out well. The living space is open with a great view of the bay and the bridge. Outdoor patio was great for playing cornhole. It's close to Crestview Golf Course in Walkdport and about a 30-40min drive to Olalla Golf Course in Toledo. Will will likely be renting this home again for one of our next golf trips.

Great Family Getaway
This home was fabulous for our family vacation. Plenty of room for the kids upstairs, and the adults downstairs. Nightly fires in the firepit, and I loved walking down the rocks to go explore the low tide. If I had to come up with some cons, I would say that it would be nice to have a railing to help you walk down to the water. Also, housekeeping could have vacuumed a bit better, and gotten the many cobwebs. However, it wasn't that big of a deal, there are plenty of on-site cleaning supplies at your disposal. We would love to come back!

This was the best home we have stayed at. The decor was great. Best part was the view. We sat in the chairs a couple hours each morning watching the seals, the crabbers and the calm diggers. Lots of Bay beach to explore. The ocean was not far and was magical. You can hear the waves crashing all night. Beds were comphy and the kiddos loved the bunk house. A place of their own. Thanks for the opportunity to stay. This will be a new yearly stay for us.

Amazing place to stay
Perfect location. Best view of the bay and Alsea bridge. Relax in the backyard watching the marine life and fishing boats. Walk down from the yard on to the shore below and dig up clams. Paddle out in front if house and drop some crabs pots to catch dinner. Walk down the street to the ocean beach. Can’t wait to come back again.

Second Stay and We'll be Back!
This was our second stay at Bayside and once again we loved it. There's nothing like waking up to the views of the beautiful bay and bridge. Wonderfully laid out home with plenty of separate space for the kids upstairs. We loved the Poang chairs and fought over who got to sit in them. Perfect home for a relaxing vacation of peace and quiet.

Fantastic place!
We loved everything about this house. The location was fantastic, we were able to clam and crab right from the house. We could also walk less than 5 minutes and be on a gorgeous soft sandy beach. Loved the windows for a view of the bay at all times. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with all of the kitchen tools we needed. Will definitely be planning a trip back!
