We've been coming to Castle Reef for over 10 years now and this is the first time we used Vacasa. The trip did not disappoint. Clean room, great view, easy access to elevator and the complex is close to just about every place you need while staying. Will be back.

Could have done with somewhere to store our bags while we waited for the 4pm check in time. Some flexibility would have been appreciated. Other than that great stay! Felt clean and recently renovated!

If you want to look out the window or sit on the balcony and see & hear the beautiful ocean, this is the perfect place to be! The sunrises are spectacular, too! It's a quick and convenient walk down to the pool area and great beach access. The unit is very clean and updated. Nice layout and new furnishings. I would have preferred a mattress with more support.
Overall, great time and will certainly consider a return visit in the future!

This updated condo was absolutely beautiful with a wonderful ocean breeze. It is extremely spacious and I would stay there again if I did not have to deal with VACASA. Due to the hurricane, there was not any beach access within a 10-minute walk. Everything in the unit worked well until the last 2 days. Not only did VACASA cancel this reservation and try to put us in a condo located across the road from the beach, but when we reported the 2 problems that arose, they never called back.

Really enjoyed the beach and the amenities. The view was great from the balcony and even watched some dolphins on the last day. Would go back if we return to the area.

Beautiful Location, Run Down Condo
The Castle Reef is a fine complex with an excellent location, great beach access, and very nice pool. Our particular unit looked like an abused motel on the shores of Myrtle Beach. The unit was not mopped prior to our arrival, the ceilings were black from dust from the AC unit, the ceiling fans were warped downward and rusted, one AC vent had an anti-bacterial wipe stuffed into it, one electric socket was falling out of the wall, and one closet door was broken off it's track. Chipped doors, no trim in the bedroom with chipped paint, and a dated kitchen. I reported the broken door to the property management company (Vacasa) but received no reply. I have pictures to back up all of these claims.
We actually had a wonderful week at the beach. The location is excellent, the beach was clean and not crowded, and the pool area was a lot of fun. Someone needs to invest some money into this unit to get it up to 21st century standards.

Great service recovery
We visited this site for my birthday. We were very disappointed initially because the whole place smelled like mildew. We notified the owner and she came immediately and sprayed the place and changed the air filters. When we returned there was no trace of mildew smell. The beds were comfortable and it’s decorated nice. Kitchen and bathroom could use some updating . Overall, it was a great stay. Right on the beach and a nice pool area.

Loved the condo - clean and comfortable. Property manager was quick to answer any questions we had. Great location! Short walk from condo to beach. Beautiful view and loved hearing the ocean. Great area - lots of shops and restaurants around. Would definitely go back!

All about location
The location of this property really makes it what it is. The view is fantastic and it's located on the non-driving part of the beach. The pool is right next to the beach which our kids really loved, and the beach was clean and pretty quiet. The condo could have used some more essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, etc and we were only given two dishwasher pods for 3 a day stay. Not a huge deal but we had to buy some of those items to last through our visit. The condo could use some updating as others have mentioned, but it's a beach property so you're not really there to enjoy the condo in the end. Overall, we loved the location and the size of the unit was just right for our small family!

Relaxing Weekend
The unit was perfect for our weekend stay. It was well appointed, clean and the oceanfront location can't be outdone on NSB. It was easy to overlook the few things that need some love (cracked entry mirror tiles, the late 70's kitchen & bath and the storage closet could use a proper door). We visited the Canaveral National Seashore which is a gem - just be sure to go early as parking is very limited.
We had a very comfortable stay.

The location is prime and the view is excellent. Having both the pool and the ocean is sweet. The condo is in dire need of updates. Entertainment systems are very dated. It worked and I had a nice time!

Had a wonderful time at condo. The view was spectacular. The condo had everything we needed. The pool and beach was easy to get to. The bed could be more comfortable however overall amazing.

Amazing views! Amazing place!
This condo was great! Clean and comfortable. My 8 yr old nephew said the kitchen is a “little dated.” But the appliances were newish and it had everything we needed and more! It was perfect. The view was the best and that is all I cared about! Loved it and can’t wait to stay again!

Sweet vacation getaway!
This place was very accurately described. Very lovely condo, right on the ocean with the BEST views! I LOVED sleeping with the sliding door slightly ajar to listen to the sounds of the waves. Bed was soft, a little squishy, but not uncomfortable. The ceiling fans need to either be balanced or replaced, but is a personal issue for me! I cooked the entire time I was there (1 week ) and brought a lot of my own items from home, but there was no cutting board so I purchased one and left it there, and there was no foil or baggies (bring them along). Shower was awesome, everything was meticulously clean, and I felt very safe and secure. Thank you!!

The property, neighborhood, condo, and beach access is perfect! Restaurants, ice cream shops, and a playground is right down the road from the condo! The room itself was not fully clean when we arrived. Both DVD players were broken. But the owner and vacasa were apologetic!
