Nadja and Chris were great hosts - they were always present (when needed) and helped to find options in Potrero.

Was all great - except for the weather. But this is a different topic.

Excellente location..views of the entire bay! very quite place! owners are great very helpful and very nice.. easy to get there and few minutes drive to town where restaurants, bars, coffe shops...supermarkets etc...

We regret to have found this property so late. There is literally nothing to complain. The apartment size is decent, bedding was nice, and the views from the room and pool was fantastic. Check-in and out easy and smooth. Friendly hosts. 5* for Horizons lodge.

If you are picky: there was a little bit of a strange smell in the bedroom. No breakfast available. And you are dependent on the neighbors quietness to enjoy the full possible relaxation level.

Everything! The place was perfect, beds are very comfortable. Beautiful ocean view. Chris and Nadia were very kind and welcoming. We had a great time and I hope will be back!

Chris is a fantastic host! He was always available to help and sent over a great list of recommendations. It was also nice to have a fully functioning kitchen in the apartment - we were able to make some of our own meals. The facilities were also spectacular - there was an outdoor workout area, really comfortable lounging and even an infinity pool.

Ideally, the house would've been closer to the beach but we honestly didn't mind that much given we made a lot of use of the facilities in the apartment

Not a criticism but you really need a car to stay there to get to restaurants and the grocery store.

Quiet, clean, modern place up in the hills away from the development of the towns below. Great view, comfortable bed, safe and secure. If we are in the area again we will not hesitate to stay here again. After spending time "in the action" in other locations, it was nice to have this little oasis above it all for a few nights.

Away from the center of town and in the hills. nice retreat to enjoy some peace. great infinity pool to dip into, where’d lounge area. even a little outdoor workout area and yoga platform if you wanted. We also went diving with Chris, who has a diving company.

Road to get there is unpaved and not advised for regular vehicles (sedans / compact cars). But there are parts of town that are also unpaved, as well.

Safe, secure, friendly and incredibly clean. Great views and rooms that really made you feel like you had your own apt. Will definitely be coming back!

View was amazing! Infinity pool, small but lovely. Very attentive hosts. Car needed as not walkable to restaurants.

Everything was perfect, great people, beautiful apartment with wonderful views and for me the most beautiful in that the silence all around, no distractions, 100% I recommend to everyone !!!

The condo is epic. Stunning view, pool, and even had a small outdoor gym. We don't normally use pools, lounge, or gyms areas but this place was so nice that we were in the pool a lot. You can watch all the colors of the dusk sky from an infinity pool on a mountain. It was clean, kitchen had great equipment, comfortable, quiet, with great wifi, hot showers and no bugs. The Swiss family that owns the property are very nice and hard working.

Fabulous location with amazing views from a beautifully constructed modernist house conveniently located 10 minutes from a small town.

Host and hostess are incredibly hospitable and welcoming people. They were very easy going, hyper organized, very approachable with any questions. Coffee and basic cooking seasonings provided. Toaster, electric water boiler, rice cooker, cutting boards, microwave, graters, knife selection were provided. Shampoo and shower gel provided. Thin beach towels provided. Area is fantastic for any offshore ocean water activities. We used two restaurants in town, Surf Box for breakfast and Coffee Nita for breakfast and coffee. Both were excellent. The town has wonderful access to the Catalina Islands. We highly recommend, we insist, if you book this property you scuba dive with the host. Chris Diving. He is a meticulous and safety oriented Dive Master. His team of fellow Dive Masters are top notch. His equipment is the best we have ever used for diving. He takes time to outfit his guest in proper fitting long or short wet suit, face mask and BC. He maintains a small group ratio of guest to dive master. Our group maxed at three guests per dive master. We individually received instruction/review on equipment use, overview of boat etiquette/proceedure and a descriptive overview of the forthcoming dive. He transported us to and from the dive location as our family car was used by non divers for the day. He instilled more confidence and sense of organized control, than any previous international or domestic dive operator we have ever utilized.

You must have a car to use this property. Apartment property is isolated and not a comfortable walk to town nor a walk to anywhere. Noise is an issue as apartments are steel and tile. Sounds of other apartment dwellers climbing stairs, using the toilet, closing or opening a door , speaking, travels through the building, of 4 apartments. Apartment was not inviting for 'lingering or hanging out'. The bed was fine, the apartment was efficient, but there was little ambiance. Sofas are steel mounted benches with plastic cushions. Perhaps the modern motif went too far and created a sterile environment. As long as you leave at dawn and return well after dark, the apartment is wonderful. Property directly in front of the apartment was in the process of being de vegetated during our stay. Check google images as a home may be built on that site, obstructing a view of the harbor/ocean cove, in the distance.

The entire place is tranquil and relaxing.. from the views off the porch/kitchen to the view from being in the pool brings the utmost relaxation

There honestly was nothing about the property we did not like during our stay! Pure perfection from beginning to end!

Beautiful House with the best view in a quiet area. The Owners are verry friendly, also there is a nice diving center. I saw a lot of sharks during my dive with Chris. Recommend!

Nadia and Chris are extremely friendly! The property is awesome - we were in striking distance of Playa Flamingo, Playa Penca, Playa Prieta, and Playa Conchal. We enjoyed the beaches, but we also loved the opportunity to relax in the comfort of the apartment. I would 100% recommend staying here!

I can't think of anything! I would recommend having a rental car/driver to access the property, however. It will make your adventures more seamless! :)
