Staff was very nice and accommodated to a late check-in. The entrance to the hotel is a bit complex and car will not go to the front door, so they came and meet me at the entrance upon my arrival and it was very nice of them.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable
It is located a bit out of the town. At night I didn’t feel comfortable walking here alone. Couldn’t get Netflix to work on the TV.

Nice small hotel, pretty basic but serves its purpose, clean, hot shower, nice staff, about a 15 min walk from the central park.
Breakfast could be better, only eggs and pancakes, they should switch it up or offer the local Guatemalan breakfast as well

The location was great, situated in between and small church and a secure parking. It was in walking distance of all the main sights in Antigua but slightly out of the main hubbub. We were there during Semana Santa and one of the processions went right past the front of the hotel. We could also go on to the roof to spectate further.
The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was home-cooked and well done. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The room was a little cramped for two large beds.

I really liked this hotel. The rooms was nice and clean and the staff was very nice and helpful and cleaned the rooms every day. The breakfast was also very good. We really liked the roof top and used lot of time there. In the night we sat in the roof top watching the Fuego volcano having eruptions while drinking vine. That was really cool! The next day we sat on the roof top watching the thounder.

The building is great, a lot of character - likely an old home that’s been remodelled. We also liked the area, an easy 7-9 min walk from Central Park. We stayed in a deluxe king room and it met our expectations. The bed & linens were quite comfortable and having a king sized bed in Guatemala is a luxury it seems. Hot water was always available, basic bath linens and toiletries were provided. They even loaned me a hair dryer while I was there (cold nights!), which reminds me I suggest you bring some warm socks if here in January, the tile gets chilly - we were prepared for the cooler temperatures but others were not. The room is not large but we were only sleeping and showering there so it wasn’t a problem for us, they also have nice sitting areas downstairs and on the roof with a view of the city and volcanos. The breakfast was included for us, I think if we had to separately for it we would have gone elsewhere; it was good but not great - but the convenience of having it there was nice. The staff are lovely and kind. The gates/doors close at 10 pm so just be aware to make arrangements if you’re out after this, no problem at all for us. We arrived late our first night and had called ahead, the hostess was very kind to wait for us. Spanish or a good translator app is necessary, which was no problem for us but again, just so others are aware. This place is sparkling clean and a nice place to come back to.
The hotel can’t help this and it only occurred a few times but the noise travels through this building very well, we could clearly hear people talking in the lobby from our room upstairs - it wasn’t a problem for us as we had ear plugs.

La Capitania was a lovely accommodation with friendly staff. We didn't have the breakfast but it smelled lovely. Room were a good size and clean.
The rooms come with a fan but can be very warm

Very clean and spacious room. Only guest at the hostel at the time of my stay. A little out of the way, about a 10-12 minute walk from the center. Right next to Ermita Santa Lucia. Good hot breakfast eggs, beans, plantains, assorted breads juice and coffee. Very attentive service by Lucy and Reina.
The lock for entering the hostel after hours is a little tricky. Also the address is confusing to drivers and tour guides. Best to say Ermita Santa Lucia, a clear reference point familiar to all locals.

Comfy beds, spacious bathroom, super nice staff.
Breakfast was great (with toasts, frijoles, eggs, pancake, fresh melon juice)
It was really expensive (although it was Easter time) for what you got.

The staff of this hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us. They are extremely friendly and made us feel at home straight away. The owner said that we should see the hotel as our home away from home and it definitely felt that way. The rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean (staff always checked with us if we needed cleaning, fresh towels or anything else). Breakfast was extensive and lovely, freshly prepared every morning. Location was great, all the sights are within walking distance. There is also a nice roof terrace from where you can see several volcanoes (Agua, Fuego, Acatenango). We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended!
Everything was perfect!
