Good rates for a nice place to stay on the private Seabrook Island which has beautiful nice private beaches to play on, run down, and watch dolphins.
We enjoyed eating out on the patio and watching the squirrels and other wild animals play.
The bicycle were so great with an attachable cart to drive with our stuff to all the beach accesses.
Very relaxed Island and overall the people there seemed nice.

Communication with Gary was great and everything is exactly as portrayed by the pictures and description. Villa is tucked way in on the island a short walk to the beach or bike ride to the equestrian center. Surprisingly there are no walking or bike trails but car traffic is light enough that this isn’t a big issue. The villa gets great natural light and beds were comfortable.

This villa was just about perfect. Location was great, easy walk/drive to beach and beach club parking. Villa was exceptionally clean with everything we needed at our fingertips. Gary (host) communication was spot on. We had zero issues. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to Seabrook.

Enjoyed our stay at Seabrook Island. The unit was just right for us and equipped with everything we needed. Our host the Holtz's were great and responded quickly when we had questions. They supplied us with bikes and amenity cards. The unit was convenient to the beaches. Thanks for a great stay.

Gary is among the best communicating and most responsive hosts we have ever stayed with. He regularly checked in before our stay to make sure we knew how to check in and then took care of small issues we had during our stay. The bicycles he makes available are game changers as we rarely moved our vehicle the entire week we stayed. He also provided a cart which was awesome when going to the beach with towels and other things. The unit is ideally located close to several beach access points, and is just right for a family of four.

In advance of our trip to the Charleston area, we were looking for a comfortable, well-located base from which to travel in our adventures. This property not only met these requirements but greatly exceeded them.
From the time of booking, throughout the process including our arrival and departure, Gary was the ultimate host. He was extremely helpful and prompt to all of our questions and provided recommendations. The property was clean, well maintained and stocked.
The bikes that Gary generously provides with the property were fabulous and allowed us to explore Seabrook Island. Our 9-year-old son said that the morning and/or evening bike rides were his favorite part of the entire trip. Seabrook island is beautiful and we were able to take advantage of the local beaches. We were even lucky enough to see the Dolphins strand feeding.
We explored other parts of the Greater Charleston area and the property provided the perfect base to set out from. At the end of each day, it was wonderful to return to Seabrook.

The good:
- Seabrook is a fantastic location and very quiet for families. Pool and beach were easy to access.
- Owner was VERY and close by.
- Top floor property, vaulted living room and porch create spacious feeling.
- Free access to Lakehouse pool.
- Great price point.
- Kids LOVED the bunch beds and had plenty of sleeping room.
What could improve:
- TVs are outdated and slow. Internet connection is fast, but kind of wasted on slow Roku/TV set. Master TV has to “warm up” kind of before starting. We don’t really use bedroom TVs, but noted bc others might.
- Beds are super comfortable in my opinion. Latex or foam mattress on them, could be upgraded.
- Owner is not a club member, which means you CANNOT get an amenity card and therefore you cannot access the beach house pool, unless they’re with another family or owner with access.
Overall
Great location, place had all we needed. Doesn’t have top end type of finishes, but clean and affordable. Owner cares, brings bikes, communicates, and is local.

We really enjoyed the location of this condo and attentiveness of the owner. It was a great option for our family of four. The amenities card provided access to the Lakeside Pool which was very nice but you do have to drive to get there. Beach access is closer than the pool and a short bike ride away. Seabrook Island is a favorite vacation spot and this condo did not disappoint.

Gary is extraordinarily attentive. He checked in with us multiple times throughout the process of our rental. When one of his beach chairs broke, he had two new ones delivered to us within hours. The bicycles provided were a great bonus. During our stay, he contacted us about an upcoming concert on the Village Green as well as other events. The villa was immaculate and more than enough room for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in his peaceful spot.

Gary was great with communication and taking care of things. The property is a short walk to the beach, where there are amazing sunsets. The "guest pass" is a HUGE plus if you like to swim and workout. The outdoor lap pool was the best. The condo is just as pictures and write-up describe.
I highly recommend checking out the dolphins at low tide, it's worth the walk, it's really amazing.
I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that the unit had fleas. Gary was on it to get it sprayed as soon as I let him know. It was just a bummer because it meant spraying down the car, clothes and bags hoping not to bring any home.

Best owners and great property
We had a great vacation and it started with excellent communication and amenities from the owners. Gary was easy to get a hold and communicated very well. They provided bikes for all of us for the week, and provided plenty of toiletries, and soap for us-things you usually don’t get with rental properties. We hope to be staying again. The island was beautiful and we found lots of sand dollars while there. The kids said it was the best house ever.

Anniversary Haven
My husband and I stayed for our Anniversary June 11-18th., 2022.. We had everything we needed for a great stay! We enjoyed riding bikes, the pool, and the beach was super close. Beautiful Island with shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful location with loads to do!
We traveled as a family of four from Michigan and had never been to South Carolina. The hosts were great at communicating the check-in and out process and numerous suggestions for things to do in the area. We loved biking on the beach, taking hikes, and exploring the sea after a storm. Our only issue the entire stay was that we didn't find the island as bike-friendly as we had hoped. Still, a lovely time, thank you!

Fun beach trip
Fun spot! We liked a section of the beach that was a little further away, so we appreciated the bikes. Please note they are old school style cruisers, so you can ride them on the beach as well. Pictures and descriptions are accurate, and we would rent from Gary again. We went before Memorial Day, and were lucky to miss any real crowds. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay in the High Hammock villas on Seabrooke Island. It was quiet and peaceful with the beach just down the street. If you want to escape the busier areas of Charleston, this is a great choice.

Relaxing
I, my husband, and our two boys stayed here for a week. It's located close to the beach; just a 5 minute drive. It is an end-unit and very quiet.
Gary, the host, was so nice and helpful.
The condo was clean and completely stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of soap, paper products, and even seasonings in the kitchen.

Great little spot
We had a great time in Seabrook Island. Gary was very accommodating and answered any question we had immediately! Very close to beach which was fantastic. Close (3 min)to Bohikit Market (amazing sunsets) and Freshfields (5 min) which has everything you could want in from grocery store to restaurants to shopping. The only thought I’d have would be to have a map of Seabrook Island in the unit and maybe a way to “buy up” so you could eat at the beach restaurant.

Wonderful Villa!
This beautiful Seabrook villa is a must stay for a weekend getaway or weeklong retreat. The owner saw to every detail, even dropping off bikes for our use. The location is ideal and not far from the beach. The villa decor is tasteful, beds very comfortable and there were plenty of kitchen essentials available that most places do not supply. I will definitively be back to stay!

Great place to stay!
The villa was very comfortable, it had everything we could possibly need and more, including a wagon to hitch to one of the bikes so we could get our stuff to the beach. There were several entrances to a beautiful beach not far from the villa. Gary stayed in contact during our trip to answer questions and provide any help we might have needed. I will definitely be returning!

Great rental for our family of 4
The villa was just right for us, with our 2 teens. The place was well appointed, with a good amount and variety of nice kitchen items, plenty of supplies (dish and laundry detergent, tp, tissues, etc). The bikes and beach cart included were very useful for getting to the beach with all our stuff. The Lakehouse was a nice perk included. We used the outdoor pool, indoor pool, fitness center, ping pong and pool table. Gary was a great host with tips to see dolphins and sea turtles, as well as quick answers to all our questions and needs.

Since he lives on the island, he was knowledgeable of the restaurants, shopping and wildlife happenings. He told us about the Loggerhead turtle nest and spots to see dolphins. Because of Gary we were able to see turtle hatchlings and dolphins feeding up close!
The villa was in a great location and perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the bunk beds! The villa was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need. I loved that the unit had a washer and dryer too, perfect for wet suits and towels. A 5 minute drive to the beach and about a 10 minute drive to shopping and dining at Bohicket and Freshfields.
Including bikes for our family and the amenities club card were nice touches.
We would love to visit Seabrook again and stay at this villa!

Island Get Away
Communication from owner was excellent before, during and after our stay. The two bedroom unit worked well for us. (3 adults) Kitchen well appointed with cookware, plates, glassware and utensils. Plenty of towels, and cleaning supplies on hand. Comfortable living space & large dining table. Bikes provided saved us from bringing our own. Quiet unit and balcony nice to enjoy in the evenings . Centrally located on High Hammock, bike ride or short drive to beach access. Stairs up to the unit and stairs to reach bedroom/shower/laundry, which were not an issue for us but worth a mention. Would return to this unit for sure. We had a wonderful stay!
