I have stayed here often. A great garden setting and pool. The staff were extremely helpful. Fantastic breakfast.

The Hotel felt very exclusive, right on the beach, and staff were absolutely brilliant. Everyone was friendly, helpful and always smiling. I spoke to a few and they said they like working there. I also met the owner - I didnt know he was the owner until later - and he was lovely, interested in knowing a bit about us and what we think of Colombia. Later we spoke to staff and they all said they like the oweners and they really care about the place and treat everyone well. The room was also super clean and confortable. Facilities were lovelly with tables for dinning near the pool, also louging chairs and hammocks around the garden. Great place to chill, read a book, have a drinks by the pool or the beach. It's very quiet overall - which you will apreciate as there is music and party in everywhere in this part of Colombia. It's peaceful and loads of nature around. Breakfast was lovely, fulfilling and we spotted so many different kind of birds near us every day while having breakfast by the pool. Also felt very safe inside, completely safe. Outside during the day as well (just dont leave stuff on the beach unatended), only at night that is not recommended to walk around. Overall we felt saver than Cartagena. The area was okay, but it's a bit far from Santa Marta (mainly because of traffic), in a neighbourhood with mainly condominiums and partment buildings. Cabs are cheap and Casa Verano can call one for you in minutes. Very convinient. The house itself, although it surrunded by building has a lovely garden full o plants and trees, also a large green area next door with lots of trees and birds, which give the impression is near nature, and the beach in front of the property. It's a great place to chill, go to the beach, do a tour here and there and spend time on the pool and the jacuzi. Excellent place, highly recommend. We loved it and really enjoed our time here. Not a negative, just to consider depending on your plans. If you want to party this It's a bit far from Santa Marta but mainly because of traffic. By car it can take 20 min without traffic, to an hour around rush hour. But this is not a problem as Santa Marta is lively and we really apreciated the peace and quiet when we came back to the hotel, every time :-)

A small boutique hotel which guarantees an exceptional level of service and offers the opportunity to relax and enjoy the hotel and its grounds. The hotel is situated on the beach and offers lovely gardens and a pool and jacuzzi. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The menu, although small, offers great local dishes, which we found to be delicious- the ceviche was fantastic. The WiFi was also very good, which was important as we needed to do some work on a couple of days.

I honestly can’t think of a single thing that we did not like.

make you buy your drinks with the hotel. very over priced. I would not return. there are too many hidden charges. I own a few hotels and this is not a good practice. and the reason I will not return. the hotel is not transparent. too many surprises at check out

I guess only 10 rooms. if you want to have your privacy there. it’s the right place. great breakfast. very friendly stuff. big rooms. comfortable rooms. direct access to the beach. delicious pina colada’s. private pool where you always have your space.

Everything was perfect

What a beautiful little hidden gem. If peace and quiet with rest and relaxation at an extremely reasonable cost is what you are looking for, this is your spot. The attention we received from the staff, Luis, Hector and Jesus was above and beyond. Yerson at the front desk is really pleasant. My room was super clean. The beds very clean and comfortable. They have a seating area with a fantastic view of the grounds. They offer a delicious complimentary breakfast. The decorum of the entire place is like having a home away from home. Being around the pool is like surrounding yourself in total paradise with their beautiful gardens, sounds of the ocean waves and the feel of the breeze. The beach access is steps from the pool. The climate is very hot but you can cool yourself off either at the pool or the ocean. I strongly recommend getting a massage from Daniela. She's great and you get a massage while listening to the ocean waves.

Absolutely sublime experience. Check in was smooth, we were greeted with pure professionalism and accommodation. The hotel foyer itself is beautifully aesthetic, with dark wood decor. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order every morning and very tasty, fresh juice and coffee/tea/hot chocolate. The staff were friendly, courteous, professional and kind, nothing was ever too much of an ask. The pool and jacuzzi were warm and beautifully lit up at night. The beach was literally outside the back gate and you could hear the waves washing against the shore whilst in the garden. Food and drinks were reasonable and good selection. I had the ceviche and fish and my partner had vegetarian food which was also available. Despite the kitchen closing at 7pm, there was always the availability to order food and drinks for delivery from a menu which the receptionist can provide upon request. Overall, a luxurious couple of days that couldn't have been better. Oh, and to top it all off, when we were leaving for the airport at 0400 for a very early flight, the receptionist had already organised a packed lunch for us free of charge as an "early breakfast"! We had the most wonderful time and will absolutely be back again. We couldn't recommend it more! Please keep up the excellent, bespoke service - it goes such a long way!
