It's a beautiful house, comfortable, spacious, clean and full of light! Stunning view and location. Elisabete was a very friendly and helpful owner. The awesome thermal baths of Dona Queija are in 3 min. walking distance! Don't miss the chance to wake up before dawn and listen to the birds singing!

The humidity. Our towels and wet clothes would never dry and the smell was strong if you left the windows closed. But I guess there's nothing one can do, it is a location with high humidity.

The views are spectacular, the house is bigger than it appears in the photos, the kitchen is very well set up for cooking meals, the hot springs are just at the end of the road and the village centre is a very short walk. Our host was very friendly and left us some local bread for our first mornings breakfast.

The hill to get in was a bit steep but well worth the climb.

Beautiful location with stunning views, easy walk into Furnas and hot springs just across the road, hosts were very friendly and informative, very large comfortable house with everything we needed we had a great stay!

The location of the Chalet is very good. It is within walking distance to the centre of Furnas where there a lots of things to do. There is a grocerystore at 180m and the thermal baths are easy to go to. The view from the chalet is the main thing why you should book this place. The sunrises are amazing! You can see the park and the hostsprings steaming in the morning. Its is a very big chalet that easily hosts 6 people. Two bathrooms and a big living room and kitchen. The property is one of the biggest in Furnas centre!. It is very stylish and reminded me of Cesar Manrique in Lanzarote.

You need to love wood stoves. To heat up the place (i mean every room incl bathroom) , you need to put on the woodstove and then wait for 45min to 1h before warm air starts blowing thru the system. If you're not used to handle woodstoves, then this might be a problem. The kitchen is not enough equiped for smooth cooking. The oven and cookingstation needs to be turned on with a lighter which i think is dangerous. The pans are crooked and bad. There is a bialetta coffeemaker, but not ideal if you are with 6 adults coffeedrinkers. The hot water works with a gasboiler, and heats up water when asked. But again, it is old and doesnt feel safe.
