Keuka Cottage ✧ Handcrafted Beauty on Lake's Shore — sunsets, fire pit, kayaks!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Keuka Cottage. Everyone was impressed with the space, the fine workmanship, and the amenities. The outdoor eating and grilling deck was superb. Fishing, swimming, kayaking, feeding the ducks and just enjoying the views and environment made for a great experience

Our family group of six had an absolutely wonderful week at this beautiful cottage in a perfect location on Keuka Lake! The cottage is right on the shoreline, making for quick and easy access to the lake and water activities. We loved the outdoor grilling/dining area and the fire pit for enjoying the beautiful sunsets. And the hosts were very responsive to all of questions - it was a great vacation!

The Craftsman Cottage is excellent . It’s true the wooden craftsmanship is very lovely. The decor is calming, charming and furniture fits well. The windows are large and views are beautiful. The kitchen is small but well equipped . The 3 bedrooms are plenty big and comfortable. The 2 bathrooms are fine and one has a tub. The living room is great for a small group or family to gather. The outside space is super, with plenty of places to sit and view the Lake.There are steps down to the cottage and more down to the beach. The dock is great and a fun place to fish or swim off of. It looks like soon there will be an outside kitchen and large deck to enjoy. Check in and out were easy. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Just returned from the most beautiful stay at this special home. Aside from the location, being perfect, the dock, beautiful and beach access a breeze. The interior Woodwork in this home was like nothing I've ever seen. The Home had everything you could possibly need was absolutely beautiful inside and you can tell how special it is to the owners as well. We felt super lucky to be able to spend time. Our family dog is still asleep from all the swimming he did.

Beautiful comfortable home. Bedrooms and kitchen were great! Living area a bit small but the deck and dock were perfect. Very well supplied and owners were great with communication . Highly recommend .

If you love stained wood (which we DO!), this cottage is perfect--beautiful wood grain walls and some ceilings with large windows overlooking sunsets on Keuka! Beds were comfy, and we each had our own bathroom and TV!! :o) The cottage was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. We even spent some quality time on the pier snacking with the local female duck!! Really nice, quiet place centrally located to Hammondsport and the surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent a delightful week with our grown children at Keuka cottage. The host stopped by to make sure we got in easily. The location was stunning and the home was beautiful and very unique. The amenities were perfect...kitchen well stocked, plenty of newer kayaks, comfortable beds and a lovely new bathroom on the lower level. The wood finishes in the interior are lovely. We hope to return again next year.

The property was very clean and fully equipped with everything to make our vacation a totally awesome experience inside and out. Also swimming and fishing was outstanding. Maybe that part should stay a secret!

Wonderful week at Keuka Cottage! The house was very clean, comfortable and accommodating with easy accessibility and beautiful views. The awesome fishing and long walks were a daily staple, and the house really has everything you need for an enjoyable and trouble-free stay!

We weathered the 2022 storm in this sturdy, warm dwelling right on the lake. All was as advertised when we arrived and we had excellent communication with Edwin and Allen before and during our stay. The craftsmanship and care that has gone into this house must be experienced firsthand.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Keuka Cottage. It is beautiful, with an interesting history related to the building of the cottage and personal touches, including beautiful pottery and tile made by a family member, that it felt more like we were staying at a family friend's place! We even got to feed ducks that ate right out of our hands. The master bed is really comfortable, and the updated bathroom on the first floor is quite lovely. Edwin and Allen were so very quick to respond to any of our inquiries. We feel fortunate that they shared their cottage with us and helped to create some lovely memories, and will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for daily swims, fall foliage, and fun excursions to small towns and wineries. Cottage is beautiful and well appointed. We had a relaxing time on Keuka Lake.

This is a great location with deck literally on the water and close Hammondsport. The cottage is well stocked with everything you will every need.

The property is absolutely lovely and Allen and Edwin thought of everything to maximize our lake experience. Any questions we had were addressed promptly and so many amenities and conveniences were thought of to allow for an awesome lake week! There was plenty of space for our family to cook, lounge, play, and sleep. The privacy of the location was perfect for our dog and the interior was beautiful with gorgeous woodwork and some modern amenities. The access to the lake and the views were stunning. We didn’t want to leave and we would definitely come back again!

Allen was great to work with. He provided us with a check in video since we were not able to meet with him at the cottage. He was nice enough to prep a fire for us in the wood stove.

Everything a lake house should be
House has the privacy we look for when renting. Enjoyed using the kayak, fishing off the dock and feeding the ducks! The house is fully stocked and has plenty of space for family fun. Owners are very helpful and responsive.

the owner did a great job organizing the cottage and the dock was a fun place to hang out and there is a lot to do in Hammondsport NY, Bota museum, Glen Curtiss, etc..

Great stay at Keuka cottage
Spent a lovely 3 days at the cottage. Allen was a pleasure to work with and even met us at the cottage to welcome us and texted during our stay to make sure all was ok. Location is stunning...beautiful views and so nice to go to sleep to the sounds of the lake. Enjoyed watching the family of baby ducks and also saw bald eagles and a blue heron. Lots to explore in the area as well. Wish we'd had another few days.

We just loved this property, the location was perfect lake at your door with a fire pit . With all the amenities you could possibly want. Beds very comfortable. Owner always available for your questions. We are definitely returning sometime in the summer. Couldn't have asked for a better 2 nights . Enjoyed every minute!

Wonderful Property
We had a fantastic week at this house. The house was clean, had everything you need, and is in a great location. Allen is also a great and responsive host. Fishing was great, wineries are nearby, and the lake is clean and great for swimming. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely family vacation
Our family had a great time at this lovely cottage. It was a great setting for our family. Our children are 11, 8, 6, and 2... they enjoyed swimming every day of our stay! The cottage had everything you need from enjoying the lake to cooking meals. Allen was easy to make arrangements with and his effort to ensure a wonderful stay was evident. This was a great vacation spot on Keuka Lake. The cottage was stocked with everything one would need. And the owner had added many personal touches to the decor.

Good accomadations, and plenty of level beach. Near to Hammondsport and Bath for any needs.
Lovely home, very nice, clean, great beach and all provisions provided as promised. If you forgot to bring something Allen had it there. Will definitely rent there again.

A peaceful stay on Keuka Lake
The property is very private and quiet and the lower road offers a nice place to walk. The kayak and paddle board were great fun. The wood interior of the cottage is beautifully done. Amenities were abundant. We also loved the swing on the lower deck. We enjoyed a lovely time!

We had an excellent stay at this property on Keuka Lake.
Great place for a family of four. In particular, we enjoyed the many water toys (paddle board, kayak, paddle boat, small motor boat, fishing equipment, rafts, etc.) provided. The interior of the house was clean, spacious, and beautiful (all wood). The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and basic ingredients. A large window allowed me to look out onto the lake while preparing meals. The master bedroom had a comfortable double bed and lots of storage space. Our two kids found the other two bedrooms to be comfortable. One bathroom upstairs and one downstairs - both with showers. We have been coming to Keuka each of the past 5 years and this was our favorite place so far.

Lovely Cottage on Keuka Lake
We just returned from a week long vacation at Keuka Lake. The house we rented from Allen is beautifully hand crafted by Allen and a lovely location. The children really loved being on the lake, swimming, using the kayak, paddleboat, fishing rods, floats and of course the fire pit for smore's. We highly recommend the property, the lake, and the village of Hammondsport for a vacation.
