Great cosy stay in a wonderfully decorated manor in downtown St John's. Owner was very helpful.

Great location, we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to see. Super interesting decorations and a lovely host.

A private bathroom would have been nice and maybe some eggs for breakfast.

Comfy Bed & self-serve Breakfast variety in a very peaceful old home, full of interesting memorabilia, delightfully renovated by Bill the pleasant accommodating host. Easy walking to downtown pubs & restaurants and bus stops. Great value - I plan to come back.

Very friendly owner, appreciated the offer of toast when I arrived late and hungry. Amazing place, like stepping back in time, real artefacts, a lot of time and money has gone into detailled restorations.

Enjoyed staying in this historic home with antiques displayed. Bill our host was wonderful. It was perfectly located to walk downtown or visit the Rooms, St. John's, the wharf. We had a very enjoyable stay.

I am just a morning coffee drinker, no breakfast but there were plenty of options.

Location, Excellent host, Eclectic manor home, unique in every way

No fresh fruit available with breakfast. A Water cooler, to refill our water bottles would have been appreciated. Although the authentic lighting was beautiful, the actual amount of light was very low & we had difficulty seeing in Room 2.

I absolutely loved staying at this property!! It was like a home away from home - a fascinating house filled with impressive collections of books, records and antiques, all beautifully displayed. My room was spacious and very comfortable but I was also invited, to explore the rest of the house and to make myself at home in the shared spaces.

Everything was great about our visit from our host Bill to the location to the room. The whole Jelly Bean Row House is a living museum of antiques! Memorable stay! Highly recommend!

The house is immaculate, and the attention to detail put into restoring and decorating is incredible. Bill was so passionate about the work he does and the care he puts into the house, it was infectious and I loved asking questions. I will recommend this to all family and friends visiting St. John's and recommend you stay here. What a beautiful introduction to Newfoundland.
