Lavender House is an older house, but beautifully updated and spotlessly clean, Electric blankets on all the beds. Everything you need for a lovely stay. Would highly recommend,

We stayed for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The property was private and had a great view. As it was cold we made use of the fire which was lovely. There was enough space and amenities for the 10 of us. Enjoyed the stay.

Only a short drive to the trendy Main Street of Maleny. Gardner Falls was a beautiful morning outing, a day at Australia Zoo, and a half day at Caloundra beach was a great way to fill our time.

We were very happy with the accommodation. The beds were super comfy and the property manager was excellent at getting back to us regarding more firewood. We did however have an issue with the second toilet so we were unable to use that which was a bit challenging with so many women are all in all it was excellent. We will come again and I would recommend for a group

On the Stayz site it states that Lavender House is 0.4km from the main centre of Maleny. This needs to be rectified, a long way away from main centre. Some Reno's have been started (bathrooms) but the ceilings are in urgent need of a clean and fresh paint. A couple of the beds are in urgent need of replacement, Fly screens need to be put in all the windows. But great views.

Needed flyscreens, back widow needed a strong screen to stop children from falling out , new couch needed , the TV's needed replacement ( didn't work)and the Wifi didn't work

Very spacious and plenty of room. It catered for what we wanted it for and the views are amazing. Didn't get to sit outside much as it was cold and windy. Will need to return in the warmer months, however it was great to have a fire place.

Overall a great stay, plenty of room, beds were comfy and we loved the wood fire. You need to change the distance from the township of Maleny. Your listing states is .2km from the town centre, but it's actually a 10 minute drive. Also, don't leave your bread out on the bench overnight, we had some hungry visitors who chomped into it, and left their calling card! 🤣

Needs a bit of love
The property was in a lovely spot, a great size with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was a good size for 5 ladies ageing gracefully. The kitchen was well equiped.
The views were amazing but the cobwebs at every window, dead bugs around light fixtures and a musty smell put a bit of a downer on the weekend. The shower in the large upstairs bathroom leaked a lot of water on the floor and the downstairs kettle just leaked.
We all thought that the house needed a “bit of love.

Family get together
Beautiful place and lots of space for a multi generational family gathering. Everything we needed was there. The only negative was the mice which took over at night and kept us awake scratching away at things. A hygiene concern with our crawling babies.

Relaxing weekend break
Unbeatable view right out to the Sunshine Coast. We could see the lights of the Coast as we sat in the cozy lounge eating dinner and drinking wine. It was quiet and private and warm and spacious. We will definitely come back another time.

Lavender house has beautiful views. How's was very musty on arrival and needed lots of airing out.
Tried to use the spa but the water was freezing. Waste of time having it. Aircon in bedrooms would be nice as can be very muggy.

Wonderful views and short drive to Maleny
Really enjoyable place to stay, with 3 bathrooms and enough space to relax and enjoy the views. House is a bit musty, but open it up when you get there and the musty smell goes pretty quickly. Plenty of room for up to 10 people. We had a great time there. Be careful of the spa if you have small children, it doesn't have a lock and small children if not supervised could get in without you noticing. (it is not in the house but away from it on the lower level) This really needs to be addressed with the highest priority!!
