Everything was perfect. The hosts thought of everything and many things we would not have expected. The location is beautiful, Elk everywhere! You can’t go wrong spending time here. We celebrated our 50th anniversary here and plan to do it again next year.

Fantastic cabin and property in Pine, AZ. Great for couples, friends or families. Close walk to restaurants and shops. We saw Elk everyday around the property! Fantastic hosts.

Everything about the cabin was as stated in the posting...and then some! The kitchen was very well-stocked which was so convenient for cooking at home. No need to bring some of those pantry staples. Extra supplies were also provided in the bathrooms just in case we forgot something. So helpful! The cabin was beautifully decorated and got us into the Christmas spirit. The little lighted Christmas tree on the deck was adorable. We didn't have snow during our trip but it was beautiful weather and we took advantage by hiking nearby and also walking the neighborhood. This getaway was just what we needed and exceeded our expectations. We hope to be back!

From the moment we saw a laminated note on the front door with “Welcome Melissa and Ashley” we were tickled pink like two little girls! Upon opening the door, I’m pretty sure we picked up each other’s jaws from the floor! Lol! I couldn’t do anything but say “OMG” while walking through the place while Ashley, on the other hand, remained quiet and “awestruck”. I’m believe her silence broke when we noticed the “welcome tray” with snacks and 2 bottles of wine sitting there, on the kitchen counter top, waiting for us with a warm smile. While I heard a low, slow “wwwoww…” out of her, I GULPED and got teary eyed. Words honestly cannot describe how amazing this HOME truly is..but I’ll do my best: Inviting, hospitable, warm, friendly, loving, VERY caring…literally almost felt like grandma hugged and kissed you as you entered the door, made sure you had every single thing you needed while you were visiting, tucked in bed each night and made you feel safe as you slept through the night, gently kissed you goodbye as you were leaving while speaking in soft words, “Don’t forget to come back and visit very soon. I’ll be waiting with open arms.” We loved, cared for and respected that home just as much as it did for us. I hope other guests will do the same. Thank you so much! With love! 1000 out of 5 stars!

This is a premier property. The home is gorgeous and I was made to feel so very welcome with such generous touches. A wonderful four days and I was blessed to see a gorgeous herd of elk come through the neighborhood.

Palms to Pines 2-story home with a deck overlooking the forest was better than expected. My first word when we got there was "WOW"! We were greeted by a welcome note congratulating us on our 30th anniversary and the home was very clean and decorated beautifully. Small details such as plenty of kitchen appliances and extra bathroom items in case they had been forgotten made it clear the owners took care in thinking of the renters having a pleasant stay. Communication from the owners through Vrbo was great and we knew ahead of time what to expect. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and we saw more Elk than people. The first night there we saw a Bull Elk bugling and a Mama Elk with her baby right off the porch. I could see why the reviews that I read were from many repeat renters and we look forward to hopefully staying there again.

We have been to Pine,AZ three other times and stayed at a different vacation rental each time. Deb’s Palms to Pines rental has been the absolute best. Clean, comfortable and the host provided goodies for us and the house is stocked with everything one would need.

Deb & Joe are fantastic hosts, from the welcome sign on the front door to the wine and treats, and a birthday balloon to help celebrate my birthday was greatly appreciated even a special treat for our dog was very thoughtful! They have decorated the cabin with amazing touches everywhere you look! I especially loved the driftwood horse on the 2nd floor. Beautiful and peaceful! We'll stay with them again!

So many thoughtful touches ! We will be back ! I loved the elk that stay around in back of the cabin very close ! Everything you could need is there . Just bring clothes and food . The Palms to Pines Cabin is exactly as was described. It is very lovely, cozy and homey. So much it was tough to leave. It was easily located, and very close to town (either Pine-Strawberry). Payson is not far as well. In town there are nice shops and a few restaurants. We went hunting for antiques and such.There's a grocery store down the road for any last minute needs.
Deb is very easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. She is funny and I enjoyed our chats. Deb and Joe went beyond providing some dry goods, canned goods and condements in the refrigerator. That was an added bonus although we brought our own food and such. It was a nice suprise. There was a variety of coffee and tea in the cabinet along with packaged creamers which we never used as we took our own Travel Keurig along with my Pumpkin Spice Coffee and PS Creamer. Its being sold in stores now and I can't leave home without it. In the refrigerator coffee creamer can be found if needed.
The interior of the cabin is decorated really cute with bears, cabin sayings and western theme items. This put smiles on my face as it reminded me of my brother who loves John Wayne. There is a JW Cookbook on the kitchen counter which has yummy recipes and beer barrels as decor which are very cool. Other western items may be found throughout; theme tired together. A cute corner welcomed any furbabies that are brought along for the trip.

This property was better than expected!!! From the minute you walk to the front door, you are greeted with a welcome note. Once inside, there were snacks, bottles of wine and since we brought our dog, a dog biscuit. In the bathrooms were a basket of essentials in case you forgot somethingl All these extra little touches were so appreciated.The cabin was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants. The wrap around patio was amazing and of course the elk came to visit each day. We highly recommend this cabin and will stay again and again! Cabin has everything you need and treats for your doggies which they found right away. Wifi log in on computer and they have 1 HDMI hook up it worked great for my Firestick.

What a great stay! The house was immaculate and well supplied. The location was so convenient to the town and yet you didn't feel like it. The deck was so inviting and relaxing. We would stay here again and again. Thank you to our hosts for a fabulous experience. We can't wait to go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Palms to Pines. Deb is great to work with and has done an amazing job with the cabin. We especially enjoyed the Elk and deer that stopped by daily! Charlie our Golden Retriever loved his special corner and the “treat” basket. We will be returning!

Clean, comfortable cabin with many thoughtful touches and wonderful hosts. The area is beautiful surrounded by trees and on the morning elk route. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with our pups and watching the wildlife. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Deb and Joe made our stay memorable from the time we got there. We were greeted with a personal message and complementary wine and goodies. The cabin is absolutely adorable !There is every comfort of home you could want. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck enjoying the peace and quiet along with visits by the Elk each day. We explored Pine and Strawberry shops and restaurants, we especially loved the pizza at the old Country Inn. We will definitely return to their cabin in the future! Thanks again.

COmmunication from booking to arrival was first class! When we arrived, we were treated to a personalized welcome sign on the front door of the cabin.
The cabin exceeded our expectations in every facet. We definitely felt like this was an escape, but the cabin had so many amenities that it felt like we were right at home too! From board games, just about every kitchen appliance you can imagine, condiments, extra pillows/towels, welcome snacks, and spare toiletries. I could go on and on!
We wondered if we were going to see any wildlife while visiting, and had elk visits during the evening just a few feet away from us as we sat on the balcony, both nights we were there.
The property was located near a shopping market and restaurants. We found plenty to do in Pine and Strawberry over the 2 night stay. Definitely look forward to visiting again!

We were welcomed with a wonderful gift basket and personal welcome message on the front door. The cabin was so adorable and we felt right at home. They had everything you needed to cook and be comfortable. We loved all the personal touches and that we were able to bring our dog. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come visit again.

Nice property in subdivision in the woods. Every detail accounted for by the owner -- holiday decorated, chocolates and wine left for our consumption, spare water bottles and everything needed for the kitchen. Bathroom extras provided. This is house is in a pretty spot in the woods with grill and seating areas on wrap around patio. Neighboring homes are visible from the patio but you are surrounded by pines and fresh air. Short walk to dining, entertainment and and village shops. We'll be back :-)

So, this is our second visit to Palms to Pines. It's so nice to be greeted with a welcome message on the front door. We were impressed with all the Christmas decorations, a lit tree and even one on the back deck! Although it rained most of the weekend, it did not hamper our ability to watch the elk and deer wander around the property. Joe and Deb made sure everything was provided to ensure our stay was pleasant and relaxing. We just want to say thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin, and we will return!!

We stayed at Palms to Pines a year ago for my husband’s birthday, and Deb and Joe create such a wonderful retreat with so many thoughtful touches that we returned again this year! Communication is a breeze, Deb and Joe provide everything you could possibly need for a cozy retreat away, and the love that they put into their home is evident in every detail of their warm, welcoming cabin. We’ll return any chance we get!

Our family had a wonderful time at Palms to Pines. We wanted a weekend to get away and have together and relax. The cabin was very welcoming and the communication with the owners is fantastic. There were a bunch of warm touches that really made us feel welcomed and at home. We can't wait to stay here again! It is a gem!

The fireplace works amazingly well at heating the whole house. I loved having Direct TV service too.
