The home is equipped with most anything one would need during their stay, like being at your own home. The AC in the living room helped with the humid days and nights, and the kayaks allowed us to explore the large lake. We enjoyed sunset paddles, and the fishing was excellent. The location is close to Acadia and Bangor. There are several security cameras inside and outside, allowed per Vrbo. I understand their purpose, however, I prefer to vacation without “big brother”. The chairs in the living room are visibly dirty/stained, and the dishrack in the kitchen was questionable. Everything else seemed spotless. There is no place for your non-perishables; every shelf in the kitchen is occupied. It would have been nice to have at least one shelf available to put our food. There were a lot of “leftovers” in the fridge from prior guests including eggs, and half used condiments that expired in 2021. The grass/weeds around the home were quite overgrown; it took away from the picturesque nature of the property. Lastly, you must take the trash when you leave and pay for it. We chose to simply take it home with us. It may seem petty, but When you pay $2500, these things should not be an issue. The bed was incredibly comfortable; The bathroom was spacious; great water pressure, sufficient towels. Communication was excellent and info we needed for the property was provided in advance of our stay. The lake was quiet …and those sunsets… who needs Cadillac Mountain, lol? We miss it already!

Can't say enough about this cabin. Amazing! Most important, it was it was so clean! Three full bathrooms for 3 bedrooms was a bonus because the kids got their own bathroom! The cabin had everything we needed. The basement TV room was great for my older son to stay up late. Big floating tubes, kayaks and fishing poles provided kept us busy. Easy day trip to Bar Harbor. The owner was very response to us during out trip. If in Maine again would absolutely rent again!

The pictures don't really do the place justice. Beautiful view of the lake. Great place to relax after hiking in Acadia or returning from Bar Harbor. You felt isolated and away from the crowds, but close enough to run into town for groceries or grabbing a bite to eat. Well stocked kitchen so the option to dine in and save some money was also there. We also had campfires 2 of the nights we stayed there to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

First time doing VRBO!! Excellent first impression. Easy and quick communication. My husband and I LOVE to fish in waders. The home not only gave us extraordinary views BUT the fishing was epic!! To be able to fish all around the lake in our waders was PRICELESS!

Our visit started with the owner being very flexible with our arrival time since we traveled with some perishable food items and wanted to get them into a refrigerator quickly. Communications with Fran was outstanding. If you plan on visiting Arcadia National Park, this is the location for you. The cabin is only 20 miles from the park. Another spot to put on your list is traveling to Stonington, ME. It is a quaint Maine harbor seaport. We spent 3 hours walking around the town and visiting a local craft, resale shop. On the way back to Ellsworth, we visited the Jonathan Fisher House in Blue Hill, ME and walked around this little town. The cabin is very comfortable. I was very impressed with the quality of pots and pans in the kitchen. Unfortunately, due to lack of snow and rain during 2022, the level of the lake is very low.

We had such an amazing trip, the pictures truly don’t do this property justice. We drove up at sunset and it was just breathtaking! Easy driving distance to Ellsworth for food and groceries and Acadia for adventuring. The owner was great and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be staying here again!

This is our second time at the property. It is just fantastic in every way.

This is the 2nd time my husband and I stayed at this wonderful house on Graham Lake. Once again, we found it to be a perfect place to stay - near to restaurants and shopping in Ellsworth, but not too far from all that Acadia NP has to offer. The house is very comfortable, and we were thankful for the bedroom AC when the temperatures rose into the 90s during our first couple of days. Fran always responds to questions within minutes. Wonderful vacation!

This was our second time renting and the cabin was just as good as we all remembered. You cannot get better views of the sunset than sitting on the deck. It is really peaceful but somehow still close enough to town which was great. Probably will be looking to make a 3rd trip! Thanks!

The location of this cabin is great. It is situated on a lake for beautiful sunsets. It's not far from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, but it feels far away from the crowds. We enjoyed the canoe to paddle on the lake. Our host was accommodating and responsive to out needs and questions. I would definitely recommend and rent again.

Our stay had a week filled with kayaking and fishing, big Bass! The sunsets were awesome! Acadia National Park was a short drive with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Secluded and quiet, but still close to town. The cabin is perfect! Lots of room, canoe and kayak, and fire pit. It had everything we could ask for. Great fishing, too! Cool little islands that are easily reached via canoe. We caught 6 nice sized bass, 5 smallmouth and 1 largemouth.

The property is in a nice spot. Everything is as described and I would be happy to stay there again. The only thing funny they do not have a garbage service and you need to take it out each day. Wish they could set something up. Still a great place though.

We enjoyed our stay. The lake view is beautiful however taking off the trash was a hassle in a rental car so be prepared for that.

The lake is right in the backyard to take a dip, go canoeing , or sit on the deck to view the stunning sunsets. Nice fire pit to keep you warm on the chilly nights. The owner was fantastic in every way, even giving different suggestions on restaurants & attractions. They even have a book of how the camp started and became what it is today. The property was very nice. Only 1 issue was a dehumidifier in basement area. It had a note saying to leave it on, but when you used other lights it would kickoff the breaker. Other then that the place was great.

This lovely house has a wonderful view of the lake, with kayaks and a canoe available. The house itself is beautiful, well-cared for and welcoming. The owner was available by email and was very helpful.

This is a beautiful cabin right on the lake with a great view. We were there in mid-October and the neighboring properties seemed to be empty. It was beautifully quiet with gorgeous color (we hit peak color change). We particularly enjoyed sitting around the fire pit looking out on the lake. For four 70 year olds, it was truly idyllic.

Had a great time staying at this beautiful lake house. The views of Graham lake are awesome, not to mention the Deer that wandered in to the front yard. Oh, and the Bull Moose that wandered up Graham Street. Easy communication with owner. Got everything as advertised. Absolutely beautiful property, inside and out! I would recommend this Property and Owner to anyone.
