Amazing stay! Wonderful lodge, the dining area outside is very romantic! You can book a private jeep safari for around 55-65$ per person! We even got a pickup from the beach (2 hours drive) and a drop off to Ella (2 hours) for a very good price. You can get lunch and dinner there since it is in the middle of the jungle! The staff is soooooo helpful and lovely Absolutely recommendable!!! Go for it!

Wadula Safari is an amazing place, located in a quiet, peaceful spot right beside a lake, very close to Yala National Park. Cottages are modern, comfortable and clean, equipped with everything you may need. They are surrounded by nature, so all you hear are animal sounds and you can easily spot monkeys and various species of birds while just sitting on the terrace. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, we really felt looked after. The food was delicious, rice&curry we got for dinner was actually the best we had in Sri Lanka. The safari they arranged for us was the highlight of our trip: it was perfectly organized and we saw lots of animals, usually without anyone else around. Highly recommended!

Everything about our experience here was perfect. The accommodation is set in a remote area next to a lake and really feels like you’re out in the wild. The bungalow was really clean and comfortable and we loved all the little touches in the room. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Our breakfast lunch and dinner were all very tasty too! We also did a safari tour through Wadula which I would highly recommend, one of the highlights of Sri Lanka for me!

Wadula Safari was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka ! The property is ran by two brothers, Dulaj and Chamit, who are so attentive and kind. They provide breakfast, lunch and dinner and cooked amazing traditional food. Meals are served in an outdoor dining area by the lake, lighten by candles at night - just magical ! The room was sparkling clean and they provide toiletries as well. The property is settled in a jungle forest and you can spot black face monkeys and elephants. it feels so secluded, peaceful. our stay was incredible and we highly recommend it ! Clem and Leo
