It was clean and tidy and functional but nothing more

There was no comfortable place to sit, nothing cosy that I expected. Just no frills at all. For three days it was tolerable.

Jonathan was a lovely host. Friendly and very welcoming. (It was a pleasure to also meet his mother). The accommodation was clean, quiet and extremely comfortable. Water and refreshments, etc were made available in the room. The property itself is beautiful. The offer of the use of the dining room to prepare and eat our evening meal was gladly received, as was the secure location offered to store our bicycles in during our stay. Breakfast was ample and set us up for a further day of cycling of our tour. I would definitely recommend a stay at Le Pontent.

Stayed here one night on the way to Bordeaux. Good honest accommodation with simple comfortable rooms. Host was pleasant and polite. Arrived late and departed early.

The room I stayed in had a bathroom across a small corridor which had a locked access door separate to the room. Could make some guests feel strange knowing there was a 2nd access point to their room. But was fine, more than likely the layout of the house.

Great host, very friendly and helpful. The room was superb, modern, clean and top class.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Jonathan, the host, made us very welcome. The hotel, has been sympathetically restored, and is situated in a very large garden. In the dining room, each of the guest rooms is allocated their own crockery and cutlery, in case they want to cook something for themselves. We walked to Miramont-de-Guyenne for dinner. Jonathan had given us several suggestions of places to eat and rather than drive even further we took the opportunity to have a very pleasant walk away form the main road. We saw several lizard orchids and had dinner in Miramont-de-Guyenne. The internet was good

Water Pressure in the shower was a bit low. Other than that all was perfect.

Lovely room, we appreciated the kettle/tea facility. We had use of a fridge and the dining room. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. The host was exceptionally helpful and kind. Would highly recommend
