Nice little cottage.

Myself and three other friends were able to have a mamas’ weekend away in celebration of our friend getting married in October. We bought matching pj’s, did face masks and watched a movie while snacking on ice cream sundaes! The house was perfect for our weekend! Communication was incredible, the home was immaculately clean, and the space was perfect! It was a very short walk to the beach and close enough to restaurants and shops! I would highly recommend booking your next getaway here!!!

Mike was great about checking in with us before and during our stay by text to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean and cared for. Quick walk to the ocean, just wished it wasn’t raining! It was perfect for a graduation weekend.

We came in for a wedding in York Beach and this property was very clean, easily accessible and comfortable for our short stay. Mike (the host) was wonderful at communicating and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

The property is very clean. The layout of the house is a little awkward, but we easily adjusted. The beach is easily accessible. The owner is very accessible and helpful. The house is convenient to Kittery, Ogunquit, Cape Neddick AND a grocery store.

This York house is in a quiet neighborhood and an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. The house was well-stocked with all the essentials and some nice extras like an assortment of coffee and tea. Mike was very helpful and very responsive. The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

My friends and I rented this property for a long-overdue girls weekend. It was exactly as advertised, but even more remarkable was the property owner, Mike. He checked in with me the morning we were to arrive to welcome us to his home and let us know the property was ready whenever we wanted to check in. He did a similar thing the day we were leaving: checked in with me in the morning to wish us safe travels home and let us know that we could stay until late afternoon if we wanted since he didn’t need the property until then. We thought that that was very generous of him! In addition, I had a few questions during our stay, and Mike got back to me within minutes each time. And, when I offered some minor feedback on how to make the property even better, not only did Mike consider my suggestions, but he thanked me for them! It’s difficult to anticipate guests’ every need, so I never expect a property to be “perfect”; what’s important is that owners attempt to get as close to perfect as possible, and Mike surely does. We hope to return in the future!

There were 8 of us and some Saturday visitors, easy open space. It would be nice to have had a fan in the small restroom,, that many females and buts are challenging. Fun time making memories.

Our group of five had an amazing girls' getaway weekend here in early November. The house was perfect: quiet, clean, spacious, bright, comfortable: everything we needed. And the proximity to the beach was wonderful! It really was just a short walk, and we sat and watched the waves and the surfers (there was an extra high tide when we were there and some great action) and basked in the sun, wrapped in our jackets and blankets. The kitchen was well-stocked, with plenty of dishes and pots and pans which were in good condition, as well as lots of basic staples (salt and pepper, oil, etc.). I don't think we ever did find any zip-lock bags or saran wrap, so you might want to bring some of your own, unless we just weren't looking in the right spot! I could have asked, but I never thought of it : ) We sat and talked for hours on the super comfy sectional, we played board games and laughed our heads off at the dining room table, we were toasty warm as soon as we wanted to be with the central heating, and all in all we had a truly wonderful time. Mike was super easy to work with. The one time I had a question, he responded super fast and gave us exactly what we needed. After the visit, when I mentioned some issues with a couple of the upstairs beds (a saggy mattress on one, and a squeaky box spring on another), he responded and said he would address the issue right away. Because we were coming just for a weekend in the off-season, he generously told us we could check in early on Friday (although none of us could get there that soon) , and offered us late checkout on Sunday too (which we gladly took full advantage of!). We had a wonderful weekend, and would not hesitate to return to this exact same place if we ever get the chance.

Had a great time

My daughters and I always take a weekend in September for a girls weekend away to Maine. A chance to relax, shop and eat out. Mike’s house was so clean and comfortable. He was extremely accommodating to our needs. The couch in the living room and the beds were very comfortable….we enjoyed our kcup coffee choices that he left for us. Nothing like enjoying a cup of coffee while walking on the beach only minutes away from Mike’s house. We would highly recommend you spend some time there… Chris

This was an excellent choice for my daughters and I to just spend a few days of down time from busy lives.

We absolutely loved everything about staying at this house! Extremely clean even for my friend who hates germs lol. We even did a paint night on the deck and it fit all 7 of us. My only complaint would be that the pillows were flat but that’s if I had to find something to complain about. Everything was truly great and I will be staying here again! Also, a great location! Close to the beach, downtown York and 20 mins from Portsmouth nh for great dinning!

Michael was a fabulous host and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We hadn’t even checked out before we all decided this is where we want to spend our next trip back to York! You will not regret booking this for you next beach trip!
