This house was just the right size for our small family. We used the solarium as a playroom and had a wonderful stroll on the grounds. Would love to go back again next year to the same house! Bed were super.confortable too!

We liked the property. The pool was perfect and the cottage was lovely. We would suggest a fan in the three season room. It was uncomfortably hot in there so we bought a fan in order to be able to use it. We have stayed at many VRBO or AirB&B properties and have never had to wash the sheets and towels that we used. This really put a damper on the ending to our vacation. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We were asked to replace anything that we used up such as dish liquid, toilet paper etc. in order for the next guests to have these supplies. Again, this was unusual. The location is perfect as you are close to both Wells beach and Ogunquit. Check in was easy.

We did have a small issue checking in (partly my fault) but the owner was quick to respond and sorted everything out. Make sure to E mail before arrival. The cottage is in a great area and the complex is lovely. We sat by the pool for an afternoon and we were the only ones there for a while.
My only minor criticism would be the lack of storage in the 2nd bedroom- there is nowhere to hang clothes and one of the drawers was missing. Also we had to look through the drawers to find the bedding for the main bed as none of the beds were made. Not a big deal though and I would definitely recommend this cottage and would stay here again if we were in the area.

I recently staying at the property with family and it was everything we could have hoped for. The cottage was lovely and clean and had EVERYTHING we needed. The owner thought of everything down to the finest detail.

This cottage was perfect for our trip! Shawn was great to communicate with. The home was stocked with everything we needed. It was clean, there were tons of towels, extra linens, beach gear… Everything was exactly as described. We loved it!!!

Property is located on a quiet traffic circle in the large Beach Dreams complex; a real plus! Some of the other properties have dirt parking area; this one has paved parking on the circle, close to the front door. Some of the others are very close together; this one has some space between it and neighbors, so it does not feel too close to anyone.

My mother, 6 year old daughter, and myself had a great time in the Beach Dreams complex. It reminded us of a campground, and everyone there was so friendly and nice. Our cottage was in the PERFECT location for my daughter to ride her bike, as this house sits right on a little loop surrounding a Bocce court. This cottage was also closest to the pool and Rec room which are right across the way. We enjoyed having our breakfast outside on the little patio table. One day it rained and I enjoyed reading on the enclosed porch. The kitchen pots, pans and glasses etc. were clean and new. It was well supplied with other kitchen needs such as a Keurig, sandwich bags and napkins etc. The community is on Route 1, which is a busy street to cross if you're biking to the beach like we did, but lucky for us there is a cross walk right at the entrance to the community! So we enjoyed the short bike ride to Moody Beach, North Beach, and Wells Beach. Lastly, the owner Shawn was wonderful! It was pure chaos the morning we checked out due to an unexpected walk in clinic visit, and we were grateful Shawn was so understanding of our circumstances.

Wells extended weekend
We really enjoyed our stay! It was very easy communication with the owner/host Shawn. The home itself was very comfortable. The location was quiet. My Mom loved the 3 season porch. It was easy to get to all the different places we went to including the beach, shops, and restaurants.

Disappointing
We were responsible for cleaning the linens before leaving. I didn’t pay an outrageous cleaning fee to do their job. This place wasn’t cheap and we ended up leaving a day early due to the mice wandering around at night and getting into our groceries on the counter. They need to clean up their act , quite literally.

Fun family vacation
We loved this cottage. It is very centrally located within the complex right next to the main pool so very convenient w kids. Central ac did not work and we communicated w the owner about this. The ac unit worked but it wasn’t a very hot week so we were ok. I would worry it wouldn’t be enough on a hot humid week. House has everything you would need - don’t bring much! Beach gear and toys as we as umbrella available to use as well as games to play in the home. I would bring my own sheets and towels next time FYI bc you are expected to wash and dry and have all linens and towels folded before check out. It makes for a stressful checkout day because the washer and dryer are small and takes awhile to dry heavy towels and sheets. Just something I wish I had known. Overall a great stay. We loved the cafe across the street for coffee and sandwiches ( get the gobbler!) and we loved biking around the complex w the kids. Complex has a great pool and hot tub as well as gym.

Great cottage in beautiful Wells, ME
My family of 4 (two girls ages 11 and 5) really enjoyed ourselves in this adorable cottage! Location in the beach dreams community is probably the best area for a young family as it is right across from the main pool and it has a nice green area in front to play on / nice cul de sac to ride bikes around. Cottage was clean and had anything you need including beach chairs/ umbrellas/ toys. Plenty of board games and some movies. Shawn was responsive to all emails I sent. The one downside ( and it’s not to be negative more of an FYI) is you are expected to wash and dry all your sheets and towels and have them all out of the dryer and folded before you leave. This makes for a stressful check out morning as the washer dryer is small and doesn’t dry things fast. If we rented again we would bring our own sheets and towels to have a more relaxed last morning. Just an FYI. Central air didn’t seem to work for us but the wall unit was working fine and we didn’t have a super hot humid week so that was ok! Definitely would recommend this cottage! One more thing- drive slow in the community… the owners here are all nice but definitely get upset w renters driving above the 10 mph limit which is definitely needed as many kids / families live and rent here.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house truly had everything we needed to ensure a smooth vacation. Location is great as it's very close to many beaches and just a short drive to neighboring towns. We'll definitely be back again next year!

Short getaway
We had a shortened vacation due to plans changing with Covid restrictions and found this place on short notice. Great location, good price, clean, nice amenities, 15 minutes to the beach. Even though the arcade room was closed down because of restrictions, we enjoyed the pool and tennis courts. Would definitely come back and have already told friends about it.

Lovely Cottage
This property was fully loaded with every thing you needed for cooking. Utensils, pots, casserole dishes, etc. Amazing! I have never rented a place that had so much to make your stay very enjoyable. It is quiet, and centrally located for dining out and the beach. Good find!

Excellent family accommodation
We had a great stay and the house was perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The house was clean, plenty of space with a well equipped kitchen with washer / dryer for post beach washing! Just a mile from the nearest beach and 2/3 from Ogunquit. The kids also enjoyed an evening swim in the pool which is a one minute walk from the front door.

Looking for a nice, cozy beach house in Wells that can accommodate a small family? Look no further! My wife, young daughter, and mother-in-law spent a solid 5 nights in this beautiful little home located in a nice community about 10 minutes up the road from Ogunquit center. You can even fit up to 6 or so people as there are bunk beds, a pull-out couch, and double bed. The cottage also has a very nice all season porch and a cute little patio with a table/chairs and gas grill. The owner was very hospital when I contacted him with a question I had regarding parking permits and he responded to me promptly. Again, this is an awesome place to stay even if you are mainly wanting to visit the Ogunquit area. There is a large pool, kiddie pool, and hot tub for guests to use as well. We very well may book a full week at this same cottage next summer if it is available! Highly recommended!

Awesome Cottage! Highly Recommend
The Sea Urchin’s cottage was clean, updated and spacious. It’s in an awesome location between Wells and Ogunquit. We really enjoyed our time and would highly recommend! We loved how the community was gated and it was family friendly. The main pool was awesome and a quick walk from this cottage. This cottage was in a perfect location because you do not have neighbors directly on the left or right.
Shawn was very nice and thorough in his directions, and also very fast to respond.
There is also a cute little coffee shop across the street from the community, it was a nice little morning walk we looked forward to each morning.

Great home for a beach vacation!
We had a great stay at this beautifully decorated home. It has everything we need for a beach vacation. It is decorated with beach theme to every corner. It is good we can use kitchen, grill, washer and dryer, just like staying at home. The owner is very considerate to stock up kitchen utensils, beach towels, even sand toys.
The owner, Shawn, sent me an email before my vacation on things to know, and also an email last day of our vacation. This kept us organized.
I love the location of the this vacation home. It is situated in a gated community. It is quiet and private. The unit is very close to the community pool, hot tub, fitness room and the game room. In front of the house there is a common lawn with picnic tables.
The house is also convenient to everything: beaches, restaurants, supermarket, movie, mini-golf, ice cream shop etc. We spent our whole vacation within 3 miles of this hole. We love this place.

Perfect cottage for our Wells vacation!
Fantastic location just a short walk from the pool. Convenient complex close to everything. Full stocked including linens, towels, etc. Nice not to have to pack everything under the sun! Nice to have central air for when it got warm, washer and dryer to come home with clean clothes, and even a dish washer! We had room to move about, cook meals, and entertain family who were staying in the next town over. My one and only complaint would be that the master bedroom matrress could use replacing as its a bit springy, but we would definitely stay here again.

Spent four days over the labor day weekend for my nephews wedding. Cottage is modern, clean and well appointed. Complex was the same with helpful and friendly staff and neighbors. Didn't get a chance to fully utilize all the amenities or see all that the area has to offer due to a very busy schedule but hope to come back again and try them all out. Owner was very professional, prompt and helpful. No issues whatsoever with keys, checking in, equipment etc

If was our second trip at this cottage and everything is perfect. We were 2 adults and 5 children and there were enough room for everyone. The cottage is well located for the beach, the pool, the grocery store and everything. It's also few minutes from Ogunquit by Car or by Trolley. Owner is easy going. Hope to stay there again :-)

This two bedroom cottage was a joy to rent. It is very well equipped with all the conveniences of home, and an especially well equipped kitchen. It is tastefully decorated, very well maintained, with a comfortable sun room. There are multiple flat screen TV's with premium channels. The AC worked flawlessly in the above 95 degree heat wave that persisted during our visit. Overall you can see the owner takes exceptional pride in this property.
The cottage is located on a small quiet circle, nicely off the community’s main road, and just a two minute stroll to the large pool within the family oriented property.
It is closely located to the best beaches in Wells and a short easy drive to restaurants and shopping. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the streets by the ocean road for cycling. To wrap up, this was an exceptionally pleasant cottage for our stay.

This cottage is everything we could have wanted for our "Home away from Home" vacation. Our youngest daughter attends University of New Hampshire and this beach community home is just 25 minutes away. Everything in the cottage is exactly as charming, clean and well maintained as described on the website. Having use of the owner's towels, linens, kitchen appliances/pots/utensils, beach cooler, chairs and umbrella were all an extra bonus not having to haul all the way from PA. And they were all good quality and in perfect working order. The gated community's beautiful clubhouse/gym/game room, large pool and hot tub were right across the street. The community cocktail party, BBQ and breakfast over the July 4th holiday was great fun and free to all! This house is definitely worth the money. We would go back in a heart beat!

This cottage was simply perfect! Not only was it very clean, and well furnished, but quiet at the end of a culdesac, We very much enjoyed the Beach Dreams facilities and location to beaches and the cute little towns of Wells, Ogunquit, and Kennebunk Port. Our family of six slept comfortably, and can not wait to go back next year!
