We have been doing a family beach trip for 22 years now - this year there were 14 of us ranging in age from 1 to 75. Can’t say enough good things about the house. It is stocked way better than most houses, great bedrooms, plenty of space for everyone and having an elevator is amazing. The beach is a very short walk away - very clean and car free.

This was our third time to stay in this home, and it did not disappoint! Large living areas, plenty of seating at the dining table, a full kitchen--the house has everything our large group needed for a getaway. The location is great,
at the end of a quiet street with easy beach access and beautiful view of sunset. We were sad to see the signage for a new development planned for the green space next to the house but hopefully that will be a long time coming. We hope to back again next year!

This was our favorite place to stay in Galveston so far. It worked really well for our traditional family beach vacation.
I am very particular about cleanliness. This house was one of few that was up to my standards. This was the most important characteristic I was looking for (aside from being in the right place and having the right number of beds). This is a very well maintained house.
There was plenty room for everyone. The beds were comfortable and the layout is nice for a group of families.

The views of the beach are amazimg from the decks! It is very easy to access the beach, just a few steps and you are there. The beach was fairly private, with only a couple other families from the neighborhood and a big open empty stretch on the right.
I think it is very likely that we choose this location again next time!

This house was perfect for a quick weekend with friends. We hosted a crawfish boil and there was plenty room to accomodate overnight guests. 15 second walk to the beach was ideal. Make sure to bring mosquito spray, but everything else was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at this very convenient spacious beach house. With small children the elevator was very helpful in getting them up and down as well as our supplies. The beach is steps away and sitting out at night on the decks watching and hearing the waves was wonderful. We had no issues - everything is right there for a long beach weekend!

Great home but the house between us and the beach had 2 dogs that were barking non-stop all day and most of the night. The family that had the dogs appeared to be the owners of the house as they were doing repairs. The dogs were less than 20 ft from our bedroom. The 10PM to 8 AM quiet hour certainly did not hold true in the neighborhood. Al Ward

This house was perfect for a “home base” for our family reunion. The elevator was so much appreciated for bringing up groceries and items as well as access for our elderly relatives. The walk in shower was big enough for a shower chair and perfect for our elderly relatives that stayed. The house was beautiful with a wonderful view of the beach. We felt like we had our own private beach as this part of the beach does not allow cars. Can’t say enough about the condition of the house. Everyone had a great time! Thank you to the owners who responded quickly with the code issue to get into the house.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this home. We easily fit the 6 cars we had into the garage/driveway. The large table was great for our group of 11 people at meal times. There were lots of side tables for puzzles/games. Watching a big storm roll in from the Crow's Nest was one of the trip highlights. The beach was an easy walk away and there were usually very few people on it, which was nice. The porches overlooked a lovely field with a nice view of the ocean, especially for being the second row of houses back. The owners were very responsive with any issues that came up and did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed our vacation at this home and would go back again.

We had such an awesome time! I've rented in Galveston 5 times, and this house was very accommodating with all the bedrooms and open living areas and being able to eat together because of all the seating and room. We would not hesitate to rent this again.

Check in was awesome. We had two people on walkers staying, so having an elevator was important. The house is in a great location with wonderful beach views and fully stocked with what you need. Our only hitch was the elevator breaking on Saturday evening. We had to carry my dad down three flights of stairs. There was no one to look at it over the weekend and so we had to haul all our stuff down three flights of stairs on Sunday - not a big deal, but my sister had to be carried down. That was a real bummer. It’s a very nice house though.

This house offers large rooms and lots of seating to easily accommodate groups. Beautiful views from west side of home and easy walking path to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped. Elevator makes it great to get personal belongings to various levels. Excellent communication with owner.

Good 3 night stay at this property for the Labor day Weekend.
The home is very spacious with lots of room for a whole family like us. Elevator came in handy with our elderly parents and when you just didn't feel like climbing stairs. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make meals in the home. There is a ton of deck space (shaded & non shaded). The home is a short 1 minute walk to the beach (no cars allowed) which made the stay even better.

We had three couples, one mother, and 7 children ranging 5-20 years old. Sleeping arrangements were pretty much perfect for us. The closeness of the beach was amazing because we could set up and those who wanted to stay could and those that didn’t like being out there as long could go back to the house. We chose mini golf, Rainforest Cafe, and a Pleasure Pier and all were easily accessible. I loved our stay and this house. We decided to stay an extra night and the process was very easy. I’d choose this house again if our extended family decides to vacation to Galveston again in the future.

Beautiful home with great ocean views
We chose this home for our family summer vacation. Highly recommend if you have a large family. The home was very clean and lots of little extras that made you feel like you were "home". We loved how close the beach was so that we could go back and forth easily. Kitchen had plenty of space to cook and serve food. The main floor is very large and was perfect all 17 of us to gather around for our game time in the evening. Decks were perfect for drinking morning coffee and watching the beautiful sunsets. The elevator was a blessing as it is hard for our 80 year old mom to navigate the stairs. Only problem was a/c shut off at 8:00ish the day we were set to leave. Got very hot very quickly as we packed. Not sure if it was an issue with the a/c or if it is set to do that on departure day but made the last 2 hours very uncomfortable. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic House!
I cannot say enough good things about this house! We had a wonderful stay there with our family consisting of 10 adults and 8 children ( infant to teen). The house is so spacious that we never felt crowded with that many people. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed for a large crowd. The decks offer amazing views of the beach and ocean and again there was plenty of seating for all. It takes less than a minute to walk to the beach and enjoy such a quiet part of the beach. The large outdoor shower was wonderful to clean up the children before returning inside the house. I would definitely stay at this house again and I highly recommend it.

Spent the weekend with 3 BBFs, put daughters and granddaughters. The house was great. Plenty of room for granddaughters h to o spread the wings.

Safe get together for young adults.
Me and my wife chaperoned 15 high school seniors for a couple of days after prom. The beach house had plenty of room for everyone. There are two bedrooms that share a large bathroom that was perfect for the six girls. Also has a bunk room that slept 6 boys with another on a couch and another in a 4th floor room. Me and my wife had room that was perfectly situated to ensure separate quarters were maintained while the kids were sleeping. Another father had a room on the third floor. There is an elevator that makes arrival//departure much easier. There was plenty of room for the kids to enjoy themselves without feeling smothered and the adults to maintain supervision at a distance. The house is well stocked for every situation both indoors and out with a very short walk to the beach. I would love to stay again under different circumstances.

Best Stay Ever
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this home. The home was more than the description and pictures revealed! The beds and bathrooms were worth the stay themselves! Lol! It’s located in a beautiful neighborhood with breathtaking views from every room of the house and not far from restaurants and shopping! We will definitely be back for a week! Owners provide everything that you need and things you didn’t know you needed! We greatly appreciate them allowing us the privilege of staying in their beautiful home!
