El Hipogeo consta de salas, cámaras y pasajes excavados en la roca viva y que cubren unos 500 metros cuadrados. Las cámaras de corte de roca son de diversas formas y tamaños, terminadas con diferentes estándares de mano de obra. El complejo se agrupa en tres niveles: el nivel superior (3600-3300 a. C.), el nivel medio (3300-3000 a. C.) y el nivel inferior (3150 -2500 a. C.). La habitación más profunda en el nivel inferior es 10. 6 metros debajo de la superficie de la carretera. El nivel superior consiste en un gran hueco con un pasaje central y cámaras funerarias cortadas a cada lado. El nivel medio consta de varias cámaras de acabado muy liso, que dan la impresión de mampostería construida.
Comino
Situada entre Malta y Gozo, la isla más pequeña de Comino es un paraíso para los buceadores, buceadores, windsurfistas y excursionistas.
Solo 3. 5 kilómetros cuadrados, Comino no tiene automóviles y, aparte de un hotel, está prácticamente deshabitado.
La atracción principal de la isla es la Laguna Azul. En verano, esta entrada protegida de agua de aguamarina brillante sobre arena blanca es muy popular entre los excursionistas. Otras playas de la isla incluyen la bahía de Santa Marija y la bahía de San Niklaw.

The property is generously proportioned and is as described in VRBO.
It was spotlessly clean as was the pool and surrounding outside areas. There is some building work going on next door but this did not impact our stay in anyway.
We did not have any problems with ants but did have an issue with flies one evening. We worked this out to be related to the Organic waste bin which was due for collection the next day. So we moved it away from the table area for the rest of the evening. There are refuse collections most days and Sandra has noted the bins to show what gets collected when. Although we couldn’t find anything for bottles.
We had a hire car for getting around the island and the Maltese do not seem to abide by any rules of the road especially at roundabouts. This was obviously not under Sandra control but just feel other visitors need to be aware.
There is a Covenience Store about 5 mins walk away they have gluten free items and Lidl is a short drive for everything else.
Malta has a fascinating history and is well worth a visit. The property is only 15 mins from the airport.

The Villa itself was very nice and clean and had all as required from pool to air con to Wi-Fi. Overall a nice Villa and Sandra was very helpful. The 4 stars (not 5) was marked down to 3 things. One being a lot of ants outside and inside the property which became a pain with food etc, more control of this needed. Secondly the area is very Maltese local and no restaurants close by, the local fishing town is 20-25 minutes walk but restaurants not great. We ended up driving to Valletta for meals out. Finally there is little or no parking near the Villa so hiring a car which is needed is tough to park anywhere close. Overall the Villa is great but the other factors impacted a relaxing holiday.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our break in the villa, the pool was ideal, our kids loved their time here. The villa has everything you need and is very well equipped. The villas location is great for getting around Malta, zejtun is a quiet village with supermarkets, a butcher and bakery near by. Sandra was very quick to respond to any of our query’s. Pictures can't express how amazing Sandra's place is. This was such a cool experience. We especially loved hanging in our own private pool. We loved the place so much we decided to spend 2 of our three days in Malta relaxing.
It's conveniently located. 10 minute walk to a supermarket, dining, and busses which take you to boats and tours. Or use the eTaxi app which works just like an Uber.

Getaway in Malta
Sandra the host was terrific! The pool area was very private and my favorite part. The house was clean and well maintained. The location was a little bit away from things and in a very traditional area. We had a car and parking was a challenge but we had fun!

A group of 6 women rented this property for a week. Stunning rental. Short walk to the market. Excellent communication whenever we needed anything, Sandra would respond immediately. Very safe and friendly neighborhood. I would recommend this rental !

Lovely house and pool.
The house was lovely and had everything you could possibly need. The pool and outside area was the best part. We really enjoyed our stay.
The only thing slightly odd was the top floor, (which is kitchen/living room with pull out sofa bed and separate bathroom), you have to go through the first floor master bedroom's ensuite bathroom to access the outside steps that lead up to this additional accommodation. Was fine for us though as we didn't need the additional space

Wonderful house in quiet area of Malta. Sandra could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Great local shops in Zetjun and close to beautiful fishing village of Marsaxalokk. Plenty of restaurants and great Sunday Market. St Peter Pool nearby breathtaking. Would highly recommend a stay at this amazing traditional house - fabulous pool area. We will definitely be back

Lovely host and amazing house
The property was fantastic - well equipped and lots of space. Sandra, our host, was brilliant at communicating with us and gave us good advice such as downloading the 'bolt' app where we can organise taxis at reasonable cost, to take us to the attractions nearby. Family holiday
We were welcomed by a driver at the airport who took us to the beautiful villa where we met Sandra who was very friendly and kindly had bread, milk, fresh fruit and wine waiting for us. After showing us around she left to let us enjoy our holiday but was easily available should we need any assistance, for example after an impressive thunder storm which caused a power cut, Sandra’s husband came to switch it back on withon 15 minutes.
The house is beautiful, lovely and clean, had everything which we needed, and has a lovely feeling to it, friendly locals, butcher, baker and supermarket nearby. There is an open market on a Wednesday which was lovely with fresh fish, veg, cakes, clothes, and snails!! Our girls who are 7 and 4 loved the pool! We all felt really at home there, my parents, my husband, out 2 children and myself.
The bus stop is nearby and we used the ecab app to book taxis which were reliable.
Can not thank Sandra enough for our stay. Thank you...we may be back one day!

An interesting little village
We were six friends staying at this lovely house, very comfortable,and as it was a heatwave,the air-con in the bedrooms were a god-send, without it we couldn’t have coped. Our hostess Sandra was delightful and very helpful.The locals were lovely and friendly too. A car is a must if you want to see as much as possible. The local supermarket was a very nice experience, more than helpful! All in all , a most enjoyable holiday

An absolute treat in rural Malta
Id-Dwejra Character house was an absolute treat. Being born in Malta I travelled back with friends to show off the Island and this location, the premises were perfect. The house is equipped with the best of appliances and furniture. The location is perfect, minutes away from the seaside towns and great restaurants. The bonus is the bus station which is the fastest way and economical way to get around Malta .... no parking hassles! + 'E' Cab for after hours. Sandra and her husband are great hosts! Book it and enjoy it..we did!

Blooming marvellous!!
The property was very clean and well equipped we all said we felt at home from the start. The photos don't do it justice. We were a party of 5 adults for the start of the week and added 2 more with ease. The local neighbours are very friendly and helpful and the house is situated in the traditional part of Malta near to local shops and bakery. We hired a car and found a parking space every time without problems. I can't recommend this house highly enough we will definitely be returning.

Great location to get on a bus line and go anywhere in Malta. The city of Zejtun has very little to offer... no restaurants or coffee shops. We were able to find many within a half hour walk.
The house worked out great for the 7 of us who stayed there. Would have been nice to have more toilet paper. Needed appropriate plug-ins for the electronics in the house, ie, bedside lamps and bedroom TV.
I would recommend staying at this home.

From the moment we arrived. Sandra welcomed us with a food and drink assortment. The friendly owner was a real help with things to do and where the local shops were located. The house was great with plenty of space and very clean. It’s a great location near the airport but not too near. The car park was busy but I always found a space. I definitely recommend this property.

We stayed for 7 nights and really enjoyed the house. It had a very old neighborhood feel. Sandra had some snacks and a bottle of wine wasting for us when we got there. She greeted us at the property and was available throughout the week when we needed anything. The house is in a neighborhood and removed from the tourist attractions. We spent a great deal of time at the pool. We had 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 1 year to 9 years old. Everything was fantastic and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful House and Landlord
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Id-Dwejra. The house was exactly as described. Everything in the house was of exceptional quality. The house and pool were very clean, and we were greeted with a wonderful welcome basket of bread, fruit, crackers, and wine. Our host, Sandra, was very helpful with advice on what to see and do, and there was a great deal of information in the house about Malta. The beds were great and the very hot water in the shower was glorious. The smart TVs even allowed us to play MP3s from a USB drive. We did not have any problems parking, and the rooftop clotheslines were an extra bonus (great view too). We were very happy we chose to stay here and highly recommend it.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. While the picture of this house look amazing they don't show it's real promise. Too this house in reality it's much more beautiful. In renovating this house they lost none of its old and world character but enhanced it by adding new world charm to it. While best to describe bathrooms and bedrooms is luxurious it still has all it's Maltese charm. Everything than you may need Francesca already has it there for you. Location While house looks to be away from normal tourist locations in reality it's a very short distance to anywhere you would need to go. Valletta - 13 minutes Sliema - 16 minutes Paceville- 19 minutes Rabat/ Mdina - 20 minutes Airport - 8 to 9 minutes Shop - 2 minutes walk or 2nd shop 3 minutes walk butcher - 2 minutes walk green grocers - 2 minutes Bakery- 2 minutes Literally everything on your doorstep

Amazing Home
I cannot put into words how incredible the house is and how wonderful the hosts are from the home cooked Maltese rabbit dinner to the luxurious decorating of the house. This is better then any 5 star resort if coming to Malta you must stay here. In one word: outstanding!

Simply wonderful
A very welcoming house of character with a wonderful pool.you can find all the necessities in it and owners very kind and helpful.very well mentained and most of all very clean.would recommend it and would certainly go again.

Everything you need there, extremely clean & homely.
We received a warm & welcoming greeting from Sandra the owner.
She gave us a guided tour & said if we need anything just call her. We were left a lovely welcome hamper too.
We went to have a complete chilli & relax on our weeks holiday. This is what we achieved 😊
We stayed in the local area and shopped there. The local produce available was wonderful.
We found the local Maltese people so warm & friendly.

Beautiful Villa in a great location
My self and my family stayed at this wonderful villa in mid October.
Sandra & Francesca made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived and met us at the villa, we were greeted with a friendly family vibe and we even got fresh bread and fruit,
The villa it's self is very well kept and spotlessly clean, the rooms were spacious and all have A/C, for the kids the wifi is great as well..
The pool area was the highlight for us and we were in the pool everyday for at least 3 hours, it is beautiful in the evenings sitting beside the pool and enjoying a BBQ.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect villa in a relaxed area of Malta.
