The cabin met our expectations. Customer service was prompt and accurate. The cabin was spotlessly clean. Will consider this cabin again next year for our group.

No heat in the downstairs and nobody responded locally to help with the situation.

Very clean home. Card table in the back room is great for cards with friends. Plenty of beds/seating. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. We are planning to book again next year.

The house was very clean and had a good footprint for a large group. The heating system was challenging to moderate. A better explanation on operating the heating system would be a good addition. The bedroom downstairs had an adjustable mattress for firmness and one side would deflate throughout the night. The game room on the back of the house would have been a nice addition in the summer time, but for us it was unusable due to no propane to run the gas log fireplace and no other heat source available for this room. We stay and many vacation rentals each year and although this one doesn’t top our list we would still stay here again for cleanliness, size and layout.

This house was perfect for our vacation. It's in a quiet, less populated area and not much traffic travels on the road in front of the house.
The house was super clean and well stocked with whatever we needed.
The only thing I suggest is changing the mattress on the downstairs bedroom. The air pump worked but the left side of the mattress deflated every night and it was like sleeping on plywood.

Great place to stay for family ski trip. Close to the mountain, several rooms with lots of sleeping options, and the house is accurately portrayed online.

Nice roomy place, comfy, well equipped including the kitchen. Unsatisfactory experience with property manager Vacasa. Being responsible for cooking for 6, I needed details about kitchen stuff, but email went unanswered and phone call was answered by a useless but polite call center in India. I’m sure Vacasa is convenient for absentee ownership but as experienced short term renters, we will never rent a Vacasa managed place again.

I loved the layout of the house and the bed size options …. Was great in that respect for a big group along with the covered porch entry. Thanks for shoveling the snow and ice from the porch, steps and drive also.

For 3 consecutive years we’ve celebrated an early Christmas ski trip with our sons and their friends. This was the perfect place for them to spread out and have their space! Do wish it had a propane grill for steak night!!! Not a deal breaker by any means =)
Hope to stay again next year.

This cabin was very cozy and a great place to unwind by the fireplace after a long day of skiing. The kitchen was very well stocked with any kitchen gadget you can think of and lots of really classic cookbooks! I enjoyed browsing through the recipes and even found some of my favorites that were my mother's recipes!
The only thing I would mention is the heating, as it needs a bit of time to get the room warm. Otherwise it was so lovely to stay here!!

Really enjoyed our time that we spent down there. The house was really clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It had lots of different games. Loved the guest book it had menus of restaurants nearby. Love the Mountain View’s we had through out the hole house. We will definitely stay again on our next visit.

House was nice and generally well equipped with good location. Was lacking in dish soap,dishwasher soap,laundry soap, dish towels, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. We had a 7 day stay with 10 adults and had to purchase all of the above as none were well stocked. Also called to have trash pickup early which never happened. Real game breaker was when one of the upstairs beds was discovered to have pee stained sheets making us wonder if any beds had been washed ahead of us arriving. We made sure to strip all beds before we left to make sure they all got washed for the next renters.

Great accommodations and location!
Cozy place with lots of sleeping options and various gathering rooms. Close to the ski hill but convenient for a quick walk to the corner store.

Wolf Creek Snowboarding trip
Great house and location..quick drive to Wolf Creek. Fully provisioned kitchen..everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. Plenty of room for everybody. Great den on the back side of the home. Only complaint is house takes a minute to warm up..especially in the morning. Would definitely stay again.

Great Stay While Skiing Wolf Creek Pass
House was very clean and as described in the listing. It was 6º the first night we stayed here and we had a difficult time getting the heaters to make the house warm. I called customer service the next morning and a local maintenance man came by while we were skiing and got everything working properly. When we arrived in the early evening, the house was nice and warm. So a small hiccup but it was handled very quickly and efficiently and we were very satisfied with the communication from VRBO and the local maintenance guy. We also ended up putting some towels at the bottom of the back entry door and that stopped the cold air from coming in. We enjoyed our stay here and it was very convenient to South Fork. Overall a great, clean comfortable property and we would stay here again. Thanks

South Fork Cabin
The house was stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There was lots of room to spread out with the two living spaces and plenty of space to cook and enjoy meals together.

Christmas Get Away
This property provided a perfect Christmas get away for our entire family.
This was a great location for access to Wolf Creek Pass and other winter activities. There was plenty of comfortable accommodations and a kitchen large enough to cook for everyone.

Beautiful home
The house was so spacious there was room for everyone to spread out and so well equipped we wanted for nothing. The decor was amazing. The ceiling fans had lights above the blades with rustic metal overlays and blades of leather laced over the frames. I could not stop looking at the dozens of themed decorative items from stained glass to the charming family room fireplace. I was ready to move in and call it home. We are definitely going to stay longer the next time with more time to enjoy the three distinct living areas, the plethora of reading material, the huge firmness adjustable bed, and the lovely decor.

Lovely little home near amazing hiking destinations.
This home was really wonderful, it has a very cute aesthetic that felt like a stay at grandma's,it's really quite charming.
The town is quaint and has the essentials, and there's some great nearby hikes at the Rio Grande National Park and Great Sand Dunes National Park a bit further away.
We did have an issue at the start of a stuck front door that we thought was locked from the inside.

Beautiful property in South Fork
Away from the hustle and bustle of Lake city, Durango, Silverton, etc, but all are within a reasonable drive. Great place to relax after a long day of motorcycle riding

Excellent Stay
We had a wonderful time in South Fork! The house was perfect for our large group. It is close to the grocery store. We cooked every morning and every night, the kitchen had everything we needed.

Great location with lots of space!
This was a great place for our two family vacation to Wolf Creek. There were plenty of beds and 3 living areas for everyone to hang. We needed a few things upon arrival like washcloths and more light bulbs, but management was responsive and prompt! Ashley and her team were quick to bring us everything we asked for. We had a great time.

Great property for our 2 family vacation!
Great location- 20-25 minutes to get to Wolf Creek ski area. House was clean and nice to finally find a property that had plenty of beds for our 2 families along with multiple common areas to hang out. We needed a few minor things when we got there- Some light bulbs out and more washcloths, etc., but property management was responsive and prompt! Ashley and her team were awesome to work with. We had a great time.

A comfortable house in a great location
Centrally located in South Fork...can be at the restaurants, store, gas station, or on 160 or 149 in just a minute or so. Plenty of parking, plenty of beds and very quiet neighborhood. Loved it.

Nice stay
The property has a large circle driveway which is so nice for our ATV trailer. We grilled out without any problems charcoal was provided. The cabin has 3 sitting areas so plenty of room. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. We loved it frozen glasses to make drinks. The cabin was clean and well kept and yes dust free!! The only downer was no televisions in the bedrooms! We like to sit in our room in privacy and watch the news or a show and chill out. We like to visit southfork often and would rent this cabin again for sure if it had tv in the bedrooms. The decor was actually better than other cabins we have stayed in because it was all dust free and homey. The location is a few blocks from the grocery store so a real plus!

Nice trip
We loved the cabin it was cozy! The only thing that was a downer for us was no televisions in the bedrooms. We are an older couple and like to relax in the privacy of our bedroom and watch television and wasnt able to do that. We were able to cook in the kitchen and grill out without any problems. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We visit southfork often and would rent this cabin again if it had tv in the bedrooms🙂

South Fork cabin
The “bones” of the house are excellent but it needs (1) removal of 90% of the fake flowers (all they do is gather dust and get in the way); (2) brighter light bulbs and lighter carpets (the place is dark); (3) new carpet on the stairs and upstairs; (4) a new master bedroom bed and (5) a decorator’s eye toward “less is more”. It has the potential to be a great house.

This home is dated and very cluttered. The main living areas are very dark and not very well lit. The kitchen is well stocked but way too many items and not well organized. The house is well located to ski at Wolf Creek.
