Our family loved this house. We had more the enough room for 7 adults and 1 pre teen. The sunsets are amazing at this house. The house is furnished with everything you need. We are able to cook many meals in the spacious kitchen. The owners really thought of everything. The elevator was nice to have for our mom that uses a walker and couldn’t take the stairs. The island is beautiful and the people are super friendly.

Had a fantastic stay, the house is perfect for a larger group on a Team Building Fishing Trip. The house is outfitted extremely well with everything you need and the pool is a great way to cool off after a long day catching giant snook!

What a great property and host! This property was better than we could have imagined! We didn't want to leave! The property was very clean. The pool and dock were awesome! We spent most of our vacation in the pool and fishing from the dock! There are no words to describe the sunset view from this house! So many things to do and places to eat within walking distance! I would give this house 50 Stars if possible. We are already planning our next vacation to Matlacha!

Large beautiful home in Matlacha, beautiful pool, great elevator. Large kitchen with ice maker, great to entertain in. The house is very clean. The living room furniture is showing some wear and tear. We loved our stay. Check in was smooth as silk. Instructions were clear with check in. There are multiple porches where you can enjoy your coffee every morning.

We loved the property. Very spacious. Great location, beautiful views and sunsets. The property was in very good shape. Fully stocked kitchen, linens, towels, etc... Very nice pool and spa. WARNING: THE GARAGE FLOOR IS DANGEROUS IF YOU HAVE WET FEET OR SHOES. I FELL ONCE, ALMOST TWICE, MY ADULT SON FELL AND OUR YOUNGEST GRANDSON ALSO FELL. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ASAP BEFORE SOMEONE REALLY GETS HURT!!!!!

Home was clean and in a great location. Restaurants in walking distance. Neighbors nice. Furniture on main floor living area was uncomfortable/worn/lumpy. Layout of furniture not conducive to watching tv. Other than seating at kitchen counter island, no other inside dining table to play games/cards inside. Hot tub jets did not work after 2nd day and never repaired by owner during our week stay. Bedding (bedspreads) seemed old/outdated/dirty. Could be a 5 star if fix areas that need updated.

We had 9 of us from Michigan staying. Spacious living and bedroom areas, large decently equipped kitchen, screened decks on main level and upper master bedroom. We enjoyed the pool and spa daily with the great 80 degree weather we had. Had an issue with a toilet not flushing properly on the first day. Response from the owner was quick and it was fixed the next day. Being right on the water we saw dolphins on multiple days. Would consider renting again if we have a large group.

Loved the water views. Kitchen well appointed. Very roomy! Nice fishing dock. Enjoyed watching the pelicans fish and the dolphins. Spa and pool used daily by the kids. Easy walk to shops.

This was a beautiful home. The only thing that was challenging was not enough bath towels and wash cloths. We had 6 people and only 3 wash cloths.

Great home, with a spectacular view!!

My husband and I were delighted to share our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grands at Kokopelli over Thanksgiving week. Our host, Dallas was most helpful and accommodating. The home was fresh and spacious, and offered plenty of seating on each level to fit our needs perfectly. I was particularly impressed with the well-appointed kitchen offering a large variety of dishes, tools, appliances, supplies and amenities… along with plenty of supplies in the baths and laundry. The dock was perfect for mooring the deck boat we rented on Pine Island. We all enjoyed splashing around in the sparkling pool and spa, especially in the evening watching the sunset over the pristine gulf and nature preserves. Everyone agreed our time together at this lovely venue felt like our own private slice of paradise.

The view from this house was amazing! Very peaceful retreat on the water with a nice outdoor area and screened in porches.

This house has screened in balconies on the top two levels. There is an absolutely gorgeous view from balconies, especially at sunset. There were six adults and three children. We enjoyed our week and exploring the area.

House was perfect for our group, incredible views from the back porch and the open concept made spending time together easy. Everything you could possible need was available in the kitchen. Great property we will be booking again for next year

We had a great time in Matlacha. The house was beautiful and very spacious. We had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked so we cooked in several nights. We enjoyed the view from the balconies. We saw plenty of dolphins and manatees. We were not able to enjoy the pool because the water was too cold but we did enjoy the hot tub! We plan to return to Matlacha and hopefully stay at Kokopelli house again.

Great house. Great Location. Exceeded our expectations

The Kokopelli Home provided a wonderful base for a week of exploring Matlacha, Pine Island and the surrounding waters of the bays. The kitchen was as fully equipped with pots, pans, and other cooking equipment as our own home and much more complete than any other rental we’ve ever leased! Having two screened porches was also a plus; we were able to enjoy the morning and evening breezes while enjoying the views (the neighborhood out walking in the morning and the sunset over the water at night. Good restaurants within walking distance and great fishing only added to the likelihood that we’ll be back next year!

We rented a boat for the week and found that it was a little tricky navigating the waters around Matlache. It can get very shallow very quick in many areas. There is some very good fishing in the area. the best areas to fish required quite a long boat ride to get too, as did the beaches.We did have one incident with the property management group that was uncomfortable. While my friend and myself were out fishing our wives stayed back at the house. They were on the back porch and a man from the property management group showed up in the backyard. He said he knocked on the door and when no one answered he went through the garage into the backyard. It made my wife and my friends wife very uncomfortable. If there was no answer when he knocked we felt the management company should have called before just entering. Other than that short incident it was a great trip!

We had such an amazing stay here. The house was absolutely beautiful and the views were awesome! We saw so many dolphins, and my husband caught several sharks and catfish off the dock! It was such a pleasure staying in this home, it was so spacious, and the screened in porches were a lifesaver in the evenings. The only issue was trash/recycling. For a family of 10, the bins fill up quickly and the recycling service wouldn't pick up any that weren't in the bin, causing a lot of recycling and trash left after pickup. Nothing on the homeowners fault though. We just felt bad about the amount left behind when we checked out.

Matlacha is a wonderful area. Charming with shops and restaurants. Terrific home for a large family or combined family. Separate upstairs suite was perfect for our family of three. Middle floor perfect split model for teens and adults. Owner provides all the amenities plus. Dock fishing was fun and dolphins came swam by many times. One day a dolphin came and hung out at the dock for 15 minutes. Great home and awesome management company. Dave and Steve were helpful and highly responsive. We had a n emergency mechanical issue with the washer and they did our laundry for us so we weren't ever inconvenienced. We think this is the best house we have ever rented in Florida. Enjoy a great and relaxing vacation. We give it 5 stars for sure.

We have rented many properties in the past and this place is definitely as advertised. The house has everything you would need for an extended family vacation. We had a group of 6 adults and two children and the house served our needs excellently. The management team was also first rate to deal with during the whole process. I highly recommend this home and location for anybody who is interested.

What a great property in a great area! We couldn't have asked for anything more- everything was as advertised plus more than we expected. The views from the screen porch, the pool and hot tub, bedrooms and kitchen, etc. were all superb. Saw dolphins, stingray, flying mullet, eagles, osprey, cranes, loons and more. Plenty of kitchen supplies, spices, toaster, plates, pots, pans, silverware, We did not have to contact the property manager once so that pretty much sums it up. 10 of us (8 adults and 2 toddlers) had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the property. Great area to go on walks or runs. We would definitely go back again to Matlacha and this property. Thanks for sharing!

It was the perfect location for us! It was two blocks from our family and in the neighborhood that we spend the most time at downtown Matlacha. We had everything that we needed. We will definitely one hundred percent sure rent this place again!

We saw dolphin right the back porch several times. All sorts of birds, too. The property manager was very helpful and on the spot to address any concerns we had. Would highly recommend.

Great experience with beautiful location and property especially for large family, two families or large group of friends. Comfortably accommodates 10, overlooking water with pool and hot tub. Easy walk to main strip of Matlacha and easy drive to Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Naples, Venice, Bonita beach. Property manager, Dallas, always accessible and helpful!
