This is very spacious lovely villa, spread over 3 floors and accommodated 2 families with 4 teens very comfortably.
There is everything you need and the service manager, Marinella and the owner are very responsive. Its a quiet area along the beach road and incredibly quiet and peaceful.
Access to the property is up a hill. A steep hill. Its really not far, maybe half a mile, but just be aware that you'll need transport if you don't fancy walking in the heat or have mobility concerns. Local taxis from Skala centre to the villa are 10 euros if you don't fancy the walk.
Pool area is great, Games room is on same level so makes a very sociable area for Teens. Outdoor kitchen and pizza oven work well and were a great social event.
Would happily book Property again when we return to Skala.
Great Property for a large family or friends who want a little bit of secluded luxury.

In general, we have a great time at the villa as we were a family reunited after 3 years due to covid.
Lots of space at the house and around the pool and we enjoyed the games room. Good location but a car is definitely needed. AC is good. Comms with the owner were good. BBQ and pizza oven were good too.
We found the beds incredibly uncomfortable, so much so that some of us opted to sleep on the sofa instead. The mattresses really need to be changed. They were so hard we were bruised and sore each morning.
Also, the pool needs some maintenance, there are many missing tiles and the small kids cut their toes.

This villa was perfect for our family get away. The five spacious double rooms had plenty of space and the air conditioning worked perfectly throughout. The living area was spacious and clean and the outside was spectacular with excellent views of the sea with a big infinite pool, pizza oven and BBQ area. The location is quiet and private but it is possible to walk into Skala but a rental car is recommended as it’s a very steep road.
The owners were very helpful and answered all questions promptly and were more than happy to help when needed. I would definitely recommend staying here

Had such a lovely stay at villa medea. Despite the covid restrictions in place, our holiday was so lovely. Very clean, spacious villa with amazing pool and views. Lovely area with plenty of restaurants. Just be aware that it is situated up a very long steep hill which is very hard to walk up in the heat, but taxis are plentiful. WiFi not great, but maybe that’s the area. Overall it was a stunning place, great communication throughout with the owner and would thoroughly recommend.

The villa is a great place to be! Apart from some things that were broken (insect screens, table soccer, some doors not closing) and others being not as clean as expected when we arrived (one of the showers, sandwich toaster) it is a perfectly equipped and regularly cleaned house. The view from the tarrace and balconies is beautiful and so is the island itself. The sunrise in the morning in perfect silence is pure recreation (as long as everybody else is sleeping because it is not really soundproof inside).
So some smaller constraints but nothing that could hinder us from having a great time!

Our first visit to the island but it won’t be our last. We loved visiting the local beaches - especially Mouda, and the local winery was a brilliant visit. We loved the turtles and the castle. Would have liked to visit Fiskardo but will have to be next time!

Coming back to this wonderful villa didn't disappoint. It was how we remembered it, and better, and the pool, oh that fantastic pool. Nine of us in total, looked after by Trish and Phil (the Dynamic Duo) who were attentive, full of useful information, and quick to respond to what we thought was a leaking aircon unit, turned out it was condensation. Plus a beautiful welcome back cake from Sue and Paul. What more can we say, everyone loved it, the pool and the pool table were the most used, we eat out every night then pool side drinks after. Can't wait to come back, but will have to, as almost fully booked for next year... disappointing but so understandable. Thank you all for such a relaxing and enjoyable time. The Ormrod Clan.

A truly stunning, well equipped villa. This villa was so lovely that we were quite happy to spend our days just relaxing by the beautiful pool which came with lilo and woggles. The kitchen had everything you needed plus more and a BBQ and pizza oven outside. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the town and we had lovely meals at all of them. The water sports offered on the beach are a must, lots to choose from and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that I wished we had booked two weeks instead of one, we didn't want to leave. Thank you Sue and Paul for letting us enjoy your beautiful villa.

I booked Villa Medea so that i could celebrate my 60th birthday with family and friends. This was one of the best decisions i have ever made. The villa is superb, it exceeded my expectations and the expectations of my group in so many different ways. From the stunning views over the Ionian sea to the very spacious living areas, this villa has it all. We did try to think of anything that was not provided - we failed. On arrival we were met by Phil who explained the workings of the villa to us. Then to my surprise i was told that there was a birthday cake in the fridge for me, a brilliant touch which was very much appreciated. Our group was made up of 12 people yet we never felt cramped, as the villa is so spacious. Our first night was spent in the Games room, playing Pool, Table Tennis and Table Football, to the strains of Greek music on the CD player, a fantastic way to start our week of total relaxation. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Villa to anyone and would urge potential guests to jump at the chance, you will not regret it. A massive thank You to Phil and Theresa and also to the owners, you made my birthday so special.

Well what can we say about Villa Medea,...We planned a wedding in Skala and we spoke to the owners via e-mail and asked if they would object to us holding our wedding reception there, we had a party of 10 staying at the villa for the week and the wedding was mid week, The owners got back to us and said they would love us to use the villa for the reception. There is just too much positives about the villa to write down, it's stunning, lovely rooms, comfortable, homely, had a real personal touch, well equipped, pool and pool area is just amazing laying there on the air bed looking over towards the sea gently being moved around by a delicate warm breeze... best way to describe staying in the villa is you really do feel like royalty, a very special place to stay, laundry and house keeping was perfect. The wedding reception was just perfect at the villa and we thank the owners so much for letting us hold it there. We cannot praise the villa enough 12/10 You must stay there and do not bother looking anywhere else. Giles and Karen Fairweather from Ipswich Suffolk

Wow what a beautiful villa I can honestly say it took our breath away when we saw it. It was our first family holiday with the grandchildren and they did not want too leave. They loved the pool and the games room kept them amused for hours. We made good use of the BBQ an pizza oven whilst having a drink and enjoying the view. I recommend hiring a boat from the beach an take a trip up the coast, we found lovely beaches and beautiful blue water for snorkelling. We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant that Trish works in. We will be looking to return next year I have never before stayed in a place so well equipped with every thing you need for a fantastic holiday thank you x

A lovely spacious property set up on a hill that looks down towards Skala, with excellent facilities and views. Perfect for families or groups of friends to have a bit of privacy and with the liveliness of Skala easily accessibleThe end of Skala beach is 500m walk down a steep hill and then the main road in Skala is a further 1.5km along the beach road so a car would be advisable. There are restaurants and a supermarket along the beach before you get to Skala.

We spent one week in Kefalonia, at villa Medeea, I have no words to describe this beautifull view, villa, terrace, yard...everything was great! The owners are very nice people, very carefull and honest.

The villa is perfect for a family gathering. There were 11 of us, 3 generations ranging from over 60 down to five. Everyone had a wonderful week. It was lovely just lazing by the good sized well maintained infinity pool and gazing out at the amazing view. The villa is very peaceful and private with a large garden and colourful shrubs in bloom when we were there. The villa itself was very spacious and comfortable, large kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and a large living room with lots of sofas. We spent most of the time at pool level where there is a well equipped games room where you can play your own music (which can be heard from the pool area if the door is open), a large outdoor dining table and chairs, a BBQ and even a pizza oven. You need a car to get to the local beach, local restaurants and local supermarket/shops, you can walk but hard going up the hill coming back. 5 minute drive to the centre of Scala. We had clean linen half way through the week and the villa was well maintained by a local English couple who made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. You could spend all week at the villa but we did go to some beautiful beaches, some did a kayak day trip and some even climbed Mount Aenos! The beaches we went to were pebbly, no sand but the water was crystal clear and warm. In terms of very young children the villa floors are tiled and there are two flights of stairs which are marble. Our 5 year old grandson was fine but it would not be easy with very small children or toddlers. Having said that, no holiday is easy with very small children or toddlers! The local supermarkets sell nearly everything but it may help to pack a few essentials for the first day or two e.g. tea, coffee, dishwasher tabs. We ate out at local restaurants and had BBQs, you could even buy ready made kebabs to cook at the 'meat market' in Scala. Everyone had a brilliant week, we would love to go back again. As a final comment we found the booking process and dealing with the owners directly clear and easy, lovely helpful thoughtful people.
