El Ático de Vigo se encuentra en un sexto piso de un precioso edificio del año 1950 con fachada de piedra del centro de Vigo.
Destaca una terraza privada de 60 m² con tumbonas y mesa para comer al aire libre, y, en el interior de 90 m² tiene todas las comodidades: aire acondicionado, calefacción central, Wi-Fi y Tv Satélite, cocina perfectamente equipada que incluye lavavajillas. Todo ello en un conjunto agradable con vistas a la Ría de Vigo incluso desde algunas zonas del interior.
Las Rías Baixas ofrecen un entorno privilegiado para la práctica de deportes náuticos, especialmente la vela. El Real Club Náutico de Vigo se encuentra a tan sólo 10 min a pie, donde también podrán coger el barco que va a Cangas o a las Islas Cíes, nombradas por el periódico británico The Guardian como una de las 10 mejores playas del mundo. De camino al puerto, pueden parar en el famoso Mercado de la Piedra y tomar su especialidad, las ostras.
Para disfrutar plenamente de la ciudad y sus alrededores no hace falta tener coche, ya que hay una buena conexión de autobuses, barcos y trenes. La mayoría de las líneas de autobús paran en la Puerta del Sol al lado de la oficina de turismo, a 5 min caminando, incluida la que va directamente al aeropuerto (unos 2 euros el tiquete frente a los 20 euros de taxi). En tren, se puede llegar cómodamente a los centros de Pontevedra, Santiago, La Coruña y Orense para pasar el día.
Si disponen de coche, no se pierdan la vecina Portugal y el río Miño.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. it is in a great central location in Vigo, with fabulous views. Very well equipped kitchen and bathroom and spotlessly clean. Would love to return.

It is a flat in the 6. th floor. Everything was well arranged. From description where we could leave the car, how we get the key amd lesve it at the end of our stay. The offer to help us, if needed. The fotos showed exactly what we found. Er had a very pleasant stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It was extremely clean and well equipped. The views from the terrace were excellent and it was a great place to sit in the evening with a glass of wine. The location of the apartment was perfect for exploring Vigo and the surrounding area.

The property was in a good location, the port only a 10 min walk away. It is on the edge of the shopping area, Progreso market with a supermarket just next door. There were plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. Although it is in the city centre, it was a quiet apartment. The ferry trip across the bay to Cangas, with its Monday & Friday market, is well worth taking.

Vigo Apartment
The apartment was in an excellent location with amazing views from the terrace. We went in April when the weather was cold and rainy but the apartment was lovely and warm, The apartment is in a very quiet and safe location. Perhaps a small welcome pack could be included in future but overall a very good and comfortable place to stay.

We stayed at this property for 4 days after walking the Camino to relax & process our walk. This property is just as described. The WIFI worked well. The bed & pillows were very nice. It was so nice to be able to cook here. We baked a stew in the oven & hamburgers on the stove-top. The owner was very responsive to any concerns we had. The location was a 10 minutes walk to the water & more restaurants than you could imagine in old town Vigo. There was an Urban Market, speciality markets & bakery almost right next door. The property was a 20 minute walk to the train station. There were many brochures available for all of the tourist sights available around Vigo.

Great Apartment
The apartment is very comfortable and extremely well located. It is close to everything, from a super-market next door to pharmacies, shops and restaurants at a small walking distance. Wifi works beautifully. Owner and Eliane, a lady that helps the owner, are always available for information and anything you may need. The place was clean and everything was in good standing. We recommend this place for a couple or up to 4 people.

Loved our stay, great location, near old Quarter and supermarket. Terrace has lovely views over Vigo. Beds comfy and all essentials provided in the apartment. Really nice place!

We were 2 couples - travelling for gastronomy and wines. perfect place to stay for exploring Galizia. The food market nearby with everything you need if you like to cook, all the utilities for that in the kitchen, comfortable and nice view from terrace, many restaurants around...All you can wish for holidays.

Sueño en la azotea
Mi hermana y yo tuvimos un tiempo maravilloso en Beatriz's plana . El piso era excepcionalmente limpio y hermoso , con todo lo que podríamos haber posiblemente sea necesario. La única cosa que habría estado bien sería más utensilios de cocina , se encontró que no pudimos hacer tanto para cocinar como nos hubiera gustado , porque algunas cosas que faltaban. Aparte de eso , tuvimos un tiempo increíble , el piso está situado en el centro, y Beatriz era extremadamente amable . Se registró varias veces conmigo para ver si necesitábamos algo, y me gustó mucho eso.

Superb apartment, lots to do!
I have just returned from a week in this superb apartment. It’s just as in the photos & description - very comfortable, practical, light & airy, spotlessly clean, quiet, and the terrace with its views are a constant delight, day or night. In the streets immediately outside the building are lots of good food shops of all sorts, so it was easy to stock up the kitchen on arrival and to top up later on too.
In and around Vigo I found lots of interesting things to do and places to go, so to offer you a flavour of the place, here is how I spent my time. Naturally I began by exploring the marina and port, then the following day I walked up high to the top of the nearby Parque do Castro. It has lots of mature trees & plants, and monuments etc, and impressive panoramic views from the top. I was pleased to realise that such a beautifully green park with lovely fresh air was only a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
After seeing some enticing information in a booklet in the apartment on another day, I followed its long, varied & satisfying walk (about 8 miles), from the apartment (up & through the city, away from the port) to the Parque de Castrelos, and from there followed the now level footpaths that track the Rio Lazares all the way to where it flows into the sea!, at Playa Samil. There were various places to eat, drink, and enjoy on the way too. Then, after relaxing at the (lovely) beach for a while, it was easy to take the no. 10 bus back to Vigo marina.
The 45 minute ferry to the Illes Cíes was another special destination (nature reserve), with as much walking, spectacular views, beautiful beaches, woods and cliff tops as I wanted, all on well signposted routes.
I began another day by returning to the foot of the nearby Parque do Castro to visit the Castro de Vigo open-air museum to see the ancient remains and modern reconstructions, excellently done and giving food for thought. Then I went to the nearby vegetarian restaurant Gálgala, for food for stomach(!), which had delicious healthy food, freshly made with imaginative recipes (one of which I’m going to try at home), a very nice welcoming ambience.
Other things I enjoyed were living in the centre of the lively city, visiting the very large El Corte Inglés department store, and many other streets of shops and cafes etc. I also used two more days, basking on the ferry journeys, to explore the small seaside towns of Cangas and Moaña, just across the water. I discovered I like ferries!

Lovely modern apartment in a great location
The apartment is lovely, bright, clean, well designed with 2 good sized bedrooms and a large bathroom with both bath and shower. The shower is very good. The views are great from the terrace which was a great place for breakfast and drinks in the evening as well as sunbathing during the day. The location is great - shops for groceries, fruit and veg and fresh bread are all just a few minutes walk away. Restaurants abound within a 15 minute walk but I would really recommend the vegetarian restaurant Galgala, just around the corner at the top of the street, and Cera Zona. For a great lunch try Terrae - a wholefood shop that also does great food. And Castro Park is nearby for a stimulating uphill walk and fantastic views over the city.

One of the best Homeaway properties I've ever stayed at. My partner and I enjoyed Beatriz's apartment for a week in June. Her ultra modern kitchen and bathroom will appeal to Americans, and the city center location means that groceries, cafes, and bakeries are all moments away. Her apartment is easily big enough for a family or two couples, and the terrace is lovelier than the photographs. Bitadorma Vigo, on Ecuador 56, is a terrific seafood restaurant nearby. If you have a car to explore Galicia or Portugal, her building has private parking! Go!

Enjoying the life in the heart of Vigo
I have enjoyed a peaceful time in this beautiful apartment which has both: the location in the very centre of the city (all the shops and city attractions at a walking distance) as well as the peace and splendid views to the sea and river from its large terazza.
At first sight, the street and building might not be what you expect, but the apartment itself is extremely nicely arranged and decorated, with new and high-quality things.
I was alone but it is large enough to accommodate a family and you have everything you need to feel like home instead of a tourist. Myself, I found refreshing to be able to take the calls on the terazza enjoying the view, to cook in some evenings and to browse the internet from the apartment while I did laundry and waited for the dishwasher to finish its tour...
The owner was very helpful in any matter and I am sure I will return!

"Wonderful unit, high above the city and bay. Modern and comfortable, with all the amenities, including a good kitchen. We spent more time than we expected at home! Super-convenient to shopping, restaurants, points of interest, etc. We walked everywhere. If you have a car, (which we did for touristing beyond the city) get the parking spot from the very helpful owner."
