My adult children and I stayed at the Acropolis Panorama View Penthouse w. Private Terraces in June 2024, and it was an amazing experience! The location was a dream, offering breathtaking views of the Acropolis and Parthenon. The property was incredibly comfortable and well-maintained, providing all the amenities we needed for a perfect stay. The owner was very easy to work with, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I will rent here again, and I highly recommend this penthouse for anyone visiting Athens!

Our stay in the penthouse in Athens was a great experience that our family will cherish for a long time. The highlight of the unit is undoubtedly the amazing rooftop terrace, which offers an excellent view of the Acropolis. Watching the historic landmark from the comfort of our terrace was truly breathtaking.
The layout of the unit was a bit confusing at first, but it served our purposes well during the visit. Initially, the location seemed a bit odd, as it is situated on a street with commercial businesses. However, after a day, we got familiar with the neighborhood, and we really appreciated its walkability. Being able to easily reach Monastiraki Square and explore all the nearby shops, restaurants, and bars was fantastic.
Wandering through the streets turned into an amazing adventure. We stumbled upon an area filled with lively Cuban restaurants and music, which added a vibrant touch to our trip. Sampling the local eateries and gelaterias was another highlight, giving us a true taste of Athens.
A particularly memorable part of our stay was chartering a catamaran through Sailing Athens. This experience was a welcome retreat from the June heat. The company provided seamless transportation to and from the cruise, and we enjoyed a chef-prepared meal onboard, making it a luxurious and relaxing day.
Overall, the penthouse's great location and unique charm make it highly recommended for anyone visiting Athens. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip!

This place is really fantastic for its exceptional view of the Acropolis from the large terrace as well as the location at Monisteraki Square. The apartment is spacious with a kitchen with large windows and an additional terrace. The interior is a bit quirky but worked well for our family of 5. Gerasimos was a great host. He replaced some terrace chairs within hours of our reporting some damage and assisted us with arranging a private chef to cook a meal at the apartment (which was fantastic). He also assisted us with transportation from the airport and to the port.

Gerasimos was an awesome host. The apartment was so conveniently located and comfortable. But, the star of the show was the large terrace overlooking the Parthenon. The only view better was at night, when the Parthenon was lit up.

This was a truly lovely apartment in the best possible location. Walking distance to everything important, including Acropolis, National Archeological Museum, and metro, restaurants. We felt very safe in the apartment and walking around the area.
There is a supermarket right next door, and several bakeries for morning pastries and coffee. The apartment is well-appointed, with a washing machine, lots of soap/shampoo, hairdryer, iron, etc. The kitchen has all of the appliances you would need. The apartment is on an upper floor, but there are two elevators that work well.
The owner, Gerosimos, is kind and helpful. He reached out both before and during our stay to offer his assistance with airport transfers, recommendations, etc. He met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment. He was easy to get ahold of throughout our stay.
The absolute best part of this apartment is the view from the rooftop deck. Even though we had a packed itinerary, we found ourselves wanting to stay in and just enjoy the beautiful weather and sunshine while taking in the stunning vista of the entire Acropolis. I cannot imagine a better view exists in all of Athens.
This apartment was the perfect place to finish our trip to Greece, and it elevated our time in Athens to stay in such a beautiful and convenient accommodation. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed with our family of 5 in March. It was warm enough to easily enjoy the priceless roof deck during the day and with several layers at night. Regardless, the view from inside is just as spectacular. There were enough sleeping spaces to comfortably accommodate us. The apartment was perfectly clean, and the host had graciously stocked the fridge with a few key items since we arrived so late the markets were closed. Would definitely recommend this place to any type of group!

We knew little about Athens going in, but we could not have booked a more perfect rental for three days in the city. It is right in the middle of everything and is so easy to see the sites without using any transportation. Great food options are everywhere along with great rooftop bars for evening cocktails. The view of the Parthenon on the Acropolis was amazing at night. The owner (Gerasimos) gave us a quick but thorough orientation upon arrival along with recommendations of where to go and how to get there. He made himself available but also was not intrusive. When we left a piece of jewelry behind, he kindly sent it to us in the U.S. I highly recommend for families and groups of friends traveling to Athens!

Gerasimos was an absolutely wonderful host and we had a great time staying in his Athens VRBO. The view from the apartment was spectacular - looking directly at the Parthenon from the large veranda/seating area. Everything was as pictured/describe. Pre-trip communication was excellent, information/access to the flat was perfect, everything clean, functioning, and comfortable. He went above and beyond to ensure airport pickup, arranged drivers, and answer the many questions we had during our Athens stay (excursions, places to visit, etc.). Gerasimos was hands down the best rental host we have ever experienced in our vacations throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia. Highly recommended.

The photos really don't do this apartment justice in terms of the view. It's really very stunning. Sitting out on the patio in the evenings with that view of the Acropolis was a highlight of the trip for all of us. The location is also extremely central to all of the tourist attractions. Usually we take the metro a lot when we visit a new city, but we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit in Athens right from the apartment. Overall, the listing is extremely accurate.

This place was an amazing find. The roof terrace overlooking the Acropolis was more than we expected, with an inside lounge, dining area and bedroom with the same view for when it's too hot outside.
The location is in the heart of the ancient attractions which are all a walk away, as are restaurants and shops, with a grocery store 30 yards away.
Gerasimo was also a great host. He was there to welcome us (and enjoy seeing our reaction when we first saw the view) and helpful in working out things to do, and even reserved taxis for us.
Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view of the Parthenon was stunning and the location is outstanding. For our family, the layout worked well, but others should note that one of the bedrooms was quite small and located off the kitchen. Also note that while an elevator takes you 6/7's of the way to the Penthouse, there is one set of stairs. Worked for us, some renters might have a challenge.
Let me add that the owner is superb and the communication was excellent.

Immaculate condition with a superb view. Gerasimos greeted us and left helpful hints. He even offered to take us out on his boat in Aegina. Unfortunately, daughter and son-in-law get seasick, so we didn't take him up on his generous offer. Great location with major sites within walking distance.

This place is dreamy! The view, outside patio and master suite are enchanting. There was cold water in the refrigerator for us, a driver waiting for us at the airport, Gerasimos gave us excellent dinning recommendations, there was even a washing machine and the kitchen was loaded with every tool and appliance you could think of. There were shampoos & soaps and towels. It was a lovely experience and the location was perfection- so close to everything… wish we had a few more days to spend there! Thank you for your kindness Gerasimos- you are amazing! He even held our luggage for us upon arrival so we could explore the city while we waited to check in. We appreciate you thinking of all the little details like the slippers, blow dryer & the air conditioning and fans were perfect. The house had so many areas to enjoy.Thank you.

The penthouse was beautiful and the view was spectacular! It was right in the city center and had many great coffee shops and restaurants to choose from. Shopping was close by too. Highly recommend staying here!

Gerasimos was amazing. He met us at the property and showed us around. The location was perfect. We had rooftop veranda that had amazing sunset views and an up close view of the Acropolis. We also enjoyed the restaurants in the area. We would highly recommend this property.

In a word, this place is amazing. Less than a kilometer from the Acropolis, we spent many enjoyable hours sipping wine and taking in the unforgettable, unencumbered view from the patio. The suite is well equipped with wall mounted A/C units and a nicely appointed kitchen. The apartment has a decent sized grocery store next door and a few minutes’ walk from an impressive variety of restaurants. For staying in the center of Athens, it could not get better.
The host, Gerasimos, is amazing as well. He met us personally and showed us around the apartment and gave recommendations on what to see and where to eat. The kitchen was pre-stocked with a nice number of edibles and there were keys for everyone in our group. If you request (and we did), Gerasimos arrange for reliable, knowledgeable taxi drivers to pick you up and take you to your destinations. We had a driver greet us at the airport, another to take us to and from a fancy restaurant and another to take us to the airport, avoiding most of Athens congestion.

We really enjoyed our stay! It’s walking distance to all the best sites and restaurants. Plenty of room, beautiful views, very nice kitchen and the apartment was clean and updated. Beautiful outdoor living spaces were an extra bonus.

Our second stay at this property was just as perfect as our first and we cannot wait to get back a third time! Gerisamos is an amazing property manager and is extremely responsive to any needs, from ordering us cars to getting us to and from the airport, making reservations, and meeting our every need. This is, to me, the best place to stay in all of Athens. Oh, and the view cannot be matched! It’s central to absolutely everything.

Amazing view of the Acropolis from every window. Patio for morning and evening relaxation. Perfect central location for restaurants and sightseeing. And our host was fantastic…. Everything we asked about was taken care of immediately. Best ever. Find out for yourself!

I am not sure where else you can get this 360 degree view of the Acropolis, it is simply stunning! The bustling neighborhood is also very convienient and close to literally everything. We went to the Acropolis 2 days in a row, we'd get up early and walk our way up the hill and be the earliest visitors there. It takes only 20 minutes to walk up there so we'd beat all the other tourists and be one of the first visitors, if you've beem to Athens before, you will know how important it is to avoid the crowd! :).
The host is sooo reachable and made our stay super easy too. He helped with taxi booking, recommend nice restaurants and even showed us around the apartment himself. We had a wonderful stay here and are definitely coming back in the future!
