My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting a local winery. The house was absolutely gorgeous and looked exactly like the photos. There was even the added bonus of some mini cupcakes being left for us. There are a couple of local pubs super close by as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely little cosy cottage, well situated to stay in and around Tenterden or venture further afield. Well equipped with everything we needed and thoughtful provisions of milk and cake on arrival. Helen was very responsive to my questions prior to arrival.

From first entering the property we felt completely at home. We were impressed with the very high standard of decor. It was very cosy and comfortable and very well equipped. Everything had been thought of --and more. We had a very relaxing break. Superb.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your cosy, warm cottage, it was so homely and we appreciated the tulips, cakes and milk. We even sat out with a cuppa in the garden for a little while! We would certainly return. Thank you.

Really pretty cottage in a lovely location; close enough to everything whilst remaining nice and quiet.
The cottage had everything I needed for a short stay with my dog. Lots of lovely walks nearby and plenty to see and do in the local area.

What better way to relax than with a book in a comfy armchair in front of a woodburner. Loved it. Great to be able to park in the driveway, off the road, right by the front door. Fab coffee and quality cooking ingredients from Silcocks farmshop & café barely a 10 minute walk up the road. No dishwasher but I knew that from the listing and the labour was no doubt good for my soul.

We were delighted with the lovely cottage in St. Michael’s Tenterden. It was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. During our stay, there were so many places of interest to explore within a short distance of the cottage.

What a welcome !
The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully warm and there was even logs to use for the log burner .
In the kitchen we had milk, daffodils,scones,jam and even clotted cream.
The cottage was quiet and perfectly located for Tenterden and Rye . Ashford outlets are less than half an hour away . O will definitely be back

We had a lovely stay here. It was clean and welcoming. We had a bit of trouble getting the heat started and Helen was there within 15 minutes to fix it.

The minute we walked into the cottage we knew we’d be having a wonderful stay. It was immaculate, cosy with EVERYTHING you’d need plus more. Fairy lights were on over the log burner, little Christmas touches throughout, beautiful fresh smelling bedding/towels and goodies left out as well as some milk and bread. We were there for New Years, flowers and some fizz, how thoughtful. Super warm, comfortable and quiet in a pretty part of Kent, Tenderton just one mile away with a gorgeous high street and brilliant pubs. Friendly people, we will be back. Thanks so much to Helen our host who was really kind and helpful for anything we needed. Great enclosed garden for our dog to enjoy.

Well equipped, off street parking very handy, had a slight problem working the boiler but this was rectified promptly by the owner. Lovely working log burner which made it cosy in the evenings. It was handy to have 3 local takeaways at the end of the street as there are no indoor eating restaurants in St Michael’s so had to drive into Tenterden. Overall it was a lovely cottage to stay for a few days.

My daughter and I wanted a quiet weekend away to re charge and that's just what we did. The cottage was fully equipped , clean and the scones on arrival were lovely.

Great location for exploring the local area, very well presented property with an enclosed garden. Would definitely recommend Silcotts local farm shop and café, and a visit to Tenterden is a must. We look forward to returning to this lovely property.

So cosy and relaxing. Pics don't do it justice! 2+dog stayed. Location is amazing; pub, chinese, chippy and pizza/kebab shop minutes walk away. Also, flat, 1.5 ml mostly paved ex-railway walk to tenterteden which had great shops/vibe/brewery/steam railway/museum/eateries. Cleanest holiday cottage I have ever stayed in (Kim&Aggie disciple)! And really well equipped. We do this twice a year and this cottage is one of our joys! Pssst don't tell anyone else...❤️

We enjoyed staying in the property very much. There was a warm welcome incl. all you need for a cream tea. The cottage was warm and cozy. Due to supe4r weather we could enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Kent end East Sussex. We will come back in the future.

My Mum and Dad recently stayed at Helen's property in Tenterden. I made all the arrangements for them as they are elderly. Right from the get go, the booking and communication process was seamless.. Helen was responsive and replied often within minutes. Knowing my parents had such great access to the host in the event they needed something was very comforting. The property was just as described and shown in the pics. It was clean, quaint and well appointed. The wifi was strong so allowed us to "whats app" with no issues from Canada. We would be happy to stay in Helen's property again. Many thanks Helen for being a great host, the scones and jam made for a lovely welcome.

Kent exploration
Lovely comfortable cottage, great location close to centre of village. Clean and well looked after, tasty welcome pack of scones and clotted cream, nice little garden. Handy for lots of local attractions. Would definitely consider re booking.

Well presented with convenient off road parking and traditional cottage garden, fully equipped kitchen, lots of information on local area and instructions for using household appliances.
Please note that stairs are quite narrow in depth of tread so won't suit somebody with mobility issues.

We have stayed in many 5* cottages throughout England but this was definitely the cleanest and most well presented of all. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is in a great location 5 minutes drive from Tenterden. The owner was extremely helpful when we left an item behind which we very much appreciated.

Lovely cottage in a good location
The cottage was well located with local shops and pubs within walking distance. Tenterden which is a lovely market town was about 2 miles away. The countryside of Kent with good walks and pleasant villages and pubs serving good food were all close by within reasonable driving distance.Overall a good choice for our holiday over New Year
