Pros:
-check in process was easy
-beach chairs and towels are included
-pool is heated
-beach is nice, wasn't crowded, water is pretty, waves were strong
Cons:
-room was cramped at 4 people
-bathroom seat was loose
-shower was not refreshing, and the water was very hot
-sleeper sofa was uncomfortable, but the regular bed/king was fine
-the convenience store on site and neighboring restaurant on the pier were over priced, but its Miami
-beach chairs are collected by the staff promptly at 430pm

Neighbour’s dog barked morning and parts of the day and early evening. Complained to vrbo management found every excuse for the neighbour and how they had rights couldn’t intervene! Do not stay at this vrbo condo unacceptable solution !!

Great stay!
The stay was overall good! The room is a little older, some things were a little run down, door knob was about to fall off on bathroom, and tv in the main bedroom did not have netflix like it said it would (no big deal though bc there are 2 TV’s in the resort room). Don’t let that discourage you though. The stay was great. The people were wonderful, very friendly. It had everything we needed. It’s a smaller resort which makes it quieter (we loved that!) Back door that leads to the balcony was very heavy and i felt safe (you are pretty much on the main floor where someone could hop over into your balcony in they wanted) so having that heavy door was good! It is partial ocean view but mainly pool! It was very convenient and for the price, i will definitely stay here again!

Location was great as we were visiting family in the area. The front desk employees were very nice and professional. Bed was comfy and room service was prompt. Carpet could have been cleaner ( vacuumed) but overall the room was nice.

We had a great experience at this hotel . We have stated here before & were excited to come back. ALL hotel staff were friendly & accommodating. So much customer focus from the property manager Chris who helped with this booking. I was so impressed with him. The hotel is older but this does not matter since the location & view is to die for. We had a blast thank you to Chris the property manager & the Newport Beach Resort team!

This hotel was in a very nice location next to the beach and having the pool right there as well was very nice, this is why i chose this place.
a couple of things that i noticed the lobby was very modern and nice, once we got to to the hallways leading up to our room they were way out dated, the room was nice.
The other thing that was not so nice is there was no hot water for showers - I dont know what was up with that.
then the staff was not very friendly - and on one of the mornings they were pressure washing the pool deck at 4 am in the morning which was very loud and kept us up.

Some of my friends souvenirs got stolen. Paid for partial ocean view which should be on a higher level but got the lowest level and a pool view. Not satisfied and will not being staying here again!

3/1 to 3/31/19 good lobby, pool good( although pool needs some minor repairs), beach/Pier awesome.
Good rental. Corridors needs new rugs, elevator broke down twice but they had 3. Room dark wood. window and bedfaced the street not the beach.. felt safe. Lobby people good. Thanx

I was pleasantly surprised when I first walked in, looked just like the pictures, very nice, some what updated, then you got in the elevator, dirty fingerprints everywhere, unappealing. Then the hall way smelled disgusting, our room keys were a joke our whole trip I think we had to get a new one at least 10x our room was filthy couch and bedding had stains all over it. Found small hairs on the shower heads, the tiles in the shower are falling apart, , the porch was rusted and dirty, the bed stand was falling apart, and then the most disturbing part was I had walked downstairs to purchase some snacks (they need someone else to help at the starcbucks stand, waiting for a coffee or anything was at least 15-25 minute wait and it was not the one employees fault was very nice and going as fast as she could) only to see and hear the concierge make disgusting licking noises into the phone on my way back, he saw that I saw him and immediately hung the phone up, I felt so uncomfortable I could see him staring at me in the mirror as I was walking to the elevator. I have never felt so disturbed before. My husband and I have had some amazing Airbnb’s so we gave this a try for a very last minute trip and the pictures made it look somewhat appealing for the cost but if we didn’t pay upfront I would of found and stayed somewhere else immediately.

We loved our stay at Newport Beach Resort!
We really enjoyed our stay!! Check in was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was warm and enjoyable. We also enjoyed hanging out at the pool bar. The beach was beautiful!! We will be back!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this location. It was great to have the beach, pool, food & drinks, & a spa all at one location. The property was clean and the overall process was smooth and easy!!
