We so enjoyed our stay in Nantucket. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything you might need. The yard is beautiful and we had gorgeous weather so we were able to use the barbecue grill and the fire pit. Clair and Michael made everything easy, texting us with details for check in and recommendations for dinner. They were great hosts and were so responsive to any question we had. If you enjoy reading, there are books on a wide variety of topics. Our only suggestion would be maybe adding a comfortable chair or two in the master bedroom which is large and has a large screen TV. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Property is very clean, located in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach. Large nicely kept front yard with patio furniture is perfect for outdoor dining, bbq-ing or just relaxation. Property owners live in the same neighborhood and were very helpful and responsive. This property exceeded my expectations and I truly recommend it anybody who is looking for a clean, well equipped cottage in a beautiful setting.

We had such a lovely stay. Cláir and Michael were such gracious and helpful hosts. They have truly thought of everything and the cottage was well stocked with anything we needed — including a pack n’play, high chair and baby bathtub. The space is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated all of the thoughtful recommendations on ways to spend our time in Nantucket. Already planning our next trip!

From booking until departure, we had a perfect long weekend in Nantucket. Michael and Clair were so helpful with recommendations on what to do, where to eat, etc. the cottage was perfection - fully stocked with everything you could want or need and high end linens and towels. Beautiful attention to detail and design while being extremely comfortable and cozy. I highly recommend staying here.

Perfectly located to access the entire island. Grill, fire pit and beach chairs and towels provided. Beads and showers were great. Our friends stayed in town and spent most of their time with us.

I needed a convenient and charming space for some overflow family members for Thanksgiving. This charming little cottage was a perfect fit. Located in the surfside area, it was easy to find and accessible to town and nearby attractions. We drove in at night to see charming white lights on the beautifully kept property. Our hosts were gracious and warm and it was a wonderful stay. Lovely weekend here for all!

Perfect little centrally located cottage. Lovely, quiet setting. Newer features/fixtures inside. Very well appointed with everything you might need — washer/dryer, hair dryer, exercise items, games, etc. Great stemware and glassware for wine/drink aficionados. Despite being small cottage, main bedroom is spacious. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience from the minute we started. Owners are delightful and have truly made the home so enjoyable for a family’s vacation. The bedrooms and baths were so clean and spacious. The kitchen had absolutely everything we could need. Living room was bright and comfortable for visiting. Location is close to the beach and town but so quiet and peaceful. We would recommend staying here to anyone! An absolute gem.

Second stay. So great to return to this relaxing retreat after active days on the island. Refreshing outdoor and indoor showers, cozy and comfortable beds/bedding. Easy to reach and communicate with owners, welcomed on arrival to review all amenities. Thoughtful touches and comforts neatly tucked away everywhere you look. We bring car, so easy location to hit town and all round.

We had an amazing week at the cottage! We visited with our twin 20 month old daughters and Clair and Michael were so welcoming. Clair provided a baby gate, high chair and even some toys. We absolutely loved the cottage, the deer and bunnies that visited daily, and all the charm this property provided. We would love to visit again!

This was our second stay at this property. The cottage was perfect for me and my husband and our 8 month old. It is immaculately clean, the location is perfect with lots of privacy, and in close proximity to all of our favorite beaches and restaurants. Michael and Clair are wonderful hosts.

This is our second summer spending a week at Michael and Cláir’s cottage (we are a family of four w/ two kids, 9 & 10). It was even better than we remembered. There is something really special about the setting… you can hear the waves and see the stars at night, yet it feels as though you’re away from it all in the woods. We loved spending the day at nearby beaches (the best south shore beaches are less than 5-10 minutes biking/driving), then returning to cook out, enjoy an outdoor shower and relax by the fire pit. The cottage and property is immaculate - spotlessly clean, high quality linens, very well appointed, thoughtfully designed. As for the owners, Michael and Cláir are wonderful hosts. Their recommendations are spot on and they have truly anticipated anything you may need. We are grateful they continue to offer their special Nantucket cottage and we look forward to returning again soon.

Just coming off a week-long stay in this wonderful cottage and can't wait to return. Every aspect of the space was impeccably-designed, well-considered, and immaculate, from the beautiful yard to the comfy linens. Plus its central location means easy access to town, beaches, shopping, etc. Not only is the house fantastic, Michael and Clair were amazing hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. 5 stars!

The room was clean and neat. There was little or no soap or shampoo provided. One small bar of hotel size soap. There was no parking provided. This was very inconvenient. We needed to park several blocks away and risk a parking ticket. This should be made very clear on listing. We were fortunate that we had no rain while in room for two nights.

Michael and Clair were so friendly, accommodating and responsive. Michael even picked me up on the side of the road when he heard I had some bike troubles and dropped me at the bike shop. The cottage and yard was in great shape and they seemed to have everything you would need including beach gear in great condition. We never rented a car and biked everywhere; surfside, Nantucket meat and fish market, etc.

This house was great for our family summer vacation! My teen sons loved that it was so close to Surfside beach! It is in a very convenient location to get to everywhere on the island.

You cannot find a more welcoming, accommodating host than Clair! Her cottage is spotless and she has thought of everything! All the necessities for every activity: cooking, beach outings, sleeping, lounging, reading, navigating the island. She provided excellent recommendations for things to do, places to eat and great local shops. Clair is as wonderful as her cottage!

This is a special spot. We are so happy to return every year. The hosts are gracious and thoughtful.

My husband and I had a lovely time in Nantucket; and the cottage we stayed in made the experience even more pleasant. Mike and Clair , owners, were so accommodating and had thoughtfully outfitted the cozy cottage on their property with just about everything one could want to have in a vacation rental, and more! The cottage was immaculate, decorated nicely, very comfortable. The garden surrounding the property was filled with flowers and herbs as well as plenty of outdoor furniture to make relaxing , cooking on the grill, and eating outside a pleasant experience. I could go on and on, but I’ll just say it was one of nicest vacation properties we have ever stayed in; and we definitely plan to return.

This was the nicest stay at a rental property I've ever had. The house is spotless, beautiful and extremely well appointed. It's in a nice central location. The owners went above and beyond to answer questions, accommodate needs, make sure we were happy, etc. Highly highly recommend!

My friend & I spent a long weekend on Nantucket. This property was excellent! Our favorite features were the cleanliness, beautiful design with lots of natural light, well-appointed kitchen, fire pit, game selection, great yard for sunbathing & that was magical after dark. Hosts were welcoming, responsive, & helpful, while also very respectful of our privacy. Hope for the opportunity to stay there again!
