This is a very easy review, perfect location that is exactly as advertised and so well stocked and supplied we only bought groceries. We stayed nine nights and had zero disappointments.
If you are seeking a resort experience, do much better than a hotel. Room to relax yet within five to 15-minutes you can walk to any of the resort restaurants/ bars.
We could not have been more pleased and will not only recommend to others but, of course, return for more.
Dave and Susan take pride of ownership and comfort of their guests to heart.

This was my husband's and my second stay at Sue and Dave's beautiful condo. They have created a wonderful environment for a vacation. Every detail of what you might need is already there in the condo complete with a thick binder on the coffee table answering any question you might have with tons of great suggestion of what to do during your stay. They are always available to answer any question you may have and respond quickly. It has become one our favorite places to go in the world and we will be returning. Thank you, sue & Dave.

We had a wonderful stay in this peaceful condo! The unit was clean and welcoming and the lanai was perfect - overlooking both the ocean and a beautiful fish pond. Easy walk to the pool and the neighboring Mauna Lani Auberge Resort. The owners took great care to make sure we had a nice stay, and their recommendations for local dining and entertainment were greatly appreciated. The unit was also well equipped for preparing meals and eating in. We would definitely stay here again! Mahalo.

My husband and I had a great stay here April 14 to 20, 2024. The location next to the Mauna Lani Hotel really can't be beat. We were able to walk over to the hotel to grab a coffee in the morning, and also walked to dinner one night. There are many walking trails as well.
Having the two bathrooms in the condo was a major plus, and the view from the lanai was so wonderful. It is so great to have all the extra space that a condo gives you over a hotel room.
The beach club that is available for use was very nice, with a quiet lagoon, and cabanas and loungers for guests. There is a restaurant right there, and would have been a great option to get lunch, but the day we were there, Monday, April 15, their gas was shut off, so they could only offer cold items. The beach club was a small area, and was very crowded, even though it was still just mid-April. We prefer a different ambiance, so we took the drive up the highway the rest of the week to the beautiful beach at the Mauna Kea Resort. The public parking lot there is small, so if you want to explore that beach, go early!
The condo is also close to a small shopping center with a grocery store, where we bought a few provisions, and a Tommy Bahama restaurant and store. There are a few more restaurants and shops there as well.
Sue and Dave, the condo owners, were so helpful with lots of information regarding local dining options and activities. We really appreciate all their help, and thank them for making their condo available.

We had a terrific stay at Mauni Lani Terrace Condominiums. This was our first stay at Big Island in over 25 years and did not know what to expect. This unit is located very centrally to everything around the island. We did not have enough time to do everything but will have to come back soon. The Unit itself is well furnished with everything that you need for a short or extended stay. We absolutely would recommend this Unit.

This is a high end condo in a high end quiet development. The unit was fully stocked (as much as any we’ve been in). Very close to grocery , dive shop, and coffee shop. The pool area was quiet, with separate wading pool and large hot tub. The grilling area is a short walk from the unit.

Beautiful property and unit. Condo was perfectly appointed. Quick walk to the beach and morning walks around the fish ponds and along the ocean were second to none. Sunsets from the beach were fantastic. Hope to come back next year!

We booked this trip for our 30th Anniversary. Our only regret is that we did not book for a longer time. The property was exceptional and beyond our expectation. The view was spectacular and every amenity you could think of was provided. This property was the absolute cleanest of any rental property I've ever stayed at. The hosts were in communication promptly throughout the process and provided clear instructions and several options for sightseeing and restaurants. Pueo's Osteria is highly recommended!!! If we ever make it back I will definitely be rebooking here.

We've stayed in several units throughout Mauna Lani over the years, and we were very happy with Dave and Sue's unit. You can tell that it's well-maintained, and it was especially clean when we arrived. Everything that we needed for our trip was provided. The location is one of our favorites within the Terraces -- a nice view of the ocean in the distance, without getting caught up in the sights and sounds of the hotel. Dave and Sue were also incredibly helpful with respect to our checkin -- we were arriving from nearby, and were able to check in early with no difficulties. I know that's not always possible, but we were especially grateful that it worked in this case. Thank you, Dave and Sue!

We stayed here for our vacation and to attend my brother's wedding at the Mauna Lani hotel. The apartment was exactly as described. Perfect spot and lots of space to unwind and sit on the porch at the start and end of the day. It had everything we needed. The host gave us SO much helpful info and lots of tips.

We loved our stay at this unit. It was spacious and beautifully appointed with incredible views. It was so wonderful to wake up each morning and sit out on the lanai with our coffee, with such wonderful views and ocean breezes. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked well. The owners were very helpful and communications were easy. We couldn’t be happier and will stay again!

The beautiful condo had everything we could have needed. We cooked in most days, and it was so easy with the well supplied kitchen- oven, microwave, dishwasher, All-Clad pans, plenty of dishes and glasses. We enjoyed walking along the beach, paths and to the nearby stores. The owners provided great recommendations on the area both before we got there and also in the booklet left in the condo. The complex has a great pool area with plenty of lounge chairs. The grill area is designed wonderfully. There are two grills that are open any time, and three that you need to reserve. There are separate dining areas in front of each of the grills. It was also very nice that none of the facilities were crowded during our stay.

My husband and I had such a lovely time staying in this condo. The location was so convenient to all the amenities on the resort property. The walks to the beach along the fish ponds were so picturesque!
Kitchen was well stocked, bed was comfortable, everything was provided for beach activities, and the lanais were so inviting. We drank our coffee out on the lanai in the morning and played cards out on it in the evening.
The owners were responsive and ensured our stay was unforgettable.
If we make it back to the Big Island we definitely will stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying at this VRBO in Mauna Lani. It was clean, well stocked, accurately advertised. The owner was helpful with any issues. We used the grills, pool, and hot tub. The other guests we met were very friendly. We ate lunch at Tommy Bahama in the complex and it was delicious. We also found a brochure for Charley's Thai and it was very good. The shopping was nice and we would not have realized it was there if we had not looked for Charley's Thai. We visited 3 historic sites on the Kona side of the Big Island and learned more about it's history. We did not use the beach gear but would if we visited again. I would highly recommend this rental.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mauna Lani Terraces. The home was wonderfully equipped and so well cared for. The owners were in constant communication and made you feel like it was your second home. The location speaks for itself - you can indulge on Long Beach walks in either direction, superb dining and easy snorkeling. Thank you to the owners for providing a lovely vacation backdrop for us.

We enjoyed staying in this lovely setting overlooking the fishpond with ocean views…it is very nicely decorated & appointed, the bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, all in all a very comfortable condo. We’re looking forward to staying here again next year!

This condo is located in the perfect spot, walking distance from the beach club and right next to Mauna Lani resort. We enjoyed starting each day drinking coffee on the balcony overlooking the fish ponds and ocean.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo for two! Clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with all kitchen supplies, extra linens, beach chairs etc. Pool and beach access were easy. Very quiet setting and a beautiful view of ocean, pond, and palm trees from lanais. We've been to this area before but definitely appreciated all of the information provided about restaurants and recreation in the area. Would love to return!

Wonderful, well stocked condo with too many amenities to list! No need to purchase anything for the beach or pool- chairs, towels, beach toys for kids, boogie boards are all provided. The owners made a nice book that you will find in the condo- great tips for exploring, places to eat and interesting local facts. Would definitely recommend

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this luxury condo. The furnishing was Tommy Bahama quality with an Asian accent. Beautifully done.
Kitchen was stocked with everything one needs and the appliances were brand new! A few minutes walk to the Terrace pool where we could barbecue and go for a swim before dinner. The private beach was just a short drive away. We’ve stayed at the Terrace condos many times...this was by far our favorite. We will be back!
