The house was wonderfully equiped and had a very good layout. It suited beautifully as we were 3 generations.
Unfortunately it was a bit dirty. The kitchen floor was very sticky and the table was covered with crumbs. A bit disappointing but our stay was otherwise perfect.

Just had a great stay at Tanglewood, with its peaceful surrounds of dense trees and bush, makes you forget there are other houses somewhere out there. House clean, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms with lots of space. Kitchen fully equipped and the two lounges great to accommodate the nine of us.
Fire place with wood provided, even has an out door fire pit, but weather not conducive for us to use.
Relaxed and recharged here, we will definitely come back.

Lovely house, with lots of space and plenty of things there for us to do - books, games puzzles etc. This was good as the weather was really wet all weekend.
Some dishes were not very clean in the cupboard though the dishwasher seemed to work well for us.
Electric blanket in downstairs bedroom near laundry did not work.
We enjoyed the house and would go again.

Tanglewood is a lovely holiday home set among the bushes. It's located in a very convenient area, which is close to the wineries and other attractions.

Perfect house for three nights away with friends. we did a lucky dip to allocate the six bedrooms, and loved that the kitchen was so well appointed with stuff that cooking for ourselves vs. eating out some evenings was an option!

The house is large with plenty of space for a big family or a couple of smaller families and is located on a large bush block with excellent privacy. The size of the house and it's location just a short drive from Margaret River and numerous wineries and other attractions are the big positives. However the house is very dated and quite tired and the second story is built on timber so can be quite loud at night.
We enjoyed our stay, but for what we paid per night (into four figures), the standards should be significantly higher.

Recently had the pleasure of hiring this superb residence for a weekend in the Margaret River area to attend a Milestone birthday nearby. It was as advertised and more. Great retreat for our extended family. Marie-Louise is an excellent communicator. Our requests were facilitated easily and in a very friendly manner. Thank you... we'll be back!

The hose is located in a very nice rural setting, and still close to Margaret River town. The local Kangaroos paid a nightly visit. We had a party of 9, including our three grand children. There was ample room for all. A good holiday home, conditions permitting, we would stay there again.

House is a fantastic place for a group of friends to have a getaway down south. Various spaces and bathrooms. This house was so epic with everything we needed besides our own food. The kitchen was filled with every item needed to cook and each room was great. Absolutely loved staying here and will return.

We wanted to spend an entire weekend with our Bridal Party altogether to get ready for and celebrate our wedding at a local winery. Tanglewood was absolutely perfect!! Large enough to fit everyone and to still have extra space so we weren't on top of each other.
The surroundings are gorgeous and the property is well placed along Caves Road so you're close to a variety of wineries.
Their kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we've ever had for accommodation down south!!
Also loved the outdoor setting and dart board - many hours of entertainment and fun were had here!

Fantastic House in the middle of paradise
From the moment we requested our booking right through to our stay everything was perfect. We had 10 adults and two children aged 8 and 9 and everyone went off their devices, enjoyed each others company, the house and the surrounding property. The house was very well setup with everything you could imagine you might need. The bedrooms were well appointed and we even played a board game or two.

Perfect location and home for our Cape to Cape walk
We had a wonderful time staying at Tanglewood. The property is in a perfect location close to Caves road for the 6 of us girls to have our own room to retreat to at the end of our daily Cape walk sections. The home had everything we needed to make our stay so comfortable and relaxing

We stayed with a group of friends in this fabulous “Home Away From Home”. Tanglewood has everything - comfortable accommodation, scenic position, all the household requirements… even Mum & Joey kangaroos as wildlife on the back lawn. Many thanks to our hosts. A non-stress break
Tanglewood provided everything (in particular the pantry) to ensure that our stay was comfortable and relaxed.
It is very well located with access to the beach and Margaret River within a 5 to 10 minutes drive.

Perfect Getaway
Tanglewood was perfect for what we needed! We were 5 mid 40s moms in need of a secluded getaway, and Tanglewood offered the perfect spaces, tranquility and proximity to adventure to help us disconnect just the way we needed.
The house is gorgeously built and has plenty of spaces to retreat to for individual time, while also having communal areas to connect and laugh. The kitchen had everything we could need, as did the laundry when we had a mishap 😂.
The proximity to Margs was great, as we were able to feel in the thick of many activities while hiding away from the world.
Comms with the owner were great. She was wonderful about trying different ways to contact me, and then being highly responsive in a funny situation (bushfire in the nearby area).
We did discuss that the house had 2 bedrooms secluded from the others that would be perfect for bringing our younger family members along when they arrive 👼. The upstairs bedrooms are connected by a wooden floor that is a bit creaky, so if you have light sleepers keep them on the ground floor, as the rammed earth is incredible for sound dampening.
We've already started planning our next stay. Thank you for a lovely, and much needed getaway 😊.

4days girls get-away
Great. The fire was wonderful. Just one concern was the lack of sound proofing between the living area & bedrooms above. A few of us were nght owls & a few went to bed early. The latter couldn't sleep because they could hear every word of the converstion downstairs.

Peace and tranquility
After previously staying at Tanglewood in 2004, our family group were pleased to see the property has been extremely well maintained. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable setting for a family catch-up for 10 of us, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was well appointed, containing most comforts from home and was big enough for several people to be in at the same time. We had a fantastic stay, with some of us doing a lot of sightseeing, and others choosing to rest and relax. Highly recommended.

Home Away From Home
We had an amazing stay at this wonderful property. From the moment we all walked in the door, it just felt like home. We can’t begin to state how well equipped the property is, especially the kitchen - it has everything (and more) that you could possibly need. The design of the house is perfect for small and large groups and since we were 7 adults we could all find our own little space when needed, but come together without feeling crowded either in the lounge area or huge dining area. The wood stove was warm and cosy and an added bonus was the outdoor fire pit which we also took full advantage of. Ample bedrooms and bathrooms makes this property a perfect venue for friends and family to gather. Close to everything which is great. A special thanks to Marie-Louise for her flexibility and understanding when we had to move, cancel and rebook due to the travel restrictions of our Eastern based family members, who in the end could still not make it across for the family trip. Having stayed, and enjoyed this tranquil property we have all vowed to be back and hope to share with our parents from the East in the not too distant future. Thanks for a great time!

We fully recommend this stayz house. We could not fault it. Our stay was just fantastic. We had 7 adults stay at the house and it was so accommodating. Kitchen is so well equipped and pantry stocked well. Very clean and inviting. Definitely would stay again and recommend it to friends and family. Host was quick to respond and very helpful. Wonderful Home
Staying here for a family reunion was just wonderful. Plenty of space for us all and we were able to have a separate area for the babies. The living areas were so cosy and the kitchen was amazingly well equipped. Our host was very good with communication and always responded promptly to requests. The property is just gorgeous. We hope to come sometime in spring one year to experience it with better weather

Wonderful experience
We had a wonderful family experience at Tanglewood. The house itself was very comfortable and accommodated our family of 10 well. The surrounding bush was beautiful for walks during the day something the children really enjoyed. Close enough to Margaret River, the beaches and all other attractions.

Tanglewood - worth a stay
Tanglewood is a beautiful property in a quiet, private setting. Gorgeous garden, warm interior, well-stocked kitchen and good facilities. We were a group of 11 adults and we each had a comfortable room and were able to all enjoy the living areas together. Great weekend away!
