the size of the property to accommodate our family. closeness to the town’s centre. tidy and clean.

needed to have a queen bed or singles in the downstairs bedroom. maybe a king or singles in the front bedroom. numerous lights were out…range-hood, front portico. the 4 slice toaster only worked for 2 slices. TV in the games room wasn’t connected to Aus star. probably could do with a revamp! the master bedroom fly screens need some maintenance.

The location to everything was great. The house was big enough for 3 families to have their own space when needed. This is a great house for a large family, it caters for young to older. We loved the games room, kitchen space and the bedrooms were lovely, very comfortable and spacious. We had a problem with the hot water and the host responded very quick and solved the issue very positively with little impact on the family.

The rooster next door waking me up too early! But it is the country and loved the ambience most of the time! Lastly we didn't want to leave.

The spaciousness of the house, the games room and outdoor area were really good. Loved the master suite.

There is a need for some maintenance to bring the house up to the elegant status. There is a leaking shower downstairs, the floor downstairs is repaired with duct tape, some of the carpets upstairs are stained and a lot of the furniture needs to be restored or repaired, and the bat colony is very noisy and smelly.

Absolutely everything! Light, airy, spacious, well stocked & really clean. A superb property, we all want to come back!

The only thing we didn’t like was that our stay was regrettably too short.

Breakfast was not provided but there was tea, coffee and condiments/spices. The pool was great, we also enjoyed the patio.

Toooo many emails, also, receiving emails about how to get into the premises after we'd already stayed there. No response when I did reply to an email. The trouble with these surveys is no feedback so there really is no benefit in filling them out.

Tidy, spacious rooms and plenty of space to spend time together as a group.

The size is excellent, the upstairs main bedroom was fantastic, the kitchen provisions were great.

I think its time for an upgrade of some of the furniture/furnishings. The TV in the main living area is very small & old & the sofa is sagging & most uncomfortable. The airconditioning unit leaks when turned off after using onto the entrance hall floor. The shower in the downstairs bathroom needs new tap washers. One of the pool umbrellas is torn & broken.

The size of the house

A cold snap hit Mudgee & the air con heat went up stairs to bedrooms. Which was great but the down stairs area was quiet cold. But I think it was due to being so cold.

We loved the size of the home which was more than adequate for our group of 11 people. The rooms were large and comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out. The home also had a large bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor which was excellent for our friend who suffers from a back injury. We highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our visit to Mudgee staying at the beautifully presented Mudgee Country Grandeur. There was plenty of space inside the house for group or individual activities, lots of lovely grassed area outside and a playground within easy walking distance was an added bonus for the kids. It was a bit cool to enjoy the pool but the fire pit was a nice touch. Would highly recommend for a family group!

Our host was really thoughtful, providing a fruit and cheese platter, easter eggs, drinks and bottles of wine. The pool was lovely although a little cold for this time of year. The snooker/billiards table was well kept and great fun for the group. Plenty of other in-house entertainment options which we didn't use (DVDs, Xbox with current games and a wide selection of books.

Two of the bedrooms have a wire base, of the type that gave one of the adults a bad back after the 2nd night. Internet reception throughout the Mudgee region is weak, and this was also the case with the in-house wifi as well as with our Telstra mobile phones.
