Wir waren bereits 2022 in dieser schönen Unterkunft und es hat uns auch dieses Mal wieder sehr gut gefallen. Man erreicht zu Fuß den Grande Anse Beach und auch andere Strände schnell mit dem Auto. Trotz Sprachbarriere mit den Gastgebern sind wir immer wieder sehr gut zurecht gekommen.

The hosts were very welcoming but did not speak much English. Fairy convenient location close to Grand Anise beach. The in room air con worked well.

No mosquito nets provided meaning that myself and friend had 20/30 bites each after a couple of nights. I completely understand that the cottages are in the hillside and surrounded by nature but this surely would mean that mosquito netting would be provided. The living area has a sofa bed which makes it quite uncomfortable for more than 2 people to socialise. Because of the outside living space you have to shut the shutter to avoid attracting insects but once the shutter is closed the WiFi stops working so it felt very uncomfortable. We eventually had to check out early because it was ruining the trip. Additionally, the gardeners were constantly blowing away leaves with machinery which meant that there was a very unpleasant noise in the morning for extended periods of time.

Very clean and well equipped for our family, the setting was perfect the location was great for our vacation. The two bedroom unit was laid out great and had everything we needed. The owners, although spoke very little english (and we speak very little French), checked in on us appropriately and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Amour Deshaies for your next trip to Guadeloupe.

The roosters waking us up far too early, lol ....but this is not something Amour Deshaies has control over.

+ Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We arrived late, so they bought us some supplies for the breakfast. We also got a bottle of homemade punch. + Bungalows are brand new + Beautiful Grande Anse beach is just 5 minutes walk away

- In the neighborhood there are hens that walk around freely. Every morning you can hear cocks crowing loudly. Also in the evening there are a loud bird/insect noises coming form the forest nearby. We got used to it quickly, but if you need absolute silence to sleep, better bring earplugs! - The location on the booking.com map is slightly wrong. When you drive N2 from Pointe-a-Pitre airport, go straight on the roundabout with a gas station next to it and then, take the second turn left.
